The hotel is freshly renovated, the rooms are spacious and have the modern interior design, the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is the only thing to be improved.
The room was nice and cosy but not that big. Inside there was a bed, two lamps, a table with a chair, and a fully equipped bathroom (including hairdryer, shampoo, towels, toilet paper and two glasses). The receptionist said the cold tap water is drinkable, tested, approved. The location is really nice: the hotel is near train and bus stations, which makes it comfortable to get to even at night. A lot of public transport opportunities available. McDonald's right next to the building :) The staff was nice and spoke multiple languages. The only disadvantage was the lonely silverfish found early in the morning in the bathroom. Overall the stay was great, we enjoyed it!
A perfect little gem in the heart of Vilnius Old Town!
We stayed at Artagonist for 3 nights in November 2025 and it instantly became one of my favourite boutique hotels in the Baltics.
Literally 2 minutes’ walk from Cathedral Square and Pilies Street, yet tucked away on a quiet side street (Pilies g. 34), so no noise at night. You step outside and you’re already surrounded by the most beautiful parts of the UNESCO-listed Old Town – Gates of Dawn, Town Hall, Užupis, and dozens of cozy cafés are all within 5-10 minutes on foot. Perfect base if you want to explore Vilnius without ever needing public transport.
Design & Vibe – wow factor
The name says it all: this is an “art hotel” and every corner feels like a curated gallery. The interior is brand-new modern with a playful twist – hand-painted murals, lithographs by famous Lithuanian artists, sculptural lighting, velvet sofas, and lots of dark green and mustard tones. It feels luxurious but not stuffy; more like staying inside a very stylish friend’s home.
We arrived late amidst a cold wet night. The night duty staff was extremely helpful and checked us in with minimum fuss. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!
The hotel is right by the airport, a 5-minute walk away, making it ideal for those catching early morning flights. The hotel has a restaurant that primarily serves pizza and other dishes, which are quite good. The breakfast is decent, but it's pretty standard across Europe, so don't expect too much; it's pretty standard. Although close to the road, it's quite quiet with the windows closed.
It's easy and accessible, ideal if you're not in the city centre, especially if you're coming by car. The room is simple, ideal for a few days. Bed is comfortable. Clean and well maintained. The restaurant downstairs is also good. Breakfast is super.
The hotel is in a prime location, the room is elegantly designed, the space is practical and spacious, the bedding is very clean and comfortable, especially the bed is very comfortable to sleep on, and the coffee from the coffee machine tastes very good. Finally, I want to say that the front desk service is absolutely super five-star, especially thanks to the tall blond handsome guy for his help. Because there was a problem with the bank card mobile phone binding, we needed to go to the station to buy tickets from Vilnius to Riga. After he knew it, he took the initiative to help us buy the next day's ticket on the computer in the back lobby. The next day, he helped us call a very cheap taxi on bolt to the bus station. Knowing that we had to pay in cash, he also kindly changed 10 euros for us, fearing that if the driver said there was no change for us, we would have to pay more. All this was his proactive help, everything was for the benefit of the guests, making us feel very warm and beautiful! Absolutely recommended!!!
“+” : good gym, clean rooms, good breakfast; tea and coffee in room;
“-“ : hairdryers very old(not working properly), no shower caps, no toothpaste, no nothing with bath things (was only one small bottle of shampoo and one hand soak); no shoes (to go to the pool) or walk inside - not convinient. The pool rooms should be seperated i think- kids and adults, its anoying to come to relax and hear only children screaming, swiming and so on; realy not for relax place.
About rooms service - i stayed 2 nights, and nobody came to check, to clean, or to restore my water bottles, coffee, tea and so on.
If I come to hotel, and pay more than 100 eur for night - i would like to have things in bedroom, in bathroom, cause for example I travel all around the world, so I dont travel with a lot of stuffs with me, so all these casualy used things should be included in room service. And if its says - spa, pools, relax zone- i would like to get relax and quiet place.
So for me - this price for night should be max 30 eur in this hotel, cause now its very overpriced, just not worth it, in Vilnius are more cheaper hotels with better services which includes all these things.
