Divya Sutra is the best hotel deal in town as far as rates and amenities. You won't find anything cheaper. You do get a lot for what you pay. My stay was during the off season and I found an even better deal online so I went ahead with the booking and was glad I did. I was hesitant after reading some negative reviews but have found nothing to really complain about. My room was clean and there was no sign of bed bugs anywhere. Before I moved in they cleaned the carpet thoroughly. Although the furniture was a bit dated, the beds were comfortable and the TV was huge with lots of channels. One thing to be aware of however is that the location is right in the middle of town and there is occasional traffic noise that some may find annoying. I got used to it right away and it honestly was not bad at all and my room was just a few floors up. The staff here are very friendly and very accommodating. There are two ice machines and two filtered water stations in the lobby which is awesome and it also looks like they are going to put a fancy coffee machine in the lobby as well. There's a sauna, hot tub, and pool and changing room and shower. The bar and grill is still closed which was a bit disappointing but there are many restaurants nearby. Overall, definitely a great place for both short and long stays.
Getting around is a breeze here, whether you're driving or using public transport. A skywalk connects directly to the Bridgeport SkyTrain Station, which means a quick 10-minute, 3-stop ride on the Canada Line to YVR Vancouver Airport, and just 20 minutes to downtown Vancouver.
Bus route 620 to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal (for ferries to Victoria) is right downstairs. You can also easily walk to the Richmond Night Market and the outlet mall, and major highways are close by for drivers.
The hotel boasts a huge indoor parking lot with reasonable rates and even EV charging stations. Guests park on levels P2 and P3.
The rooms are spacious, and the bedding is wonderfully soft. Higher-floor rooms offer stunning views of the Fraser River and the yacht marina, especially beautiful at night. If you're lucky, you might even get a free upgrade to a suite.
Overall hygiene is excellent, with thorough daily housekeeping. Standard amenities include a mini-fridge, coffee machine, and bathrobes.
Facilities are fantastic, featuring an indoor heated pool with a kids' water slide, a gym, spa, ******, Cantonese dim sum restaurant, Starbucks, and several other Chinese and Western restaurants.
Located in the heart of Richmond, a major Chinese community, you'll find plenty of Asian supermarkets and Chinese restaurants nearby. Hotel prices here are generally lower than in downtown Vancouver, making it an ideal choice for car rentals upon arrival or airport layovers.
However, since it's been open for several years, some lower-floor rooms show signs of age, with limited power outlets and average soundproofing. Being near the train tracks and flight path, you might occasionally hear airplane and train noise.
**Smoke Smell Alert**: Smoke sometimes drifts from the adjacent ****** floor. If you're sensitive to smoke, prioritize higher-floor, non-smoking rooms.
The dining options are a bit pricey for the quality; the breakfast buffet is expensive, and the fast food gets mixed reviews. You'll find better value eating at the many Chinese restaurants in Richmond.
**Pro Tip**: When booking, request a high-floor, non-smoking room with a river view to avoid the lower-floor casino-adjacent rooms.
This is the perfect hotel for an overnight stay near the airport. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes and gets you there in just 10. The rooms are newly renovated, very clean, and the bed is super comfortable. Compared to so many decades-old, run-down hotels in North America, the quality for the price here is simply unbeatable. There's a commercial area just across the river from the hotel, though it's about a one-kilometer walk. I'd definitely stay here again.
I am writing to formally express my very serious dissatisfaction regarding the condition of my room and the overall standard of service during my stay.
To be completely honest, the situation is far below what any reasonable guest would expect from a hotel of this category and price level.
There is clearly long-term dust accumulation on the exhaust fan and in multiple corners of the room. This is not a matter of minor housekeeping oversight for a day or two it reflects a prolonged lack of proper maintenance and cleaning standards. Such conditions are unacceptable for a property that presents itself as a luxury establishment.
Even more concerning is the foul, rotten odor coming from the sink water. Every time I brush my teeth or wash my hands, the unpleasant smell is immediately noticeable and deeply disturbing. This raises not only comfort issues, but also serious concerns about hygiene and water safety. At this level of accommodation, guests should never have to question the basic quality of the water provided in their room. I strongly believe this matter requires immediate professional inspection.
I chose to stay at your hotel and willingly paid a premium rate because I expected a premium experience including cleanliness, attention to detail, and reliable service. Unfortunately, what I have encountered so far reflects a significant gap between the price charged and the quality delivered.
In addition, despite leaving a tip for housekeeping and placing a written note clearly requesting replenishment, my shampoo was not refilled. I was eventually forced to go into the corridor to find another staff member for assistance. Cotton swabs were also not replenished for three consecutive days. These are very basic service expectations that should not require repeated reminders from guests.
Taken together, these issues have had a substantial negative impact on my stay and overall impression of the hotel. I find this situation extremely disappointing and frankly inconsistent with the reputation and standards your brand claims to uphold.
