This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images!
We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it!
The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch.
Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute.
To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats.
What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

Self-driving to Hubei, found this hotel on Trip.com , the location is in the city center, parking is very convenient, the hotel check-in is very fast, the little girls at the front desk are warm, especially the little girl's work attitude is focused professional enthusiasm, service quality and service awareness are very high, Knowing that we are traveling to Hubei for the first time, we are very intimate to help us plan the attractions and routes of the itinerary, and the service staff on the floor are thoughtful. May your hotel business be prosperous, and may the little girl have a bright future.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was fresh. The soundproofing was much better than expected (barely heard any planes taking off or landing). There's a free shuttle bus, which was punctual and efficient. From the lobby to the room, every staff member I encountered smiled and greeted me proactively. During my stay, Ms. Allie from guest relations was very attentive, informing me about the hotel's facilities and helping me keep an eye on my flight status. The service was truly outstanding! It's really impressive to maintain such a high standard of service at an airport hotel, which is typically a high-turnover environment.

The location is great, right next to Wanda Plaza and diagonally opposite the Three Gorges Tourist Center, making it very convenient for tours to the Three Gorges. The room itself was pretty good, up to Crown Plaza standards, but some details were a bit perplexing. For example, the teacups were IKEA brand, and the TV remote control's back panel was missing. I stayed for two days and went swimming twice. The changing room was consistently very damp, with water all over the floor. Even the lockers were damp, damaged, moldy, and had an odor.

Our stay at Wanda Reign Wuhan was absolutely fantastic – a definite five-star experience!
The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to East Lake, offering breathtaking lake views from the Executive Lounge in a quiet and comfortable setting. It's located right in the heart of Chu River Han Street, so stepping out means immediate access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. It's especially ideal for families with children, being very close to the Hubei Provincial Museum and Wuhan University. The short travel time makes outings with kids easy and stress-free. Both subway and taxi access are incredibly convenient.
The hardware is standard five-star luxury. The lobby features a grand and stylish New Chinese decor. Our room was spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering great light and views – from our specific room type, we had a direct view of Han Street from a high floor. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were well-designed with a separate wet and dry area. The room was clean, odor-free, and had excellent soundproofing. The fitness center and swimming pool were also great, and they even had a sauna and soaking pools.
The Executive Lounge experience was also top-notch – quiet, not crowded, and with a great atmosphere. The afternoon tea pastries and drinks were both visually appealing and delicious. While the evening 'happy hour' selection wasn't huge, it included snacks, hot dishes, and beverages, making for a perfect relaxing break. The executive floor benefits offer great value for money.
The biggest surprise was the butler service – a huge shout-out to Silvia, our Executive Floor Butler! Her service was professional and incredibly warm. She was meticulous in her communication before and after check-in, greeted us warmly upon arrival, patiently explained the hotel and lounge benefits, and even proactively helped us plan our sightseeing route.
Throughout our stay, she was always responsive to our needs and handled everything efficiently. She was polite and courteous, with a perfect balance in her service, paying attention to every detail, which made us feel incredibly comfortable. We truly experienced the attentive and distinguished care of high-end butler service.
The central location, luxurious amenities, and fantastic Executive Lounge were all impeccable, and combined with Silvia's personalized warm service, our family stay was simply perfect. We will definitely choose Wanda Reign again on our next visit to Wuhan. I highly recommend families with children book an executive floor room and ask for Butler Silvia – it's a truly five-star experience.

This was my first time staying in a hot spring family room, and it was absolutely fantastic! The hot spring at this hotel was excellent, looked quite clean, and wasn't too crowded. The hotel itself is relatively new. Both breakfast and lunch were superb. I'll definitely bring my child back to stay here again. The hotel staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Very satisfied, and I've already recommended it to several people.

Upon checking into the hotel, I realized I had two pieces of clothing with me that urgently needed washing, and I was worried I wouldn't have time to wash them before heading out the next morning. Xiao Long, the receptionist, understood my situation and immediately helped coordinate.
To my surprise, the clothes were delivered to my room by 7 or 8 pm. Xiao Long's efficiency perfectly solved my big problem, leaving me incredibly grateful. I had thought the time pressure would cause delays, but Xiao Long's actions provided a wonderfully satisfactory solution. I sincerely commend Xiao Long's thoughtful service; having such staff at the Jia Hua Hotel is undoubtedly a blessing for every guest, adding a bright touch to my stay!

