I saw some negative reviews online and was a bit worried, but my actual stay was a pleasant surprise! The room was generally very clean and had everything I needed. Getting a private bathroom for this price is fantastic, as I'm getting older and hostels just don't cut it anymore. I accidentally booked a smoking room, but there was no smell of smoke, and the room even had an air purifier. All the equipment worked well. They provided a full set of toiletries, including shower gel and disposable slippers. The front desk service was also good, though not absolutely perfect (for example, the cups were dirty). Still, I was genuinely impressed – excellent value for money!

房間很大很新，衞生間是分離式的，馬桶間單獨配了小洗手池。很乾凈，床鋪也很舒服。缺點是窗户不能打開，另外貼了一層膜看不到外面的風景，會有點壓抑。酒店是狗狗友好酒店，有很多狗狗，有的脾氣不好的很吵鬧，不喜歡狗的建議不要定。另外即便酒店衞生已經非常好了，但是有時候還是會有狗味兒。

The location is great, right near Karasuma Station. The hotel itself is new and stylishly designed. They even have a record player in the room! For this price, it's excellent value for money. The hotel's location makes it convenient to get anywhere, and there are many charming Kyoto-style neighborhoods nearby. I especially loved the breakfast spots around there. The staff were also very enthusiastic. A really good experience overall.

Location was not the best but for the price point it’s valued good … supermarket is closed by and you can and will need to used the buses in and out to the hotel.

Wash basin was too small in size so bit inconvenient. Water would get accumulated in the basin and would take time to clear. Kitchen was very good. Tv size was excellent. We would suggest property owner to have an outside light also as in the night upon returning tit looks very dark

We stayed with four adults and two dogs. We checked in late, so we were able to check in by ourselves. It was spacious and comfortable! There were two beds on the first floor and three beds and two futons on the second floor. Almost everything we needed was provided, and the full-length mirror in the entrance was very convenient. It's a renovated old house, but it's a very stylish space. The first floor was a bit cold because of the open ceiling, which is a bit of a downside, but we had a very comfortable stay.

When I booked this hotel, there were no reviews or room photos, only a photo of a small courtyard. I decided to book it because the atmosphere was the Japanese courtyard I liked. But when I actually arrived, I found that it was completely different from what I imagined. It was actually an old house I lived in. It was very old and had two floors. The courtyard was very small and could be ignored. This price is suitable for multiple people to stay in, but it is not cost-effective for our family of three to stay there. We were quite disappointed.
