The hotel is located near the heart of Dotonbori, close to Don Donki, and within walking distance of Shinsaibashi and Namba. There is a 7-Eleven right outside, as well as a tax-free drugstore, which is very convenient. Check-in and check-out were both fast and smooth. You can leave your luggage at the hotel, but it is at your own risk. I hope next time they will take better care of the luggage, similar to other nearby hotels. Our water closet bidet was not working properly during our stay. The Super Twin Room was clean and spacious, which we appreciated. However, we hope the pillows can be a bit fluffier, as they were quite flat. It would also be better if there were two pillows provided per bed for added comfort

Had a really pleasant stay here. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. Location was also convenient with easy access to nearby shops and food. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Facilities: There's an ice machine and a vending machine on the floor, but no hot spring bath. Cleanliness: Toothbrushes, combs, and such are available for self-service by the elevator on the first floor. Housekeeping is only provided for stays of four nights or more. Otherwise, you're expected to place your trash bags and used towels outside your door, and new ones will be provided when you return. Given the price, I suppose this is understandable. Service: The front desk staff were very friendly, but check-in isn't until after 3 PM. Overall, nothing surprising. The location and price set the expectations.

I checked in quite late, and the staff member who assisted me spoke Chinese. She was very warm and attentive, explaining all the important details clearly. The Life supermarket is not far away, and after 8 PM, they have discounted food like sushi and bento boxes, which is really convenient. The room itself was spacious and felt very new.

I’ve booked this place twice. Overall, the experience was nice, but during my second stay, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working on the 6th floor (previously, I stayed on the 4th floor). I went to the front desk to complain, and they fixed it the next day. However, the signal was still quite weak, so the speed wasn’t as good as on the other floors. On the bright side, the room on the 6th floor (single loft) was more spacious, so it felt like a trade-off.

The hotel is literally beside a train station which is really convenient to go to airport. And there’s a family mart just 2 mins away as well. But the thing is the room really small and very small walkway for you to walk. And the sound proofing is so weak that you’ll able to hear the loud snoring from the room next to you if so happened there’s one. And I would really not recommend to those who not used to shared bathroom as it’s quite inconvenient and for female bathroom is at ground floor and need to pass by the hotel entrance and public area which is dining area that there’s bunch of people being there for using laptop and eating almost the whole day. First time trying this kind of hotel and guess it’s not my type but it’s good for experience.

Loved the location, so close to Dotombori and the plaza where you can just take the limousine bus straight to the airport. Room was clean, and comfortable; they offer a lot of amenities down in the lobby, and staffs were nice. Easy self check in and checkout, and they can help you store your luggage on checkout day if needed.

One of my top stays in Osaka! The room was quite spacious for Japanese standards and great value. There’s no daily cleaning, but fresh towels are provided. Its location is excellent—only 2 minutes from the subway. Food Recommendations: Kamukura Ramen: Expect a line even at 9:00 PM, but it’s worth it. Tokumasu (鯛専門店 徳ます): Incredible sea bream; very popular with locals. Pro Tip: Walk to Osaka Station to explore the various cafes and restaurants along the route.

✨ Acro Capsule Hotel (Japan) 🇯🇵 My first time staying in a capsule hotel, and honestly, I was more impressed than I expected! 📍 Location: Amazing! It’s very close to Dotonbori—just a few minutes’ walk to food, shopping, and nightlife. Also near train stations, so getting around is super convenient. 🛏 Capsule Room: I thought it would be very small, but it’s actually more spacious than expected. I could stretch out comfortably. There’s decent privacy with a curtain, plus a power outlet and personal light. 🧼 Cleanliness: Highly rated! The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Amenities are provided, including towels and a hair dryer. 👩💼 Staff: Friendly, helpful, and able to communicate in English, which makes everything much easier. 👍 Pros: - Great value for money, perfect for budget travelers - Excellent central location - Secure system with lockers for your belongings ⚠️ Cons: - If you get an upper capsule, climbing up and down can be a bit inconvenient (though it’s slightly cheaper than the lower one) - Some noise is unavoidable since it’s a shared space - It can feel a bit warm or stuffy at times 💬 Overall: Perfect for solo travelers or anyone who wants to try the capsule hotel experience in Japan. If you don’t mind limited personal space, it’s definitely worth it!

AAnonymous UserThe room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, with all the necessary amenities. The location is great, with a subway station nearby. It's just one stop to the Umeda shopping district, making it convenient to get anywhere. There are also convenience stores and many restaurants in the vicinity.

GGuest UserI stayed for two nights, which was perfect after a fun day at Universal Studios Japan – I could just come back and relax. The hotel is surrounded by a bustling shopping street with plenty of restaurants and shops. I even grabbed some Sushiro takeout to enjoy back at the hotel. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the three-part bathroom setup which was super convenient. All the bath amenities were well-stocked too. In the evenings, I could pop down to the 24-hour Lawson downstairs to buy a couple of onigiri to store in the mini-fridge. Each floor also has a microwave, so I could just heat them up before heading out the door in the morning.