I would appreciate it if management could review this matter seriously and provide a clear and appropriate resolution.
I recently stayed at the Travelodge while my sister was in the Prince George hospital. The hotel is conveniently located near the hospital, with plenty of amenities in the vicinity. The breakfast is basic yet plentiful, providing us a quiet moment before heading to the hospital. The hotel has been newly renovated and is exceptionally clean. After my sister's passing, the staff were incredibly supportive in numerous ways. They also kindly waived the late checkout fee, allowing us to rest in our room before our evening flight. I would like to extend my gratitude to all the staff for their support and kindness during this difficult time.

Overall, it is a pleasant hotel for a short stay in downtown. Despite the Karma Lounge currently being under renovation, the hotel arranged a room dining service for breakfast as an alternative, which is acceptable and yummy. The hotel staff are helpful and kind. The location is close to down town, 5 to 10 minute walk to Robson Streetfor shopping, 1 block away has a supermarket and some nice reastieant eg The keg steak house.
Satisfied with the price. The facilities are old but compliant with the price.

DDouble O mamaWe wrapped up spring break with a super chill three-day, two-night stay at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, and it was exactly what our family of four needed.
The rooms were awesome—super comfy, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The view of the mountains? Absolutely stunning. It made lounging around way more enjoyable.
The outdoor heated pool and hot tubs were a hit with all of us, and the kids especially loved the marshmallow roasting session held daily from 4–6 pm. It was such a fun and cozy family activity! The ping-pong facilities were also a big favorite, though they seemed to be in high demand.
Breakfast was a highlight, too—the buffet had an amazing variety of options, and we were pleasantly surprised to find BC caviar as part of the offerings that day. A unique and delicious treat!
The only downside was the playroom—it’s a bit small, especially during busy times like spring break or summer. It felt a little limited for all the kids hoping to use it.
That said, the staff nailed it. They were super friendly and helpful, adding little touches to make our stay extra special.
Four Seasons Whistler definitely delivered. We left feeling recharged and already talking about when we can come back!
GGuest UserThe room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time. The service was excellent. I had originally booked for several consecutive nights but had to check out early due to unforeseen circumstances. The hotel kindly agreed to process a refund, and I'm very grateful for their understanding.
GGuest User• **Prime Location:** Just 4 km (a 10-minute drive) from Vancouver Airport, with a complimentary shuttle bus service. A 5-minute walk to the SkyTrain station, offering direct 20-minute access to downtown.
• **Excellent Soundproofing:** Despite being close to the airport and highway, the rooms are remarkably quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
• **Comfortable Bedding:** Features the highly acclaimed Westin Heavenly Bed, with spacious and bright rooms.
• **Warm Service:** The front desk staff are professional and friendly, offering Chinese-language service and proactively providing shuttle information, umbrellas, and earplugs.
• **Convenient for Chinese Travelers:** Located in Richmond's vibrant Chinese district, surrounded by numerous Chinese restaurants and supermarkets.
This hotel is a top choice for layovers and early morning flights, and great value for money. It's also ideal for travelers who prefer to stay in a Chinese-speaking area for easy access to Chinese cuisine. While not a luxury property, its location, service, and comfort are outstanding, making it one of the most recommended hotels in the Vancouver Airport area.
BBeifengledehuiyislkThe hotel is next to Stanley Park and English bay p. The location is excellent. Going out to see the sea. There is a paid parking space. The price is reasonable and convenient. Although it is a century-old store, there is no modern feeling, but the service is good, the room is spacious and the staff is warm and thoughtful. The restaurant on the first floor is not available on weekends. The seat is a small regret
GGuest UserThe cleanness of the room was excellent. The room had a musty smell had to go out and purchase an air freshener to help absorb the smell. I asked if they had bbq was told yes. So we went out bought a steak only to find out it is a charcoal bbq and you had to supply your own. So it was a big disappointment and put a damper on our stay. The hotel is not close to city so heading out again was not an option.
If you want cleanliness it was 100%
NNgan Ho YanThe hotel service is satisfactory, the counter staff is willing to help, and I recommend friends to stay here. I will stay here again. But you need to bring your own slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush as the hotel does not provide them. The hotel breakfast is a surprise and different every day.
MMichael1977We arrived at 7 pm but front desk was already closed. They had emailed us info regarding this but to be honest I barely read anything because we were busy traveling. So it is my fault however it would have been better to have someone at the front desk. Then again this probably their slow season so I kind of understand. Room was nice and clean and large. Great place especially if you are skiing there.
JJess CollinsOverall good. Very basic motel, but it is clean and comfortable. No real extras or amenities- there was coffee in the lobby when we checked out early in the morning. The heating unit could use an update- it was either on or off, too hot or too cold - difficult to get to an nice comfortable temp, but it worked.