The night view from high up is absolutely stunning; the view outside the window at night is truly beautiful. The service is thoughtful, and the cleanliness is impeccable, with all staff members wearing a smile. The facilities are smart and considerate, like the unexpected and thoughtful takeaway delivery box collection point. The location is convenient, close to the Hubei Provincial Museum and Yellow Crane Tower, with easy access to transportation. Metro Line 4's Exit J is seamlessly connected. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone; it's the top choice when visiting Wuhan!

GGuest UserThe 270-degree river view room offers an unbeatable view. There's no need to splurge on an executive floor; even mid-level floors provide a nice view of the greenery. Watching the light show from 7-10 PM while enjoying a bubble bath is pure bliss! It's super close to Huangpi South Road, and I highly recommend staying here when visiting Wuhan. The only minor issue is that the riverside road can be a bit congested during peak hours, but booking a taxi in advance easily solves that problem, especially given the hotel's excellent location. The heated pool and 24-hour gym are a lifesaver after indulging in some carbs!
MMeimeimeimeiI visited Wuhan with my child during the May Day holiday and chose the Sheraton Grand Wuhan Hankou Hotel. Overall, I was extremely satisfied; it's perfect for families traveling with kids.
The hotel's location is very convenient, right in the heart of the Hankou CBD. You can access Metro Lines 2 and 3 right outside, making it quick to get to popular attractions like Jianghan Road, Hankou Beach, and Yellow Crane Tower by taxi or subway.
The room was quite spacious with good natural light and views. It was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. They proactively provided children's slippers and toothbrushes, showing excellent attention to detail. The soundproofing in the room was great, so we weren't disturbed.
Breakfast offered a rich variety, including authentic Wuhan specialties like hot dry noodles and Mianwo, all of which tasted delicious.
Special shout-outs go to Marina from guest services, Mia Zhang from the executive lounge, and the male attendant (whose name I didn't catch) who helped change our bedding on the first night. Their service was truly impressive, and I hope to stay here again.

Check-In Experience
Upon arrival, there was a noticeable queue at the lobby. The solo staff member did not promptly call for assistance, leading to guest dissatisfaction when a second line was eventually opened.
Room Condition
The initial room had a musky sandalwood-like odor, possibly from previous guests using spa amenities or smoking. I was offered two alternative rooms and chose the first one, but the smell persisted, likely due to the central air conditioning. The manager on duty provided fruits and snacks as a gesture of goodwill.
Air Conditioning
Both my friend and I found the air conditioning insufficiently cool, waking up sweaty during the night.
Elevator System & Security
The hotel employs a two-lift system: one from the ground floor to the 23rd-floor lobby, and another from there to the guest rooms. This setup raises security concerns. For instance, I encountered a man lingering in the lift without a key card, which was unsettling.
Food Delivery Process
The food delivery process is inconvenient. Deliveries are left on a table at a remote corner of the ground floor, requiring guests to navigate the two-lift system to retrieve their orders.
Laundry Service
On a positive note, the hotel offers a reliable laundry service with same-day pickup if requested before 5:30 PM, which is convenient for travelers packing light.
Overall Impression
While the hotel has commendable services, improvements in staff communication, room air quality, security measures, and food delivery logistics would enhance the guest experience.
OobaachanExecutive Lounge Benefits: You can completely ignore the weather outside; it's perfectly fine to stay in the hotel all day, with food and drinks available morning and evening.
Facilities: Met expectations.
Cleanliness: As always, no issues.
Environment: Right next to MixC, and just a short walk further to Baodao Park. Plenty of upscale dining options, and even more small, local eateries.

