The location is excellent, in the heart of the city; there are plenty of parking spaces, so driving is worry-free; the breakfast has a rich variety; I was worried that the equipment and facilities would be old, but the actual experience shows that the hotel has spent some effort on maintenance, and it is clean and comfortable; finally, let me talk about the service. The day of check-in happened to be a family member's birthday, and the young lady who checked me in was very attentive, and immediately sent blessings and small surprises. The glasses brother in the hotel's Chinese restaurant also gave me a very warm reception, which left a brilliant impression and memory for me and my family.

We had a very satisfying stay. The hotel service was excellent; when we accidentally left something behind, they went above and beyond to find it for us and kept it safe. We booked multiple rooms together. The lobby had lovely ***** New Year decorations, and outside, there's a large lawn with a non-powered playground and sandpit for kids, plus cute pets you can visit for free. The resort atmosphere is fantastic for relaxation. Our room was very clean, spacious, and bright, with tidy bedding. The private balcony offered particularly expansive views. The surrounding environment is pleasant, the air is fresh, and getting around from the hotel is very convenient. As a new hotel, the facilities are also comprehensive. My family and I were all very pleased.

This hotel is a MUST-STAY accomodation if someone is traveling to Zhaoxing Dong Village or Tang'an Dong Village. The views outside of the hotel room are drop-dead gorgeous, both during the day and night. But the most pleasant aspect of staying here are the exceptionally kind and thoughtful hotel owners. Vivian speaks excellent English, and is very knowledgeable and patient. My room was clean and quiet. Vivian helped me purchase a ticket to a local campfire/theater show at a big discount too. I definitely would recommend staying here.

The hotel environment is pretty good, though the soundproofing isn't ideal. However, once you're asleep, it's not a big deal. It's located right at the entrance of the pedestrian street within the ancient city, so there's a good amount of foot traffic. The hotel breakfast tastes good, and the auntie who makes it is very warm and friendly!

The B&B is located inside Zhaisha Dong Village and is very clean, both inside and out. The rooms have large, floor-to-ceiling windows, providing excellent natural light. There's a decent-sized free parking lot nearby, and it's only an eight-minute drive to the east gate of Fanjingshan Scenic Area, making the transportation very convenient. This is a truly heartwarming guesthouse. The owners are incredibly warm and accommodating; they go above and beyond to help with anything you need, providing exceptional emotional value. We stayed here for two nights, and the experience was truly wonderful.

Facilities: This is a newly opened hotel, so the decor and amenities are brand new. The design is simple yet grand. Hygiene: Very clean and comfortable. Service: The front desk staff, especially the lady, was beautiful and considerate. She really set a great impression for Guizhou girls, haha. Room Size: The twin room was spacious enough. Location: Right next to the high-speed train station and bus terminal, which is super convenient. It's also easy to get a taxi or Didi to the city center. For us, who were transferring to Huangguoshu Waterfall, it was incredibly convenient. Since it's close to the high-speed train station, it can be a bit noisy, so light sleepers might want to reconsider. My friend and I are sound sleepers, so it didn't bother us. I forgot to take photos, but overall, it was really great.

The B&B gave us so many surprises. First of all, the housekeeper Xiaoqin was always thoughtful from check-in to farewell. She is a simple and kind-hearted person. The children especially like her. Secondly, the bedding, cleanliness and quality of the rooms in the B&B are all very good. There is also free afternoon tea and minibar. Third, the view from the room is very good, and you can see the entire Drum Tower and stockade. Fourth, the design of the B&B is very clever, with water systems interspersed in it, and it is well-proportioned. Fifth, I was lucky enough to catch up with the wedding next door and get a free dinner. I integrated into the local life and the food was delicious!

The front desk upgraded our room for free, which was a nice surprise. It had a bathtub, was spacious, comfortable, and clean. A huge plus was the complimentary laundry and drying service; the staff picked up our clothes late at night and delivered them back bright and early – absolutely fantastic! The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the mixed rice noodles for the late-night snack were delicious too. The service staff were all incredibly warm and attentive!

The room was very clean and quiet, and the breakfast was superb! The service was excellent; every staff member greeted us warmly with a smile. We were able to get a late check-out. The hotel has two free parking lots, and the one on B1 has charging stations, which is great for electric vehicles. We even received complimentary welcome fruit and a welcome card upon check-in, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch! Food delivery was handled by cute robots. The location is good, just a short taxi ride from the train station. The facilities are new, comprehensive, and well-designed, perfectly meeting our needs. The space is also very well laid out!

What a cosy and lovely minsu to stay in if you are planning to explore Xiaoqikong Scenic area! The minsu is only 5-10 minutes walk from the east entrance or the minsu will also arrange to bring you to and fro with a buggy ride. The chap at the reception, Xiao Feng, is especially friendly and is always happy to have a chat with the guests. He also arranged for free transport to bring us to and fro Libo railway station. The room has everything that we need - the shower water was warm, air-conditioner was comfortably cool and there is even a fridge! Place is also within walking distance to convenience stores and a food street. Thank you for the hospitality!

