Pet-friendly Hotels in Lapland, Finland

Staying here was a very unique experience. Whilst, during our 2 night visit, we didn't get to see the northern lights, we still enjoyed our stay specifically the glass igloo on the west village, the buffet breakfast, and just walking around the village. The dinner service can be improved as we noticed that if you dine in at a much later time let's say after 6pm the service can be slow due to the staff:customers ratio. To avoid this, we dined in at 5:30pm.

We really liked it. From the friendly, informative reception (we felt very welcome) to the check out. The location of the hotel is very good, as the pedestrian zone is just around the corner. One small criticism is that two or three things (e.g. rice pudding) in the extensive and very good breakfast should have been replenished more quickly. (We had breakfast between 8 and 9 a.m.)

My daughter and I had a great summer at Santa Claus Holiday Village. She described it as ”the most magical place” she has ever been in. Even though a lot of things were closed due to the low seasons, the staff's service and friendliness made up everything. Thank you!

Excellent location, within 10 minutes walk to nearby supermarkets and bars. Bus stop for taking buses to Santa Claus Village and Railway Station is also nearby. Right next to the hotel there’s Beyond Arctic Adventures where we booked our Northern Lights Tour. Breakfast buffet wasn’t a huge spread but still a pretty good selection overall. No hairdryer in our room, and the heater wasn’t really working. There’s a shared kitchen as well so we were able to cook our own meals.

The room is large and clean, 8 minutes walk from the train station, there is a sauna on the second floor, the kitchen is also very large, there is a drink milk butter in the refrigerator for free, there are not many people staying, the outdoor temperature is -28 degrees

The resort hotel in Surrey Hills has large rooms and a sauna, which is very convenient for your own operation. The balcony of the room was facing a small wood, and the scenery after the heavy snow was beautiful. In addition to Finnish and English, there are Japanese in the hotel. No wonder there are many Japanese tourists here, but most of them are middle-aged and elderly. After the Spring Festival, I made a lap in Lapland. There are only few Chinese in Surrey. The ski area here is also very empty, but the snow quality is first-rate.

I didn’t expect to be able to book a trip to the Glass House using Ctrip. I happened to encounter the aurora at night in the glass house. It was really wonderful to watch the aurora while lying on the bed. Meals are included in the hotel, which basically includes three meals a day. All you need to do here is enjoy it. Romantic life in Northern Europe.

The front desk was in a big house and arranged a lot of Christmas things. Just opened the door of the room, there will be a smell of wood, and then there is no, I feel that the bathroom is very clean, that is, the bath is limited to 13 minutes, there is not much hot water, so I did not wash my hair for two nights. The bacon for breakfast was delicious, the surrounding environment was very good, by the sea, and there was a small forest. I feel that Kemi is not big, there are not many people, I like it very much. There is a supermarket nearby, and then walk around, there are many restaurants on the beach. The cathedral is very stuffy. The gem museum didn't see the gem, and the square in front was a flea market.

Room is a bit small but all is good. Breakfast is okay, buffet style breakfast. A long walk from city center to the hotel, it would be a long miserable walk if you are carrying a suitcase on the snowy ground. Staff service is ok.

Across the road is the main street of Rorovaniemi with supermarkets and restaurants. Many local tours can also gather in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Rich breakfast options The room size is OK. You can put 2 suitcases at the same time, but the bed is too small (are all beds in Europe like this?). Girls can sleep well, but boys with a height of 180cm will have their feet outside the bed.
