CCitizen of The World - Veni, Vidi, Vici2024.11.16
We stayed in the lodge, with free carpark. The room was warm and cozy, excellent if you returned from the chilly weather outside. There is a shared dining and well equipped kitchen area. The laundry facility is also available. just need to pay using the coin slot.
Location is not too far from central - walking distance. Nice millennium hotel with bathtub, nice bed and good service. Breakfast basic though. No gym or sauna. Free parking! Comes with a nice lakefront view!
A motel run by a Chinese mother and daughter is 3 kilometers away from Invercargill city center. There are fast food restaurants and two large home appliances cities. The room itself is not large, but the bed is a good size. We only stayed for one night, so Yes, you need to take a bath or detergent at night
The room is not big, the location is excellent, facing the lake view, the snow-capped mountains against the Manapuri Lake is like a fairyland. Stayed for four days, reluctant to leave. The pier to Doubtful Sound is nearby, and walking along the lake is the ultimate enjoyment. Wan Lai was all quiet, except for the sound of the lake beating against the shore. Personally, I think this place is better than Queenstown because there are few people and the commercial atmosphere is not so obvious. Driving to Lake Te Anau is only over 20 kilometers.
Very good. The milk delivered is very delicious and you can refill it. Although the city of Invercargill is a bit deserted, this hotel is good. Will stay here next time
A stay at Riverlea Motel places you in the heart of Gore, within a 5-minute walk of Gore Historical Museum and Hokonui Moonshine Museum. This motel is 0.2 mi (0.3 km) from Eastern Southland Gallery and 0.3 mi (0.5 km) from Brown Trout.
This motel offers designated smoking areas.
Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 10 guestrooms, featuring kitchens with refrigerators and microwaves. Rooms have private furnished patios. 43-inch Smart televisions with cable programming provide entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. Conveniences include safes and coffee/tea makers, and housekeeping is provided daily.
Cabin was ok; poorly insulated, had to make own bed, a bit dirty, no towels.
Shared lounge was fine just tables and chairs
Kitchen was disappointing, no cups or plates, these had to be hired separately. Laundry was expensive and insufficient outside drying space to encourage people to spend on tumble dryer.
Location nearby lake was excellent although a fair walk or short drive into main town.
It was said that my boyfriend had missing a camera tripod and the hotel staff was kind and quick to help me deliver it to my final accommodation. Very grateful🫶🏻
Among the accommodation options near the lake and the restaurants, this one is relatively large and has many rooms, but the room facilities are relatively old. In addition, the next door to where I live is under repair, and the technicians are working with loud music. Although it is daytime, it also affects my rest. I saw a rainbow by the lake the next morning, which added points
Beautiful lake views. Super clean and well maintained specially inside the room. Warm and friendly owner with good recommendations on restaurant & cafe. Te Anau is a small town with proper choices of restaurants, cafes & bars. Good choice for stopover to Milford’s cruise ride.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a very central location and has its own underground paid parking lot. Parking is free at the door at night. The oysters in the nearby town of Bluff are delicious. There is a very popular local restaurant that is great and requires advance reservation. New Zealand's express hotels do not retain guest information, only verify the reservation name, and pay great attention to privacy.

EEVGENIINestled in the picturesque village of Arthur's Point, the hotel provided a serene and peaceful setting. The rooms were stylishly appointed, featuring modern amenities and breathtaking mountain views. The attentive staff and exquisite dining options contributed to an unforgettable stay in this scenic part of New Zealand.
CChengKiatThe staff are generally friendly however the service is not up to expectation. We are suppose to checkin at 2/3pm, and had a confirmation called from the hotel in the morning. However, when I arrived at 4pm, I was told that it’s not ready and they need till 5:30pm to have the room ready. The place was under renovation and it’s messy and dusty, but the room is nice and clean. Overall it’s good with nice view.
TTengWMWe had a spacious room, room has fantastic sea view, room is 1 minute walk to the beach, can see dolphins in the evening. Motel near to the Penguin walk area and few hiking trails.Kitchen has stove, hot plate but no oven. Only knew the washer available on common area after check out. As our car break down, friendly host allowed us to use the common toilet and offer us drinks while waiting for technical.

GGuest UserWas priced very cheap - room clean but very dated , camp kitchen needed a good scrubbing, broken amenities and no washing machine working - BUT hospitality was great and restaurant attached gave us one of the nicest and cheapest meals we had - took some famous sausages to cook away with us.
We were in hostel so was cheapest accommodation they had - 4 people room was only $100
LLeoLiuLztFacilities: All necessary, you can also cook in the room, there are ovens, microwaves, electric heating stoves, etc.
Hygiene: clean and tidy
Environment: The overall property is very spacious. There is a small hall plus a room and a bathroom. There is a parking space at the door of the room.
Service: Very enthusiastic, will proactively ask about your next travel plan, and give you some suggestions and city maps to help you better experience the surrounding scenery.
