Our stay was incredibly pleasant! From the moment we arrived, they quickly checked us in and helped with our luggage. Throughout our stay, any request was promptly addressed. Even before check-out, they thoughtfully reminded us to double-check our belongings. Every step was smooth and natural, with no stiff procedures, just a genuine warmth that made us feel well taken care of. Other hotel staff were also very friendly; the front desk patiently answered our questions and gave us local recommendations, and housekeeping service was very responsive, professional, and sincere. We felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time.

The hotel room was warm, and the shower water was fantastic. The bed and duvet were incredibly comfortable; as someone who usually struggles to sleep, I stayed at this hotel for two nights and slept for over 9 hours each night, waking up feeling great the next day. Breakfast was also excellent, and the hotel staff were very welcoming. The lobby environment was lovely too, with many beautiful young women coming to take photos every evening.

The second time I went there, Shuangquan Hotel was far better than Xiangyang Qiqu Hotel in terms of environment, facilities and service. It was a completely different experience. The service in all aspects was very considerate, and the hotel was very beautiful. There were moss landscapes and green plants everywhere, which was full of creativity. When I was dining in the hotel lobby, the front desk lady also brought mineral water! ! The small details were all in place! ! It was much more comfortable than the hotel I stayed in Xiangyang. I regretted my last trip. I still want to stay in this hotel three or four times! ! But there are some small suggestions. Can I add a small bed to the courtyard pool room? The small bed added later was really uncomfortable to sleep on. It was not comfortable at all. Sleeping was the most important thing. It should be improved. The bed in the parent-child twin room was too small. It was too easy to fall off when sleeping with one big and one small. It was not easy to merge them. One should be larger and one smaller, which would be more reasonable! !

The check in system was such a mess, we booked four rooms individually, but when I checked in, I got a room which had already checked in by my sister. I asked the front office to double check by using my name, but they insisted that they could NOT find my booking under my name. They only identified the booking by checking the booking confirmation number rather than by checking against the spelling of one's full name printed on the ID. The problem was solved in the end after I showed them my sister's room confirmation number, see how it ******, but I was not satifised with such a serious mistake that IHG group could encounter. Quite disappointed although the front office manager did apologize to me afterwards and gave the complimentary breakfast.
The room key card could not been placed together with my mobile phone, it was quite wired. I always travel to Beijing and other places, and it was the first time that the room key turned invalid when it stayed close to a mobile phone!
Interesting experience!

This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images!
We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it!
The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch.
Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute.
To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats.
What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

Our family traveled and stayed at R&F Wanda Realm Hotel in Jingzhou. The hotel is not far from the ancient city and is convenient for sightseeing. Miss Zhao, who received us at the front desk, was very enthusiastic. Seeing that we had a lot of luggage (there was also a wheelchair, and my 90-year-old mother was accompanying us), she asked the concierge to help deliver the luggage to the room. Thank you!
The double room we booked only had 2 breakfasts, so we asked Miss Zhao to help give one to the elderly. Miss Zhao helped apply for it quickly. Thank you Miss Zhao!
The hotel room was clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and good service. Great!
Recommend this hotel!
Huanggang Peninsula Hotel has a beautiful environment and a very good location. It is right next to Yiai Lake. It is also very convenient to travel. Next to it is the snack street. The breakfast is also very rich. Thank you to the lady at the front desk No. 002 for your warm service. I will come again next time~
There are so many things to complain about, I have to complain. The hotel is brand new and right next to Donghu University, but the lights in the central lobby are always off from day to night. It's pitch black even when you go to the bathroom in the basement fitness center. Especially at night, the lights aren't on. Is this to save energy?! Breakfast is only served from 7:00 to 9:00 AM, and it's Children's Day on the Dragon Boat Festival. Are they really that rushed?! Most meals are gone by 8:30 AM. 🙁 Except for the slightly better service in the fitness center, the rest of the service feels like I owe them money. Sigh, I won't be back! The room facilities are okay, but the water pressure in the shower is too low!

