I came to Dandong specifically for the BBQ, and it definitely lived up to the hype – it had a great, lively atmosphere. I chose the best hotel in Dandong for my stay, and it was conveniently located not far from the BBQ restaurants, just a minimum taxi fare away. The hotel's service, cleanliness, and facilities were all excellent. The absolute best part was not having to go downstairs to pick up food deliveries; the front desk arranged for a robot to bring them directly to my room – that was truly amazing!

I stayed two nights in a row at the Shangri-La Dalian for this trip, and overall it was a great experience, with only two minor regrets. When I arrived and got out of the car, no concierge proactively offered to help with my luggage. During check-in, the front desk staff addressed me rather casually, calling me 'sis,' which lacked the appropriate professionalism for a five-star hotel. Aside from these two points, the room exceeded expectations. It didn't feel dated, was spacious and open, with plenty of natural light. All amenities were complete and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to visit the beach and shopping areas. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. For families with children, there was ample space and plenty of toys, so it never felt cramped. Toiletries and drinking water were replenished promptly. Although breakfast was busy, the crowd was managed in an orderly fashion. Overall, the hardware conditions are highly recommendable. I hope the hotel can refine its front office service details and standardize service etiquette. I would still prioritize choosing this hotel for future visits to Dalian.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the concierge immediately came over to help with our luggage. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic. They even thoughtfully gave us tips for exploring the area and upgraded us to a higher floor room for free! The room was spotlessly clean with no strange smells, and the bedding was fluffy and soft. All the bathroom facilities were brand new. The public areas were also consistently maintained by staff, making the whole place feel very pleasant to walk around. During our stay, any request to the front desk was met with a super quick response. There were absolutely no unpleasant surprises, and the value for money was outstanding. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit this area, and I've already recommended it to friends who are planning a trip here.

Nestled halfway up Lianhua Mountain, Yifang Castle stands majestically, a unique landmark in itself, offering stunning views that need no filter. The hotel's sky garden is exquisite and elegant, serving as a perfect observation deck with unobstructed views of the entire Xinghai Bay. The cross-sea bridge, alongside the vast blue sky and ocean, creates a breathtaking panorama. This fairytale castle hotel exceeded expectations with its elegant and clean environment, and well-equipped, comfortable rooms. James provided meticulous and thoughtful service, and the facilities were comprehensive, ensuring the children were happy throughout the stay. The photo opportunities were fantastic, and it offers great value for money. Highly recommended for families with children.

The room was new, so there was a slight smell of renovation, but it wasn't overpowering. The twin beds, at 1.35m each, were great for families with children. The gym was fantastic with a full range of equipment. As for breakfast, it was just okay for the price; the freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice was good, and the noodles were decent, but everything else was pretty standard. The front desk staff were also very friendly. Since I visited during an off-peak time, there was plenty of parking available. I used to only stay in international chain five-star hotels, but if you plan on eating out every day and breakfast isn't a big deal, this hotel is a solid option.

I absolutely have to give a five-star review to Hilton Shenyang Shimao! Special thanks to Alisa, the Guest Relations Manager. We had booked an executive room, and it happened to be our anniversary. Alisa was incredibly thoughtful; she proactively recommended and arranged for us to have a King Business Room instead. The room was on an excellent floor with a wide, open view outside, and the city skyline was absolutely stunning. The view was even better than what we would have had in the executive room. Alisa's service was meticulous and heartwarming, and she was genuinely considerate and attentive, making our anniversary stay feel extra special and ceremonial. The experience was perfect, completely satisfying, and I'm really looking forward to staying here again!

The environment is good, the location is good, the friend said that the new one will be good, and several companies will be here. The waiting time for check-in was too long, the first room was pungent and the decoration taste, the front desk provided a room with a better view on request, thank you. After staying for less than an hour, the room leaked. A black clothes manager told me that the room was already the best room. Then I could change to a room that was not good than now, and I could not make up the difference, or wait for the repair. I think it’s okay to repair it. After all, the luggage is opened. At 12:30 in the middle of the night, I started to leak again, let me change the room, I said that I can't accept it in the middle of the night, you take some towel pads to absorb water, let's talk about it tomorrow. I didn't take the initiative to repair it the next day. I called the hotel through Trip.com . The feedback can be provided to upgrade the room. Then did you not face the small management yesterday? Lie and don't blush? It’s not good to check out an hour late. Why don’t you say that when you opened the room and asked me to wait so long? Going to the front desk to check out, the little beauty asked me how to stay, I said these, the little beauty is patient to listen, the small management next to it said, is not it for you to upgrade the room, do not leak, I use you to upgrade the room? My room leaked for half a night. You gave me a room upgrade or you let me? I mean, you can return the room card back, I will ***, what attitude? How much can the staff next to you be patient to receive you? Or let the staff not ask when you train. In fact, I can feel that the boss wants to do a good job in the hotel. The front-line employees are also very hard. So hard to smile and treat guests. These small managements are absolutely perfect. Every time the goodwill of the employees is pulled back, the management is defeated. Passing by the front desk of Building 1 several times, they are dealing with customer complaints. The boss has time to look at the monitoring of your front desk and look at your hotel management team. It is a good place. Don't be defeated by the management team. Holiday customers can understand, but sincere hospitality will really touch every guest.

