This hotel is amazing, with great staff and services. It’s well located with enough shops nearby if you need snacks. It’s also a few minutes drive from the Karez Garden experience and near other activities, such as the market. The site where the hotel is located is at a new place that imitates that of an ancient Uyghur city so it’s an attraction on its own. The room was very clean and comfortable, with all ameneties needed. I want to point out that the staff was very friendly and kind, and it was a real pleasure staying there. I will be staying there again if I return to Turpan and I will recommend the place to my friends. Thank you very much!

This was my first time in Tashkurgan, and after browsing various platforms and recommendations, I finally settled on the Vanishing Starry Sky Camp. My stay was incredibly satisfying. The place was clean, the service was excellent, the location was superb, and the views were absolutely stunning! The room was tidy and quiet, with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast offered a great variety, making for a fantastic overall experience! Traveling with kids, I was particularly pleased. The lobby area had a small play zone, and there were various facilities for children right next to our room. The staff were very attentive to the little ones, making it perfect for a family trip!

Came here on a popular weekend, the hotel was fully booked. The location is easy to find with navigation. Parking is available at the guesthouse, though the alley can be a bit tricky to navigate. Since we drove, but parking was a hassle, we mostly used taxis to get around. The street outside is full of wholesale shops and is constantly congested. There are also many late-night food stalls in the evening. The room was very clean, and the showerhead was large with great water pressure, making for a comfortable shower (though it's an electric water heater, so it only supports one person showering at a time; the second person has to wait). Shampoo and shower gel (P&G Rejoice brand) were provided. There’s also a rooftop where you can dry clothes, which is very convenient! Pic 4 shows the exaggerated Xinjiang-style decor. Pic 7 is the lovely alleyway outside the guesthouse. Pic 8 is the guesthouse lobby!

A true panoramic stargazing hotel! The hotel staff personally took us to capture stunning photos of the night sky. The sunrise at Jincao Beach was absolutely beautiful and truly added a surprising highlight to our trip. The hotel is clean and tidy, the service is warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is abundant. The hotel also has an observation deck – highly recommended! 👍

The hotel's location is superb, right at the entrance of Mönkh Te. It's also super convenient for heading to Duku Highway the next day. The butler was incredibly nice, answering and resolving issues promptly. The view from the hotel window was absolutely stunning! See the pictures! The only downside was that Duku Highway was closed that day, so there were a lot of guests, and the laundry room was a bit chaotic. I had to wait three hours for the dryer, but everything else was fantastic!

It’s a great hotel. Once we arrived, Dai Shi Fu greeted us warmly and showed us to our hotel room. The room was modern, with Xiao Du voice assistant to control things like the curtain, which was nice. It was really spacious and everything is clean. My only gripe is with the location. It’s just far from the “city central” like supermarket and malls. It was difficult trying to hail a ride. Although they have shuttle bus, but it arrives every 20-30min, which unfortunate I did not try. If you are ok with like 10min drive to get stuff, I think this place is amazing for the value.

This guesthouse immediately caught my eye when I was browsing accommodations. My friends and I chose the 'Bahar' room, which perfectly matched our aesthetic preferences. It's genuinely beautiful, featuring a bright, airy window. The entire guesthouse also boasts a wonderful ethnic charm. **Cleanliness:** Spotless. We arrived quite early, and a staff member was still diligently sanitizing the room. **Service:** Excellent. The owner was incredibly kind and gracious, and communication was very smooth. They even helped us with our luggage. **Location:** There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. It's also very conveniently located close to the Old City and the Gaotai Dwellings. **Facilities:** Excellent. It seems guests can even use the kitchen to cook here.

The stay experience exceeded expectations. Fortunately, the room type was upgraded for free. The space is wide and comfortable, and the view is excellent. Pushing the window is the vast grassland, the greenery is stretched, the scenery is cured, and the shots are all blockbuster movies. Butler Xiao Ai is intimate and thoughtful, responsive, responsive, and meticulous and warm. The environment of the homestay is clean and elegant, fully furnished, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. It is very comfortable whether it is a view or a rest. The overall cost-effective, convenient travel, a comfortable and unforgettable living, highly recommended, will choose here next time.

The room was great, perfect for stargazing. The service was excellent; they came to clean the ceiling glass immediately when requested. The surroundings were beautiful, with the campsite full of purple flax flowers, especially stunning at sunset and for stargazing. It's also conveniently close to the scenic area. I loved it! 😘

I stayed one night at the Togelun Xia Mu Gaodi Stargazing Camp, and it was a truly fantastic experience, definitely five stars! There's also an adorable Golden Retriever named 'Niangao' (Rice Cake). From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptionally thoughtful. The staff proactively helped us with our luggage to our room and patiently explained the room facilities. They also reminded us of the best times to see the 'golden mountains' (sunlit peaks) and for stargazing, and even arranged a Tajik home visit – very considerate. The room amenities were also a pleasant surprise. There was a Yuewell nasal oxygen concentrator and underfloor heating, so it wasn't cold at all at night. The bathroom featured a Jomoo wet/dry separation design, and the toiletries were from Chando, a well-known domestic brand that felt reliable. The most delightful surprise was that the tents and outdoor furniture were all from Mobigarden, ensuring brand consistency and a premium feel. Overall, the facilities are complete, the service is warm, and the attention to detail is excellent. I was very satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it!