CCddvgddgbbEverything else was great, and the view was absolutely stunning! The only downside was the poor soundproofing. Around 1 AM, I could clearly hear two guys talking in the next room, and I seriously wanted to chime in. After I reported it to the housekeeper, they promptly replied that the other guests hadn't closed their balcony door. But even after they closed it, it was still noisy. I was so annoyed that I got up and punched the wall twice at the foot of my bed. We got back around 11 PM and finished getting ready for bed around midnight. We had to catch a train back to Guiyang Airport the next day and wanted to get some extra sleep. The men's voices were deep and boomy, and it was just a constant drone. Also, in the morning, the sound of water running from people showering and brushing their teeth upstairs and downstairs was really loud. It startled me awake, making me think our own faucet had turned on. And the clip-clop of horses carrying supplies downstairs was also quite noisy.

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

YYikuaixiaobingganoPros: The guesthouse is a standalone courtyard house, decorated in a cute and refreshing style. Very good, especially pet-friendly, which was very convenient as we had a dog. The owner even helped with our luggage upon arrival, and parking was free. We slept very well that night; the pillows were so comfortable. I asked for a link before leaving but forgot. Also, the owner's breakfast rice noodles were super delicious! Although a bit spicy, they were incredibly fragrant! Loved it! Cons: The location seems to be inside a scenic area, making it a bit difficult to find by car. We drove around for a while and finally had to ask the owner for directions. It would have been better if they had given us directions beforehand. The owner seemed a bit laid-back, and their service awareness was somewhat lacking 😂. Because it's a standalone building, the rooms are quite compact and small. The stairs are a bit steep, and it was quite loud outside in the morning. Overall, it was still pretty good 😎

GGuest User1. Great location: very close to Fanjing Shandong Gate, within walking distance, and there is a stream behind the house, children can hydrophilize under the premise of ensuring safety, there are fish and shrimps in the stream. 2. The room facilities are very good: the bedding is comfortable, the room is large and bright; Bathing, toilet, washing are separated, convenient, and smart toilet; the most essence is that the balcony is facing the stream, listening to the sound of the water, drinking a little wine, feeling the quiet, empty peak. 3. The service is considerate and thoughtful: I did not book the ticket to Fanjing Mountain for personal reasons. The little brother at the front desk was enthusiastic to book for free. Later, I learned that this is a homestay invested and operated by the scenic spot. It seems that the background is very solid, you know! Our family stayed here for two nights and felt that it was excellent value for money. It is highly recommended that friends who come to Fanjing Mountain to stay in Muxi Mountain Residence. This is a real evaluation from retailers, not an advertisement! In addition, the overall decoration of the mountain house feels very atmospheric, there are gourmet restaurants nearby, even the free breakfast provided is simple, homely and delicious, it is made by the aunt. In short, I hope that the mountain residence will be better and better, and it is recommended to add music barbecue in the future. In the quiet, we will give us lively options. Boss, I am so serious about commenting, interact with 😄

AAnonymous UserI had the most wonderful stay at the hotel run by Rose, who among others is an English teacher! From the moment we arrived, the location completely stole our hearts — nestled perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the mountains right from our room window. Waking up to that stunning scenery every morning was a dream come true. But what truly set this experience apart was Rose’s incredible care and attention. When we unexpectedly got sick during our stay, Rose went above and beyond to assist us with kindness and genuine concern. She made sure we had everything we needed, from medical advice to thoughtful comfort measures, making us feel safe and supported far beyond what we expected. If you’re looking for a place that combines an unbeatable location, glorious mountain views, and heartfelt hospitality, this hotel run by Rose is absolutely the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