XXiaosuohemeishibujiatang🌈I just had a perfect vacation, I want to stay at a super famous hotel
🏨This famous hotel is located with the best view of Muyu and convenient transportation. There are many restaurants and shopping places around, 10 minutes' drive away.
As soon as you walk into the hotel, you are attracted by its decoration, and every detail reveals high quality.
The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was comfortable, making me feel like home.
What surprised me the most was the observation deck, which has an excellent view. The facilities are complete and the service is attentive, allowing me to completely relax during my busy trip.
In addition, the hotel also provided a rich customized breakfast, which was a feast for me.
All in all, this hotel left a deep impression on me and I highly recommend it to everyone!
If you also want to experience a combination of luxury and comfort, then come to this hotel!
Trust me, you will love it here! 💕

CCaoxiaobaodeshijiezhilvFacilities: This is a new hotel opening in 2025, so all the facilities are brand new. Two minor issues: the toilet isn't a smart toilet, and the TV screen mirroring kept disconnecting.
Cleanliness: Excellent, both the room itself and the housekeeping were very good.
Environment: Overall good. It's a newly developed area with not many amenities nearby, about 5-6 kilometers from the city center.
Service: Generally okay, but a few things stood out: When checking in, the front desk staff initially blurted out that I had only booked 1 night, when it was clearly 3 nights. They later corrected themselves, saying they misread it, so it wasn't a big deal. The breakfast was mediocre, with too few options. The staff even started clearing away dishes before I had finished eating, telling me to go get more myself, which was a very poor experience.
Yun Ting Chinese Restaurant 12% off: I didn't use the discount voucher. Instead, I used a set meal from Dianping for 2-3 people for 288 yuan. It actually fed 4 people very well. Highly recommended, the taste was also excellent. This was the most satisfying dining experience I had at the hotel.
Buffet dinner 198 yuan/person after discount (original price 368 yuan/person) 1 portion/day: Did not experience this.
Spa: This isn't operated by the hotel itself. I recall Westin usually has its own spa brand, but this hotel uses a third-party one. Overall, it was average, a 6 out of 10.

MmooncindyThis guesthouse met my expectations perfectly. After an exhausting day at Enshi Grand Canyon, all I wanted was to lie down, and this guesthouse is super close, just a few minutes' drive from the visitor center. The owner even came out to greet us, making it easy to spot the place. The room had an amazing view and was very bright. The sofa was really spacious, perfect for lounging around. The complimentary snacks and fruit were a pleasant surprise – I even tried the stinky dried tofu and had a good laugh. We pre-ordered dinner, which was home-style cooking. Enjoying the beautiful scenery with a little wine, isn't that what a good trip is all about? The family room was huge, well-equipped, clean, and had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Breakfast was also something to look forward to. My noodles were a bit salty, but I still polished them off! 😅 The housekeeper was always smiling, which made our stay very comfortable. I even took photos to praise them!

GGuest UserThis B&B experience was truly amazing, and I absolutely have to give it a thumbs-up!
Upon arrival, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains and rivers. It felt like I had stumbled into a paradise. In the distance, rolling hills shrouded in mist, while below, a gurgling stream gurgled, crystal clear. The air was filled with the delicate fragrance of plants and trees, and every breath was soothing.
The room at the B&B was also wonderful. It was warm and comfortable, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. Opening the curtains, the panoramic view of the mountains and rivers was breathtaking – a truly beautiful experience.
The owner was simple, warm, and attentive, making me feel incredibly warm from check-in to check-out. We dined at the B&B for several meals, all made with fresh local ingredients, brimming with home-cooked flavors. Finally, before leaving, the owner let me use the kitchen to make a stir-fried rice dish, even paying for it.
There are many fun places around. Whether it is strolling in the mountains or playing by the stream, you can completely relax your body and mind. My daughter and the boss's youngest son didn't want to leave after playing so much. In short, this B&B completely exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come again next time!

GGuest UserVery near Hongshan station, but exit D has no escalator; use exit E across the road. Room was of good size and clean. But our room was on a low level, with no view and facing the tennis court. Cars like to honk there, people noise and honking all day until about 10pm. A ‘5 star’ rating hotel with no customer service, door person just stood there not rendering help with luggage even it was 2 girls struggling with their luggage. Checking was slow, noisy, people cutting queue, the person who tried to check us in, did not know how to handle foreign passport so we had to wait twice to be served. Did not get into the room until after 3pm. Luggage storage was messy, didn’t not have a system, the old man asked for a China mobile number? In the end he just scribbled down our names on a piece of random paper, I had to take a photo of it just to be sure. From personal experience, this hotel is not foreign tourist friendly, there was a lot of workshops and conferences going on when we were there. There is nothing in the surrounding precinct. The only thing close is Hongshan Square station. Average breakfast and the pool and the gymnasium were located across the road from the hotel.