The hotel's dining is excellent; breakfast is abundant and the buffet is great value for money, offering a variety of dishes including fish and meat, making it very convenient for families to dine in the hotel. It's clean and delicious. The parking lot is very convenient for self-driving guests. Other amenities include a laundry room, children's play area, and a souvenir shop with local handicrafts – all daily necessities are available. GGuest UserIf you’re looking for an unforgettable stay that combines the beauty of nature with five-star comfort, look no further than Shire Stargazing Ultimate Glamping. They have truly perfected the meaning of glamping (glamorous + camping) in every single way. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s hospitality and service were not just comparable to world-class 5-star hotels in many ways, they exceeded them. As a non-Chinese speaking guest, I was a little nervous at first, but the team went above and beyond to make me feel completely at ease. Their cheerful smiles and genuine warmth were so heartwarming. What touched me the most? They constantly checked on my fiancée, who is vegetarian, making sure she had wonderful options at every meal. Seeing that level of care for her meant the world to me. They even carried my heavy luggage to the room❤️ Activities (both paid and free): They have horseback riding with the on-site coach – highly recommend (yes, it's a paid service). For free activities, there’s a giant swing (reminiscent of the one in Kalajun Grassland), archery, and the most beautiful, calm animals: two incredibly cute lambs, a cow, several horses, and the sweetest little dog who will greet you. If you’re nervous around animals, don’t worry – they are the chillest, calmest creatures and will only approach if you call them. Food: 10/10. My fiancée said it was the best meal she had in all of Xinjiang. Cooked by the wonderful Ah Po and Ah Gong, every dish felt like a loving home-cooked meal made by grandparents. There’s also an adorable cafe hut (though we didn’t get coffee – we were too busy being in awe of everything around us). Room standards: This is where they truly shine. Air conditioning, heater, soft comfy bed, overhead curtains to open or close for stargazing, fridge, hairdryer, lighted mirror, heated toilet – and spotlessly clean. We slept like a baby. And finally… stargazing. This is exactly why I chose this place. We stayed up until 3 AM, completely mesmerized by a sky full of stars like I’ve never seen before. I’ll let the photos I uploaded do the talking. 😁 (I have added the settings I used on iPhone to take the photos, bring a stand and on night mode:30s with exposure adjustment and ProRAW turned on) Thank you, Shire Stargazing Ultimate Glamping, for giving us a truly magical experience. We can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend all couples and families to come here

JJill CassandraA Hidden Gem That Feels Like Coming Home Tucked away in the embrace of raw, untouched nature, MuseNomad Retreat is the kind of place that feels almost too beautiful to be real — like stepping into a postcard. Yet behind the picture-perfect setting is something even more special: the kind of warmth and care that turns a stay into a memory. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The owners go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at ease. One gesture I’ll never forget — I was rushing for a tour and hadn’t managed to press my clothes. Though there’s a laundry room available, the owner personally helped me iron them, refusing any payment. That small act of kindness stayed with me. We’ve stayed in many retreats claiming to offer luxury, but this place redefines what true luxury means. Here, you pay a 3-star rate and receive a 5-star experience in comfort, sincerity, and service. The rooms are cleaned daily with meticulous attention to detail — we were even touched to find our own tea and coffee sachets neatly arranged by housekeeping. Meals were another highlight. The food has that unmistakable home-cooked feel — warm, nourishing, made with care. When they learned I don’t eat beef or mutton, the kitchen prepared special dishes just for me, without a fuss. That kind of consideration is rare and deeply appreciated. And how could I forget Tian Tian — the gentle, lovable golden retriever who quietly added to the homey atmosphere. Her presence made the stay even more special, like having a sweet companion always nearby. MuseNomad Retreat isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to truly rest. Of all the accommodations we’ve experienced across our travels, this one touched us the most. As our three nights came to a close, I felt a genuine sadness — a quiet wish that we could stay just a little longer. If you’re looking for a restful, heartfelt escape where nature, comfort, and kindness meet, this is the place. MuseNomad Retreat is not just somewhere we stayed — it’s somewhere we’ll remember fondly, and miss dearly.

GGuest UserI had such a wonderful stay here and truly want to thank all of the staff for making my trip so special. First of all, the hospitality was beyond amazing. As a foreigner who cannot speak Chinese at all, I was honestly a little nervous at first. However, every staff member tried their best to help and welcome me warmly, which touched me deeply. I would especially like to thank a staff member named Yi. She was the only person who could communicate with me fluently in English, and she helped me with absolutely everything during my stay. Because of her kindness, I never once felt uncomfortable or isolated here despite the language barrier. I would honestly give her 10000/100! The accommodation itself was also excellent. The room was very clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed me to rest perfectly every night. Another thing I loved was the variety of activities offered here. Everything was amazing , horseback riding, delicious hot pot meals, and even professional photography sessions. It was my first time riding a horse, so I felt a little nervous at the beginning, but the staff took such good care of me and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience. Most importantly, I was deeply impressed by the culture here. It felt so warm and heartfelt. I truly love your culture. At night, there was a campfire gathering where local staff sang songs and danced together. It was such a joyful and unforgettable experience for me. In conclusion, if I ever visit Xinjiang again, I will definitely come back and stay here. Thank you so much to every staff member for your hard work and kindness. You made me genuinely happy throughout my entire stay.

