After comparing several hotels for my Luoyang trip, I ultimately chose Christine Hotel, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. It's perfectly suited for anyone visiting Luoyang for tourism or a short getaway. Let me start with the most impressive aspect: the service. Upon check-in, the front desk immediately offered chilled plum juice and thoughtfully put a protective sleeve on my ID card – small details that really made a difference. I had pre-booked the high-speed rail station pick-up service, and the driver provided wet wipes, mineral water, and a fruit box upon boarding, assisting with all luggage handling. Guests can order complimentary snacks, drinks, and seasonal fruits online at any time for room delivery, which was incredibly convenient when we wanted a late-night bite. They also offer free daily laundry service, so no worries about dirty clothes while traveling. Any requests to the service center were met with a swift response, and the housekeeping staff were always polite and considerate. The entire experience felt comfortable and effortless. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, which is incredibly convenient. It offers easy access to major attractions like Tian Tang Ming Tang, Ying Tian Men, and Wangcheng Park. There are also numerous restaurants and shops downstairs, making dining and stocking up on essentials a breeze. Our room was spacious and well-arranged, impeccably clean, and the bedding was soft. The 18th-floor Riguang Pavilion restaurant boasts fantastic views, and the breakfast selection was extensive, featuring both Western and Chinese options, along with local Luoyang specialties like beef soup and various pastries. There were plenty of choices, and the dining environment was open and airy. Objectively, the hotel does have a minor drawback. As an older establishment, the carpets and some room furniture show signs of age. During my stay, I noticed anniversary decorations throughout the hotel and learned that it has been open for 17 years! So, these minor imperfections are understandable. Overall, any minor hardware flaws were completely overshadowed by the meticulous service. The staff were gentle and professional, without being overly enthusiastic to the point of feeling intrusive. On my next visit to Luoyang, I will definitely prioritize Christine Hotel again. I highly recommend it to travelers who value convenient travel and excellent service details.

Excellent location and staff was ready to help anytime. It felt like we're staying in an ancient Chinese castle with modern amenities. Room was well sound-proofed and we could turn in early for the night even though night market was bustling with visitors. Delicious breakfast was available right before Li Jing Gate. Use Google translate to communicate with staff if you can't speak mandarin.

The room is very large and there is an office in the building. There is a TV The 65-inch one can project the screen. There is a free parking lot, which is very cost-effective. BEST STAY EVER! Long review, but a meaningful one. Hotel & Facilities: I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area. There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site! The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay. Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard. The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful. As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help. Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle: During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle. The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night. The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle. Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care. The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice. Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites! Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism. I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition. As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me. Overall: Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel. The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling. The location is great and the room is on a high floor, but it's a shame that all the windows have bars outside, which really wastes the good view. Another common issue found in domestic hotels these days is the lack of privacy in the bathrooms. They're either see-through glass or open-concept, without considering whether turning on the light in the bathroom at night would disturb children or other family members sleeping. It's truly frustrating; I really want to tell hotel owners: hotels aren't just for couples!

Let me start with the basics. I've only visited Xin County twice, coincidentally both times in the same hotel and the same room. Opening the window, I was greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the Huanghe River! A stroll along the riverbank, with a gentle spring breeze, was a rare and delightful experience! A small bridge leads to Xin County Square, the heart of the county! After a busy day, you can drive along the Xihe River to experience its serene beauty and tranquil atmosphere, or cycle through the former capital of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area to pay homage to its heroes and reconnect with your roots!

This location is heaven on earth. Surrounded by mountains that take on the form of Buddha. You sit right in the palm of a blessed spot. It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. There is a rooftop spot you can relax at, have tea, and even enjoy your meal there. The Shaolin temple is just a short walk from the hotel, and the owners will offer to drive you every time. Make sure to stay here if you are in the area. You will not regret it.
