I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Nepal. The quality exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after long days of exploring. The location is absolutely fantastic – right in the city center, which made it incredibly convenient to walk around and shop for local goods in town. What I particularly loved was the proximity to several Chinese restaurants nearby, all offering delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff truly made our experience special. They were friendly. They were kind enough to store our luggage while we went on our EBC trek.

I stayed at Kusum Airport Hotel, Kathmandu 🇳🇵 for 3 nights (April 1st – April 4th), and overall it was a really good experience. The location is very convenient, especially for travelers since it’s close to the airport ✈️. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect to relax after a long day. What I enjoyed the most was the food — very tasty and satisfying, definitely something I looked forward to every day. A very special thanks to Sachin Thapa 👏 He was honestly one of the best parts of my stay. Always welcoming with a smile, very respectful, and gave excellent service every time. He made sure everything was smooth and comfortable, and his positive attitude really stood out. Staff like him make a place feel more than just a hotel. The only thing that needs improvement is the bathroom, which wasn’t up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel. Other than that, everything else was great — good service, nice atmosphere, and a comfortable stay overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu, especially if you want a convenient location and good food 👍

Bhaktapur was my favorite place in Nepal, and staying at this hotel made my stay even more enjoyable. 1. This was the best night I slept in Nepal. Previously, in Kathmandu, the area near the Big Stupa was very noisy at night, and in Pharping and Lumbini, there were many animal noises. This hotel was quiet despite being in a noisy area; except for the crowing of roosters in the morning, it was very peaceful. 2. It's not far from any of the squares, about a 6-10 minute walk. 3. The interior and exterior were clean and tidy, and the shower water pressure in the bathroom was strong and hot, a huge improvement over my previous stays. 4. The breakfast was simple, but the carbohydrates, protein, and fruit were well-balanced, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In short, I will definitely stay here again if I go to Bhaktapur.

Sara's Backpackers Hotel is really OK. The location is practical, you can get to important places QUICKLY like the Pashupatinath Temple or the Garden of Dreams. The rooms are clean, but a bit simply furnished. WIFI IS free, but sometimes a bit slow. THE staff is super friendly and helps with everything, whether it's excursions or questions about the area. Breakfast is OK too, but not super special - just typical of the country. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, a nice view to relax. There are also bikes to rent, which is cool. A few things could be better, e.g. the beds are a bit hard and the showers could be more modern. Overall, though, it's good value for money. Would come back if I'm in the area! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The owner is very nice, and the hotel staff are also very welcoming. When it rained, they offered to hold an umbrella for us and call a taxi. They are very polite. The room was cleaned promptly and very cleanly. They also have Chinese food here, which is very delicious. Staying here feels like being at home.

The staff tried their best, but after we asked for tea, they were asked to do something else by someone else and forgot our request. The front desk staff also provided minimal information, not explaining how to get to the room or the breakfast system, so they weren't particularly friendly. With so many guests, it felt like they were focused on processing numbers rather than providing individual care, which was a bit disappointing. I wished for more of a spirit of hospitality. The breakfast was mostly Nepalese/Indian style, so it might not appeal to everyone, but overall it was delicious.

First of all, I'd like to thank the manager, Kamal. I initially canceled my reservation due to riots in Kathmandu, but then rebooked after hearing that the city was beginning to calm down. He always provided me with the latest information and made excellent arrangements after the rebooking. The rooms were spacious, connecting, and had a bathtub. The hot water was powerful and the air conditioning was also excellent. This type of room was the only one with a refrigerator. However, the noise from the restaurant above was very loud on the sixth floor, so I recommend staying on the fifth floor or lower. The beds were available in soft double and firm single sizes. It's a matter of preference, but I found the softer ones bothersome, like the person next to me tossing and turning. If you want a good night's sleep, it's better to request a twin room. There's a water dispenser in the hallway, so you can refill your water as often as you like using the bottles in your room. Most of the reception staff spoke English and were very helpful and provided a variety of information. However, I did feel that hospitality varied depending on the person. There is a laundry service, but the hotel charges per item, so I recommend using one of the many nearby shops that cost 200 rupees per kilo. The rooftop terrace restaurant has a great view and the food is delicious. However, I'm not a big fan of the spices used in Nepalese food, so I found Indian curry to be better. The breakfast buffet 🍽 was slightly changed every day and was delicious. The restaurant staff were also very hospitable and lovely. The location is great, just south of Thamel. It's within walking distance of Durbar Square and Asain Market, and there are convenience stores, markets, and restaurants nearby, so it was a very convenient location. For this price, it's of this quality. I'm sure there are many other options, but if we come again, we'll definitely book here!

Thanks to the tour groups overbooking the west wing I was put into a twin suite room and discovered room service at the Dalai La. Having had weeks of Dahl and rice and noodles, it was great to binge on pizza and burgers. Internet was a bit intermittent on the 5th floor but the room is quieter than those facing the courtyard in the west wing.

Royal Atlantic Home was a very nice hotel. We had a room in the 4th floor with a balcony that was very nice to sit there and have your breakfast or coffee. Our stay was including a basic breakfast with coffee. The people working in the hotel were very helpful and polite. They helped us with our luggage as there is not a lift and they answered all of our questions. They even helped us with our city tour and it was amazing. Noris, our driver was very good! He took us 2 full days around kathmandu and he was waiting patiently always. Thank you for everything!

GGuest UserWe had booked three nights but could only arrive on the third night. I knew I would lose the cost of the first two nights but when it came to check out, I was asked to pay for the three nights, despite having already paid through Trip.com. Fortunately, I had a Nepali friend come to collect us and he spoke with their head office. If he had not been there it would have been very difficult, despite showing the money taken from my bank. This was the second time for this to happen in Nepal when booking through Trip; already paid but being asked to pay again.. Our room had no wi-fi, no hot water and only one seat to sit on outside. The place looked in poor condition, so we were not sorry to only spend one night there.

てつイグThe staff were wonderful and the view was amazing. I had a great time throughout my stay. There are many hotels in Nagarkot with mountain views, but by mountain view I mean a view of the nearby mountains. However, this hotel has Himalayan views, with all rooms facing the Himalayas. The difference is huge! As far as I've seen, this hotel and the two on either side offer a completely open Himalayan view. Of course, other hotels also offer Himalayan views if you go up to the rooftop, but being able to sit on a chair on your room's balcony and gaze out at the Himalayas while sipping coffee is a unique experience. It was truly a wonderful stay! The restaurant was also delicious. I understand that tastes vary, but I thought the seasoning was just right—not too spicy or too strong. They really listened to your preferences, so if you let them know, they'll be able to tailor it to your taste. Breakfast is continental unless the hotel is fully booked. Only then does it switch to buffet style. The hot water power is fine. There's air conditioning, so it's no problem whether it's cold or hot. There's no refrigerator, but they can store it in the kitchen. The following are a few minor concerns, but the other elements were so excellent that they didn't seem like a big deal!❣️ I'm truly grateful to the hospitable staff.😊 <Cons> ・The bed is soft, so if you're staying in a double room, you might notice your partner tossing and turning.