MM299050****## Review
**Ambiance:** Excellent.
**Service:** Outstanding! Absolutely impeccable, everyone was incredibly thoughtful.
**Cleanliness:** Spotless.
**Facilities:** The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable! We booked both the 180-degree and 270-degree executive rooms, and both were fantastic. The river view was lovely, and the panoramic views were superb. The shower had great water pressure.
**Executive Lounge Privileges:** Definitely worth it. The desserts in the lounge were exquisite and delicious, and the evening drinks were also very good.
**Breakfast:** Quite ordinary; I wouldn't recommend paying extra for it.
**Lunch:** We tried the Hong Kong-style buffet at Cui Xiang, which was pretty good and offered great value for money.
We also ordered their拌面 (mixed noodles) with fried egg and rice wine in our room, and it was unexpectedly delicious.
**Location:** Very convenient. Li Huangpo Road is right downstairs, and it's about a 1.2 km walk to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, so a taxi ride is very cheap. Getting to Yellow Crane Tower, Gude Temple, or the Provincial Museum takes about 25 minutes by taxi, costing around 16 RMB.
Overall, highly recommended! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I revisit Wuhan!
RredpandaaI usually like to save the best for last when writing, but for reviews, I'll cut straight to the chase.
We booked an Executive Suite primarily for the Executive Lounge access, but the lounge experience was so disappointing that we checked out after just one night. The room itself, however, was great.
Executive Lounge Happy Hour:
We arrived at six, and it was already packed. There was barely any food left. Since it was the Winter Solstice on Saturday, they had dumplings. No desserts, and the cold selection just had sandwiches and sushi. Some dishes were empty. We found a spot, and just as we were finishing up, another guest placed a dirty plate next to us. The whole lounge was so noisy; we left after less than half an hour. Compared to executive lounges at other hotels, this one was truly subpar. The last three pictures show some of the dishes from the executive lounge.
Facilities: The Executive Suite on the 19th floor was very spacious at 98 square meters, with two bathrooms. The living room had a sofa and a round table, and the bedroom was also large. The bathroom was equipped with mouthwash, and the living room had a capsule coffee machine, all very good. The view outside was also excellent.
Ambiance: The lobby was spacious and featured some old photos of Wuhan.
Service: The service was very good. The front desk staff specifically put the explanation of the executive floor benefits into an envelope for us.
Breakfast: The Executive Lounge doesn't offer breakfast, so we had to go to the restaurant on the second floor. However, the breakfast selection was quite extensive. The freshly made Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) was delicious. There were plenty of choices for desserts, fruits, drinks, and main courses, and enough seating at the tables.
However, the hotel was very slow to refund the deposit. We checked out on Saturday morning around 10 AM, but didn't receive the deposit until Sunday morning around 9 AM.
Overall, it's still a pretty good hotel; I'm just quite disappointed with the Executive Lounge. If I book again, I'll just opt for a standard room.
EExpatinChinaAmazing room, the pool was nice, easy check in and check out process, the tub was great! Amazing Breakfast, Amazing staff, Amazing experience. Good location to pharmacy, shops and other food eateries. 45-1 hour from Hankou Train station. I had no complaint except the elevator was a bit annoying having to get off then get on another. But the stay is 10/10 perfection. I would definitely recommend. I would definitely stay here again for sure!
GGuest UserThe room was spacious! The little details in the room were very touching, and the shower water pressure was superb. The cleaning lady refilled the mineral water bottle, and the front desk lady, Niu Xiaoliang, was very helpful. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym, and there was welcome fruit. I was very satisfied with my stay!

AAnonymous UserThis was my first stay at a Westin hotel under the Marriott umbrella in Yichang, and I absolutely loved it! The room was spotless and smelled fresh, making for a very pleasant check-in experience. The Westin Heavenly Bed lived up to its reputation – it was incredibly comfortable. I also enjoyed the greenway right outside the lobby, perfect for a walk or some exercise. I truly felt well-rested here. A special shout-out to Niki at the front desk for her warm and patient service. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Yichang!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is perfect, right next to tourist attractions, making dining and transportation incredibly convenient, saving a ton of time. The service was attentive. From the moment we got off the bus, a concierge was there to help with our luggage. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming, always smiling. The breakfast was varied, combining Chinese and Western cuisine, with both local specialties and Western pastries. The food was delicious and the ingredients were fresh, making it the perfect start to a wonderful day. Overall, this was an exceptionally good value, and the hotel's attention to detail was evident. I highly recommend it to everyone; you won't be disappointed!
11366718****The hotel boasts a convenient location with easy access to transportation, situated directly across from Airport Terminal 2, just a few minutes' walk away. Travelers arriving at Terminal 3 can show their hotel reservation for a complimentary shuttle ride to the hotel. The hotel offers parking, a fitness center, and an indoor swimming pool. The breakfast is light and palatable, and the front desk staff provides warm and attentive service.

RRemember SamuWhen you arrive at the concierge they don’t take your bags to your room, they just direct you and you have to find your own room which was a first for me. Secondly, they did not include any welcome message even on their TV to just assure that the room was reserved for me , additionally, they didn’t include any welcome gifts as small as some fruits or a drink, but any drink included was to be charged. These areas need improvement. At breakfast i found it odd that that they mix Pork sausages and chicken sausages in the same serving bowl, which made me not to eat as I don’t eat pork. May these be improved as I am a frequent visitor and would want to consider Intercontinental Hotel again.
GggggjdA wonderful B&B with a low-key yet stylish atmosphere. The parents and their son were the models, and the photos are stunning! The location is high, overlooking Muyu Town. The owner is friendly, the B&B is clean, and the entire house is smart. The restaurant is delicious, and you can sit by the infinity pool with a cup of free coffee and watch the clouds roll by all day without getting tired of it. After dinner, there's a bonfire, and the friendly owner provided corn and sweet potatoes, which were roasted over the fire and were delicious. I couldn't fault it! The room was also spotlessly clean, and the toilet paper provided was better than some four-star hotels. Don't worry!

DDaJay23Overall, it was a great experience. We got 3 rooms for our family of 6 w/ 2 kids on the 20th floor. This hotel is next to the river so the view is stunning. Overlooked the great Yangtze River. Night view was mesmerizing. All the skyscrapers lit up in sync around the city along side the river. Jaw dropping. We went in mid June and the river was flooding due to heavy rain. There's a big walk way next to the river where lots of people went to hang out even when it's flooding. Real cool. There's also a famous street similar to Beijing Road in Guangzhou a few blocks down. Forgot the name. There's an upscale modern mall called MixC 15 min taxi DD. We're from California and this mall is comparable to our socal South Coast. During summer flooding season, it may be an issue traveling to the other side of the bridge, so just keep that in mind. I gave it a 4 star for cleaniness because I expected our room to be a bit better. One of the rooms we stayed had this old, a bit smoky smell. I'm assuming someone smoked in it given majority of the population in china seems to be smoking like a chimney. The Pearl gave us great modern comfort to an alienated(to us) city.