GGuest UserI stayed at FL Hotel Dotonbori for two nights. When I arrived at Osaka Station, I was happy that the hotel was within walking distance, so getting there was very easy. The hotel is located slightly behind the main Dotonbori area, but it’s still close enough to walk to all the main attractions. The location is definitely convenient. When you enter the hotel, the amenities are placed in front of the reception, so you need to pick up whatever you need from the lobby before going up to your room. They provide pajamas, slippers, and other basic amenities. One nice thing is that they offer free breakfast every morning. It’s simple, just two pieces of bread per person and hot drinks, but it’s still a nice touch. Everything is set up in front of the reception, and you can take it back to your room. For me, there were a few downsides. I noticed a suspicious stain on the blanket on my bed. It wasn’t on the bedsheet itself, but on the blanket, which made me feel like housekeeping may have overlooked it. The room size is about average for Japan. I was able to fit three large suitcases in the room, but there wasn’t much walking space, so I had to step around them. Another issue is that the rooms are not very soundproof. Unfortunately, during my stay, my neighbors were quite loud at night, so that affected my sleep

KkennyanHad a really great hotel experience. The room was cleaned daily, and the hotel is surrounded by a bustling commercial area, making shopping very convenient. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I didn't hear any noise at all. Plus, the breakfast was abundant, and it offered great value for money.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Yotsubashi Station. If you're coming from Shinsaibashi, it's quite a long walk for an in-station transfer, which isn't very convenient. There's a McDonald's and a 24-hour supermarket downstairs. However, the 10 AM check-out time is unacceptable; hotels in Tokyo and Aomori all have 11 AM check-out. On the first night, I asked the front desk for an extra pillow and blanket but was told they didn't have any. Breakfast access is denied after 9:30 AM, and the selection is very limited. The room size was the smallest I encountered during my entire trip to Japan. The price is a bit high, making the value for money just average. While a 26-inch suitcase can be opened, for a family trip, kids pretty much have to sit on the bed as there's not much space to move around. The bathtub and toilet are in the same bathroom, not a separate setup. Overall, if I visit Osaka again, I won't consider this hotel. I strongly advise against booking the breakfast; for over 100 yen per person, you're better off getting something at McDonald's downstairs.

XXLbaoWe stayed at The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan during our 4th trip to Japan and our first traveling with our auADHD toddler. This was our second hotel in Osaka, and we arrived by taxi directly from our previous hotel. Taxi tip: make sure you show the taxi driver the hotel name and address in Japanese. Our driver initially dropped us at Universal Studios Japan instead of the hotel entrance and that cost us when it showed him the Google maps address. The hotel staff themselves were excellent. They deal with international guest on the daily and some speak English. Our forwarded luggage was received without issue and delivered directly to our room, which made arrival seamless. They have forms for luggage transport themselves that I used for our KIX airport hotel. Service throughout our stay was efficient and professional, and the staff clearly explained all hotel procedures. The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, which gives you a real edge if you plan to rope drop. The subway station is directly outside the hotel entrance, making transportation extremely convenient. Universal Citywalk is steps away, with Starbucks, Lawson, Bikkuri Donki (Great for familes by the way), shopping, and countless restaurants all within immediate reach. If you’re visiting USJ, I strongly recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. We arrived around 8:30 a.m., and it made the first ride strategy noticeably more challenging. Luckily disability service helped a little as it was similar to Disney when you have to go to the Fast Pass staff to get a return time but USJ uses pen and paper. The earlier you position yourself for rope drop, the smoother your morning will be. Lines were extremely long and we were only able to see half the park. Unless you have 2 days at USJ, I recommend buying the Express pass packages as early as possible as they were all sold out the day of. Definitely a big regret as we only had 1 day there. The onsen sauna was of an average size. After long park days, it was incredibly relaxing. The baths are separated by gender, and there are no private rentable family spaces, so that’s something to keep in mind if traveling to onsen if you are not comfortable going commando with others. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt slightly dated but it was clean and fully functional. One thing I missed was having a small kitchenette and in-room washer/dryer. Laundry is available on the spa floor via coin machines, but in-room units would have been more better. On our second day, we made a day trip to Ghibli Park in Aichi, which took about 2.5 hours each way via Shinkansen and local transit. It’s doable but long. If your primary focus is Universal Studios Japan, this hotel is an excellent strategic base. If you plan multiple long day trips outside Osaka, you may want something more centrally located. I should have planned a day to stay at Nagoya for my Ghibli Park day. Overall, The Singulari is ideal for travelers prioritizing proximity to Universal Studios Japan, easy transit access (but not centrally located), and post-park relaxation in a quality onsen setting.

GGuest UserI've stayed in some pretty luxurious five-star hotels and villa hotels in Hokkaido, Tokyo, and Hakone before, all costing upwards of CNY 2000 per night, with the one in Hokkaido even reaching CNY 4000. However, my room at this Tokyu hotel offered an unprecedented level of value for money. Since I was traveling solo, the price for one person wasn't high, and given that it's positioned as a business hotel, the cost was very reasonable and affordable. The room itself was well-equipped, featuring a spacious bathroom, a washing machine, and a microwave. The refrigerator was also quite large and included a freezer compartment. The hairdryer and bath products (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) were from Refa. The room was bright and spacious, allowing for a very restful night's sleep. The night view was also quite good. My only minor complaint is that it was a bit noisy from the cars passing by on the road, so earplugs were necessary. Also, there was some dust on the window frame of the floor-to-ceiling window that hadn't been cleaned. The location was excellent, conveniently close to two subway stations. The Omakase sushi restaurant I booked was just a 5-minute walk across the street. The only thing I wasn't too happy with was the breakfast; the variety was quite limited. Given the price point, and having stayed for three nights, I only managed to get the salmon set once during breakfast. It's worth noting that at this Tokyu business economy hotel, room cleaning only involves changing towels and emptying the trash. There's also no complimentary bottled water provided.

GGuest UserThe room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second, upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service.