Yy3nch1ngWe booked the guest rooms, which are actually a “盲盒” concept where you get whichever room is available upon check-in. Luckily, we were upgraded to wooden cabins with two rooms each. Since I booked 3 rooms, they arranged 2 wooden cabins for us. Each cabin came with two independent bedrooms with attached bathrooms, plus a shared living room. We absolutely loved it because we could gather and spend time together in the living room. We even had steamboat there one evening, which made the stay feel extra cozy, lovely, and convenient. There was also a huge open area in front of the cabins, but unfortunately the wind during our stay was too strong for us to sit outside. In the evening, sheep were grazing right outside our unit. On good weather days, you can even see Sayram Lake and the snow mountains directly from the cabin, which was really beautiful. The cabins are spread across a large area, so you do need to walk to your unit, but the pathways are properly paved and easy to walk on. Our cabin was about 200m from the car park. Special shoutout to the staff, Hemu and Dan Ni Er, who were extremely helpful. They used their small transport buggy to help move our luggage during check-in and check-out. Since we were travelling with elderly family members who had difficulty walking, they also kindly gave them rides to and from the cabin, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommended for those looking for a different and more memorable experience compared to a normal hotel stay.

SSoulful Traveler 心靈行旅# Shanshan Kumtag Desert Luxury Hotel: A Tender Secret in the Deep Desert The desert is lonely, but at this luxury hotel on the edge of the Kumtag Desert in Shanshan, that solitude becomes a poetic experience. Golden sand dunes undulate silently, like the breath of the earth. Here, time slows to a crawl, and the world becomes nothing but the desert, the starry sky, and the throbbing of the soul. The tents, nestled in the desert, look like an ancient caravan camp from afar, but upon closer inspection, the interior reveals a warm and luxurious atmosphere. Soft carpets and understated yet sophisticated lighting create a perfect blend of desolation and comfort. In the evening, we soaked in the hot water in the open-air bath, watching the sunset paint the dunes a rouge hue. In that moment, it felt as if the entire desert whispered to us. Dinner that evening was a feast we could never have imagined. The lamb short ribs, simmered for 36 hours, are tender yet not mushy. The tendon is crisp, and the aroma of ginger and chili dances on the tongue. The ox knee is soft and flavorful, and the rich tomato sauce is like a love poem from the Western Regions. The spiced aroma of the flatbreads and roast chicken carries the flavors of merchants and travelers from thousands of years ago. I can't help but wonder if in ancient tents, kings, princes, and generals sat together, drinking tea, eating meat, and discussing the country. After dinner, we drank tea under the stars. The cool desert breeze blew against our faces, but we didn't feel cold. The stars in the sky, distant yet close, seemed like the most gentle gaze on travelers. That night, the desert was no longer empty, but filled with our dreams and romance.

GGuest UserAlthough this trip was short, I stayed in this B&B with complete facilities, warm rooms, and a very favorite decoration style. It was very comfortable to live there. The courtyard is full of flowers and plants, and the environment is elegant! I am very picky about the hygiene of the room. The room in this B&B is clean and tidy, the sheets and quilt covers are as white as new, without any odor, the toiletries are complete, the mirror in the bathroom is very shiny, and there are no water stains or foreign objects on the washbasin. I am very satisfied! The boss is very nice and the breakfast is very rich and comfortable! I returned to the B&B exhausted. The owner cooked the food himself in the evening and I really liked the taste of the dishes. Compared with the B&Bs I stayed in elsewhere, his home-cooked dishes were the best. I hope I will stay in this B&B again if I have the chance to come to Nalati again!

They upgraded us to a family room, and there were so many animals – we fed lambs, bunnies, and even saw peacocks and camels. There was a bonfire party in the evening too. The overall environment is lovely, and the bathroom facilities are great. The best part is the owner, she's incredibly thoughtful. Plus, they have a chef from Xinjiang who cooks amazing food. It really felt like a one-stop-shop for fun. The kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave! We can't wait to come back!

GGuest UserThis stay experience is perfect! The moment you open the door, a fresh breath hits you in the face. The marble floor is as smooth as a mirror, the bedding is smooth as new, and even the decorative ornaments in the corners are spotless. Every detail shows the hotel's professionalism and care. The parking lot is well planned and the signs are clear, so you can easily find a space even if it is your first visit. Free parking tickets are also provided when you leave. The biggest surprise was the breakfast session, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, the freshly cooked noodle soup was fresh and rich, the freshly baked bread was soft and sweet, and the freshly ground coffee was fragrant. You could feel the chef's superb cooking skills in every bite. From the environment to the service, it's impeccable. Next time I come here on a business trip, this hotel will definitely be my best choice!
