"Took us some time to understand how things function in the room, but we finally got it. We missed the AC most. Although the city is at almost 2300 m alttitude, it can get hot in the summer and there's only a narrow window in the room. Too little to cool it over the night. No fridge means no cold drinks either. And also the shower nozzle is not fully functional. Water is fighting its way out of that 😵 But there is a nice lobby and also the room looks good. We did get a surprise snack around 10.00 pm. All put together I would say 'Better try one of the other hotels in the neighbourhood.'"

"It was well worth the effort to carefully select this hotel in Xining. The facilities are comprehensive and new. Its location is central to all attractions, yet not directly on a main road, making it very convenient – a quiet oasis in a bustling area. The breakfast was decent, and both the front desk and room service were excellent. The room's air conditioning is a central system, so the temperature (hot/cold) couldn't be adjusted. With Xining being a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings, it was actually warmer with the AC turned off these past few days."

"My last night in Xining, I chose this hotel mainly because it's close enough to the train station.
The hotel's underground parking lot seems to have a limited number of spaces (similar to the Holiday Inn Express I stayed at before). You need to get a handwritten pass from the front desk to enter and exit without paying for parking.
I arrived around 3:30 PM, and they said the room was still being inspected, so I had to wait a bit before getting the room card. The front desk also gave me two complimentary vouchers for afternoon tea on the top floor. I checked it out later, and honestly, it felt less impressive than the breakfast's dessert, fruit, and beverage selection. 😅
I got a room on the 20th floor with views of the mountains to the north and south of Xining, so I guess you could call it a ”mountain view + city view” room.
Breakfast was pretty standard. The local specialties from Qinghai were 'sanzi' and 'huahua' (I think that's what it was called, also a fried starchy food).
Similar to other HUAZHU hotels I've stayed at, this one had many tourists from eastern China. Around 8 AM, the restaurant and elevators became particularly crowded.

The room was very clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the toiletries were of good quality. "The room was clean and tidy, and the central air conditioning allowed me to adjust the temperature myself. The shower had great water pressure and was super hot and comfortable. Parking was also incredibly convenient, and the breakfast was delicious. Even though there were many people eating breakfast, the service attitude was consistently excellent. The cleaning staff in the hallways would also greet me warmly, which was really heartwarming. The front desk even upgraded my room for free because I had a baby with me, which I truly appreciated! Highly recommended!!"

This time I brought my two kids to Qinghai, and because of our itinerary, I specifically chose this hotel close to the airport. It turns out this decision was incredibly smart! Definitely a five-star review.
Location & Transportation: The hotel is very close to Caojiapu Airport and offers a 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service. After we landed, one call and the driver arrived quickly, which was super convenient. For travelers with late flights or those catching an early flight the next day, this is absolutely the top choice.
Room Facilities: The room was very new; you could tell it had been recently renovated, but there was no strange odor, which I really appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. Although it's near the airport, the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, and the kids slept soundly.
Cleanliness: The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the hallways and the room itself, everything was spotless, which made our stay very reassuring.
Service Attitude: The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was quick, and they proactively informed us about breakfast and the shuttle service. They even gave us yogurt upon check-in, a thoughtful detail that was much appreciated.
Overall Experience: This is a highly cost-effective airport hotel, suitable for family travel. Next time I fly to Xining, I'll choose this place again!

"The service was great! I was traveling alone with my child and also suffering from altitude sickness. The front desk staff kindly helped me carry my luggage from downstairs to the room and also helped me carry it down when I checked out. Thank you! The room had an oxygen concentrator, which was helpful. My only suggestion is for the front desk to keep some altitude sickness medication on hand, as it's quite inconvenient to buy medicine, and altitude sickness is really uncomfortable. Breakfast was okay, but due to the altitude sickness, I could only manage a few sips of congee."

The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and efficient; check-in was quick, and they even helped carry my luggage to the room. The room's facilities were new and complete, with a fresh and elegant ambiance. The decor was simple yet cozy. Complimentary disposable toiletries, bottled water, and tea were provided. The hotel maintained strict hygiene standards; the bedding was changed after each guest, and the entire room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust in even the trickiest corners. Overall, everything was excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining.

My stay at the Boway Hotel was fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, the bed was soft and comfortable, the environment was beautiful, the facilities were complete, and the soundproofing was excellent. The location is convenient, with easy access to transportation and dining options nearby. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, responsive, and professional, showing attention to detail. The kids' play area, specially designed for children, had a slide and a rocking horse, keeping our little one entertained non-stop. The room was exceptionally clean, and the thoughtful touches like children's toiletries and disposable toilet seat covers really stood out. Hot water came out quickly, and the mattress was super comfortable. The hotel's service was impeccable; from the warm welcome at check-in, we felt cared for throughout our stay. Drinks and towels were plentiful, and the hotel's location was very convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Our stay was perfect, and I highly recommend it to families with children!

It appeared that the management has a strut control on the issuing of amenities for the room. There's also no sign of the aircon controller in the room. Not recommended for long stays.

The hotel is very close to Xining Station, within walking distance, which is super convenient for catching high-speed trains. The front desk staff were very dedicated and proactive in helping with any issues. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the restaurant was spacious. They also have an underground parking garage, which is great for those traveling by car. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. The hotel's surroundings have a well-developed commercial area, making shopping and strolling very convenient. It's close to Xining's shopping streets and night markets. Highly recommended!

Downstairs, you'll find the Nanguan snack street, and it's just 100 meters to Nanguan Mosque, 400 meters to Dongguan Mosque, and 500 meters to Beiguan Mosque. The geographical location is absolutely perfect. It's only 2 km from the train station and a 30-minute drive to the airport. The floor attendant, Ma Ping, was incredibly welcoming. She gave us yogurt for each room and even helped me freeze the beef and lamb I bought from the night market. I highly recommend Hilton to anyone visiting Xining.
