My stay at the Hilton Yantai Shimao exceeded all expectations! The hotel boasts a prime beachfront location, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in my room framed the stunning blue ocean and city skyline like a moving painting, especially the breathtaking sunset in the evening. The service was impeccable, from the efficient and warm front desk staff to the meticulous and thoughtful room service – every employee was genuinely friendly and always ready to assist. The breakfast spread was fantastic 🎂, with the local seafood noodles being a particular highlight. The well-equipped fitness center and indoor heated pool allowed me to stay active during my trip. Whether for business or leisure, this is the perfect choice for a visit to Yantai. I'm already planning my next stay!

Feifei's service is excellent, warm, thoughtful and attentive. The hotel is in a prime location with convenient transportation. It is very close to the Eight Great Bureaus and the hotel offers free parking.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, which was perfect for my early train the next morning as I didn't have to wake up too early. I arrived at 11 AM but couldn't check in until 12:30 PM. The room was spacious, but the facilities were quite dated.

Staying at the Hilton Yantai Golden Beach was an absolutely perfect seaside vacation experience! First and foremost, I have to commend the hotel's location and views. Opening the window reveals an unbeatable golden coastline. The sea view room offers an expansive vista, making both watching the sunrise in the morning and enjoying the sea breeze in the evening incredibly pleasant. I especially want to highlight the front desk service – it was truly meticulous! During check-in, the staff were not only efficient but also proactively informed us about the next day's weather and recommended sightseeing routes, even thoughtfully reminding us of the peak hours for breakfast at the restaurant. Furthermore, the hotel's dining quality is also impressive, with a rich variety at the buffet.

Facilities: Excellent and smart. Hygiene: Clean. Environment: Garden-style, very beautiful, convenient for getting around. It's only a few minutes' walk to the Three Confucius Sites, and parking is free. Service: Butler-style service, warm and thoughtful, very attentive, with complimentary afternoon tea. Great!

The odor was so severe that there were no doors to the bedroom or bathroom. I can only sleep with the smell. Second, I booked a room with a panoramic king bed, but the glass was covered with mud spots. , which greatly affects the view of the sea. Third, the entire hotel is in a semi-finished state. The bar downstairs is still being renovated, and the sound of electric drills can be heard from time to time. Fourth, the rights and interests prompt that you can upgrade the room type for free, but the front desk tells you that the upgrade is not possible, and you have already booked the highest room type. I checked and found that there are actually more than 2,000 rooms left. If you don’t want to upgrade, just tell me. Fifth, the hygiene is worrying, the sofa cushions are dirty and the sink is dirty. Sixth, the decorators piled the corridors with building materials, which looked very vivid. I understand, it's decoration, but talking on the phone loudly in the corridor really affects your rest. I really can't stand this. That's all. Finally, I suggest everyone to check in to the castle, order a cup of coffee, sit here and take photos. The 1,500 yuan to stay in the hotel is just a waste.

Booked a first-line sea view room for my mom to enjoy the Torch Eight Street ocean view. We were so lucky to also see snow! As a 'southern potato' (someone from the south unaccustomed to snow), I felt incredibly fortunate. The hotel is fantastic, truly a first-line river view. The room was clean and hygienic, and very close to the Taierzhuang Scenic Area, just 400 meters from the West Gate. The lovely receptionist warmly introduced the Taierzhuang tour itinerary and sent us the performance schedule and tourist map of the scenic area to our phones for easy viewing and reference. She also helped us carry our luggage upstairs and recommended affordable restaurants for us, repeatedly telling us to contact her if we needed anything. Before we left, she even gave us Shandong pancakes. The hospitable Shandong girl was warm and simple, making us feel at home.

While visiting Taishan looking for a hotel that had connecting rooms or a family suite the options are limited but we found the Jianguo Hidden hotel family suite was perfect for our needs. The hotel is brand new with works still being done on the 1st floor, and swimming pool but this didn't affect our stay. The hotel is built as pert of a residential complex and the interior layout of the rooms reflects the original intent of an apartment meaning the bathroom and toilet are together and a bit squashy. The are is quite new so there isn't much around, but within a short walk there is a bunch of restaurants and a supermarket. A good base to head to Taishan. If you drive an electric car almost all bays in the carpark were fitted with slow chargers, good for an overnight top up..

The hotel was poorly prepared for the festival season. I arrived at 4 p.m., an hour after my scheduled check-in time, only to be told that my room was not ready and that I would need to wait another 50 minutes. I waited in the lobby for about an hour, but the room was still not available. The staff asked for my phone number so they could call me once it was ready, as I had to leave to meet a friend. They eventually called around 6:30 p.m. to let me know the room was prepared. When I returned to the hotel after dinner, I discovered there was no drinking water in the room. At first, I assumed this might be part of an ESG initiative, but I later had to go out late at night to buy water. On the second day, the staff gave me half a dozen bottles, and I realized they had simply forgotten. That was not the only oversight—they also forgot to close the balcony door. As a result, the room was extremely humid despite the air conditioning running at full power. I initially assumed the humidity was due to being near the sea, but on the second day I noticed the balcony door behind the curtain had been left partially open. Overall, the hotel seemed overwhelmed by the large number of visitors attending the beer festival. The location is convenient for the beach, though public transportation, such as the metro station, is a bit farther away. The facilities are somewhat dated and lack modern features such as fancy toilet seats, but the rooms are fairly spacious, likely because the hotel is not in the city center.