PPangpangderderThis review is based on my personal experience with my 70-year-old mother, and is objective with verifiable facts. All recordings and videos are backed up in the cloud. Firstly, an objective overview of the guesthouse: Hygiene: The owner and his wife clean the rooms themselves. Disposable towels, bath towels, and toilet seat covers are provided. Room: We booked a scenic room, and it indeed offered the promised beautiful night view of the Miao village. Amenities: There's a washing machine at the front desk; I didn't use it, so I don't know if it's a washer-dryer combo. Accessibility: The first step upstairs in the guesthouse is very steep and not suitable for people with mobility issues (the elderly, those carrying young children, or anyone with walking difficulties). Price: The price I paid, over 200 yuan, wasn't cheap but not overly expensive. On the night we arrived, many places in the same area were offering rooms for 180 yuan, but that's a matter of luck, so I wouldn't call it expensive. The reason I can't give a good review and strongly disagree with the other five-star reviews is simple: Initially, the owner was very enthusiastic, proactively added me on WeChat, and communication was fine. However, after we drove through 18 winding mountain turns and arrived at the parking lot the owner had sent, the owner's wife first said we parked incorrectly, then claimed she wasn't familiar with the situation. Because it was late and the parking lot was empty, I couldn't find the North Gate, and with an elderly person and a pet, I asked the owner if he could kindly pick us up at the North Gate. The owner agreed and told us to wait for half an hour. During the wait, the owner suddenly backed out, refusing to pick us up and saying (which I understood was well-intentioned) that the stairs were too steep for the elderly, suggesting we cancel and find another place to stay. It was past 9 PM. I thought his point was valid and agreed to his suggestion, only to find that canceling would incur the full room charge. I then contacted the owner again, asking him to pick us up or not charge the full amount. The owner refused and told me to contact Trip.com. After several rounds of communication with Trip.com and the owner, we decided to proceed with the stay (because I didn't want to lose over 200 yuan for nothing, and felt it was unreasonable to be charged the full amount when the cancellation was due to his suggestion and not my fault). At this point, the owner stopped answering calls to pick us up (neither the North Gate nor the small North Gate). If anyone says they could find the place without a pick-up, I'd be impressed. It was already 10 PM. After getting off at the small North Gate, it was deserted, and I couldn't find anyone to ask for directions. After unsuccessful calls with the owner, Trip.com, and the scenic area management committee, I reluctantly called the police. We were eventually escorted to the guesthouse by the police. In the middle of the night, Trip.com even called me, trying to persuade me that the owner was being kind by offering a free night and canceling the order. I explained the whole situation and refused, fearing being kicked out again in the middle of the night! The next day, the owner's wife, with a very good attitude, pulled the owner aside and said that last night's incident was a misunderstanding. They then drove us to the bus station outside the scenic area. After checking out, she even contacted me to cancel the order. And the night before, after I called the police and before they arrived (about ten minutes after my last call with the owner), the owner's wife felt sorry for my mother and me and came to pick us up at the small North Gate. This is also why I didn't give the lowest rating for service. However, after the threats my mother and I experienced that night, where calling the police was our only recourse, I could not cancel the order nor give a five-star review. Because I know some people don't think they did anything wrong; they are just worried that bad reviews will affect their ratings and profits. Finally: I chose this guesthouse because I saw its high ratings, but I didn't expect such an unexpected experience. I also urge future netizens who book accommodations on Trip.com to evaluate and describe truthfully, and to carefully choose third-party platforms that provide services. Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village Miao Museum pick-up: They promised to pick us up, then suddenly backed out. We were deceived and threatened. The next day, whether out of kindness or professionalism, they did drive us.

LLisa P BI felt so welcomed and comfortable at this boutique hotel in ancient Xaisi. I understood that this hotel was in an older part of Kaili. On further exploration I found it to be in an extremely historic an ancient village of Xiasi that spanned many dynasties. Within walking distance to can find architecture that represents Qing and other dynasties . Xiasi’s streets reveal layers of history where Han, Miao, and merchant cultures converge. Stone streets, wooden covered bridges, decorated eaves, bell towers, and imperial and domestic courtyards reflect exquisite craftsmanship. My room overlooked the Qingjiang River. It was beautiful appointments with indigo fabric details. I especially liked the Chinese red chair. My room also have a spacious balcony. The owner took care of me like I was her daughter. It was so sweet. The central courtyard of the hotel is a lush garden. I loved exploring Xiasi during the quiet off-season. Its enchanting alleyways and ancient architecture is extraordinary. It’s especially romantic as evenings falls and this historic village is lit by red lanterns. I highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to returning.

GGuest UserWithout a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. Its prime location in the Center of the village with a wonderful view on the old houses , and the rooms are impeccably clean. The service is amazing , drinks at the entry, wash clothes, breakfast … everything is really perfect but what truly stood out was the incredible kindness of the staff. They helped organize everything and provided a breakfast box as I was I left too early in the morning. I totally recommend this place and this village has been definitely one of the main highlights of my 20 days trip in china :)

GGuest UserThere are two resort hotels in Qingyan Ancient Town, one is Holiday Inn and the other is Holiday Inn Express. When traveling, I always give priority to Holiday Inn, after all, the quality is there. I have stayed in Holiday Inn and Express in other cities, and generally there is only Express in second-tier cities. This time I stayed in Holiday Inn, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel environment and service quality still meet the Holiday Inn standards, including the parking lot downstairs, which is still relatively bright. However, the shortcomings are also obvious. 1. The room is very small, and the bathroom is also very small. The size of the room is about the same level as the Holiday Inn Express I stayed in before (the supporting balcony occupies too much area). In the bathroom, two people can't turn around at all. One person blows his hair, and the other person has a narrow path to pass! 2. The shower water is super small! ! Originally in Xijiang Hotel, the water was big and not too hot. I wanted to stay in Holiday Inn to take a good shower and relax. The bath water is really unimaginable, and it is comparable to a solar water heater. 3. The breakfast is not good. One feature of Holiday Inn is that there will be one or more local delicacies for breakfast. Qingyan Holiday, breakfast is marked as ”Ciba Porridge (I think this is the name)”, but I asked the restaurant staff and they confirmed that there is no such thing! After walking around, the dishes are also available, but there are only a few varieties, which are slightly better than the Express. The price is 100+, which is actually not worth it. If I come to Qingyan next time, I may stay at the Express. The price difference of 400 is obviously not much improvement.
