#Praise# for the size of the room, the lighting in the room, the convenience of transportation, sound insulation, security, and the room layout are satisfactory; the hotel is super close to the airport, the reception service is very good, the breakfast variety is not many, but the basic models are available, like us The food is not large, the nutrition and variety are enough. Toast two slices of bread to make a burger, it feels good

Acuarium Suite Resort

Positives: Great clean pool, and professional in talking. Very friendly staff. Shower was good hot water. A lot of good local restaurants and takeaways close by to sample Dominican food. One of the staff members was always smiling when trying to help, Thank you Francisco for your efforts. Very positive: due to the number of people in our party, the hotel accommodated us to move from a pair of 2 second floor rooms to the ground floor, and were very understanding, thank you for that! Hotel located very close to main highway. Negatives: Very poor wifi quality, 1 of 4 rooms had 2 big cockroaches, leaking facet caused wet floors, the tv picture quality was bad. Staff respond to requests but it took time to resolve issues, ex. getting towels. The kitchens were in need of maintenance- cupboards broken, and very little cutlery available, This hotel needs a lot of maintenance to get it up to scratch. Laundry charges per item, be careful, we got charged heavily as charges are per item and depends on the item. It is NOT close to a beach, its close to a waterfront walk (not swimming beach). Note- if you do not speak spanish, make sure you have a translating tool.

The Hotel was OK. The attention was excellent except that it was rather far from a number of places worth visiting such as LA Ciudad Colonial.

My layover in SDQ was utilized for resting. I did enjoy my room. It was clean with all the amenities. I enjoyed sleeping long hours without any interruptions. The members of Staff were pleasant and service in the restaurant was quick. The hotel is in close proximity to the SDQ airport and was ideal for my layover. Taxis were available at the behest of the front desk.

The room girls were all right. Very good is the restaurant with the truest meaning of the word ”giant food cards”. Balcony is available in two rooms but not recommendable, as from 6 a.m. a ”superkrak from the street crossing”, so that sleep is possible only with earstops. The choice to Wi-Fi is sometimes very time-consuming and not constantly stable. For this, the huge TV also has Netflix in the offer and you can also watch directly German television on the Internet. If you want to shower with hot water, you have to turn the ”boiler heating” on 30 minutes before. At the moment, the outlets are generally discounted from a visit to the DomRep!!
Whala!Boca Chica - All Inclusive

After 10 wonderful days in Hotel Zapata (wrote another review), we decided to try 5 days all inclusive in this hotel...huge mistake!!! Pros:position in front of the beach, a few steps to shops and amenities, cocktails at the pool bars pretty good. Cons (a lot!!!) : - food always the same, not tasty, neither fresh (the Dominican food is tasty and delicious, completely different!!), red wine pretty undrinkable as per beer (both served from recycled plastic bottles, many hours after drafting !!!), fruit and sweets always with tons of flights.... -Air con in room very old and noisy if on, impossible to use it during sleep or watching tv - Booked directly on the hotel website a partial sea view room (the most expensive except for the direct sea view ones ), asking for a king bed and they gave us 2 queens with view on the roof - At 10 am, the second day, we saw the housekeeper didn't replace the towels after took it away and we had no towels in the bathroom, so we told her still in the corridor. She answered she was going to solve the problem.....After going 3 more times at the reception we could have our towels only at 23,00!!! So one full day without towels!!! Unbelievable !!!

PLEASE DONT BOOK THIS LOCATION WITHOUT READING THIS REVIEW FIRST. My husband, our niece and nephew and I stood here for a weekend in August 2020 and visually its a nice place. We stood on the first floor and the manager thought it was ok for her to come into the apartment after the fact that she gave us the rundown of the apartment already. You have to pay extra for the gas, you're paying what ever it is she tells you utilized. The icing on the cake was this lady the manager accused us of stealing towels which made really pissed off because I paid my money to go there and since it was an apartment we brought our own towels, which we opened up and showed the manager so she can see the towel weren't the same as the ones in the apartments. We told her no towels were put in one of the rooms to which she said that the cleaning personnel did and we argued back in forth until I got in the car and we left. The place is nice don't get me wrong but im too grown to steal. The pool is nice but the manager isn't professional AT ALL ! There was a tv in one of the bed rooms and in the living room which was black and white until my husband fixed it, they want you to turn off the Ac's to conserve light in 90 degree weather. If you stay on the first floor all you hear is the managers voice all through out the night.