I was already looking forward to writing a review for this hotel before my trip even ended! It truly exceeded all my expectations! The front desk upgraded me, and I ended up with a huge room. Both the bathtub and the window view were absolutely superb, and I loved the small balcony in the room—it was great to get some fresh air without leaving. The Penhaligon's toiletries and the intangible cultural heritage exhibition in the lobby were also nice bonuses.

XXiarenjunThis was my first time in Shenyang, and for an important anniversary, I chose the Conrad as our base for a three-day, two-night stay. Here’s an objective review based on my actual experience: **Location:** The hotel is very close to both Beizhan (North Station) and Shenyang Station, about a ten-minute taxi ride. If you take the subway, it’s just one transfer, and you can reach Exit A of Renmin Square Station on Line 2 (which is the entrance to MixC Hang Lung Plaza) in about 30 minutes. From the first floor of Hang Lung Plaza, there's a glass automatic door that connects directly to the hotel's first floor. Regarding Hang Lung Plaza, I won't comment on the shopping as I didn't explore it much. However, it’s very convenient to take the escalator down to the basement for a meal, grab some snacks at the supermarket/convenience store, play Taiko or Maimai at the arcade on the basement level, or sing karaoke at Mei KTV on the third floor accessible by a scenic elevator. This definitely adds to the convenience of staying at the Conrad. **Service:** * **Pre-Stay Service:** I didn't receive any pre-arrival calls or contact, which is usually standard for five-star hotels. It made me think, 'Hmm?' a little, but it wasn't a major issue. During check-in, the front desk informed me that our room was still being prepared but offered a complimentary upgrade to a smoking room so we wouldn't have to wait. I accepted the kind offer and was relieved that the smoke smell in the room wasn't very noticeable. * **During-Stay Service:** On the first night, I wanted to take a bath, but the bathtub took nearly two hours to fill, only reaching the depth shown in the photo. After half an hour, I thought it was just because the tub was large and filling slowly, but when it was still the same after more than an hour, I suspected the drain wasn't sealing properly. However, it was quite late, and I didn't want to bother the hotel staff with repairs at that hour, especially since we’d already received an upgrade. It felt like that 'don't ask for a bicycle when you've been given a watch' kind of awkwardness. So, the next morning, I called housekeeping to ask if someone could check it while we were out in the afternoon. When we returned the next evening, the first thing I did was fill the tub, and seeing the water successfully rise made me so happy! I could finally take a bath! I'm grateful to the staff for solving the problem on time. Later that night, we went to the executive lounge on the 83rd floor for the evening light meal. The food was excellent, and they were proactive in asking about our needs. Special thanks to Cloris, Luna, and Rachel for their warm service. **Facilities:** As mentioned above, the room was generally in good condition. There were a few areas that showed some wear or minor human-made stains, but nothing major. Honestly, you don't really use or even touch every single part of a suite; it's always just a few key areas. The bathtub issue might have been a 'historical problem' left by a previous guest, but at least I got it resolved. This does, however, suggest that there's room for improvement in terms of facility maintenance and even upgrades. **Dining:** The executive lounge's food has already been mentioned, so I won't repeat it. For breakfast, I went at 8 AM and 9 AM on the two different days. As expected, it was less crowded earlier. You swipe your room card, then an attendant guides you to an empty table and asks if you'd like coffee or tea. Overall, breakfast was quite good, offering most of the varieties you'd expect from a typical five-star hotel. **Final Thoughts:** One minor point of annoyance was the hotel's elevators. Many guests have mentioned the hassle of having to transfer elevators on the 88th floor to get from the hotel entrance to their room. Personally, I think the waiting time for the elevators is more frustrating than the transfer itself. From the 88th-floor lobby to the rooms on lower floors, there are four elevators. Without judging whether that's too many or too few, objectively speaking, every time I waited for an elevator from my room floor to the 88th floor, or from the 88th to my room, it always took over a minute. There was never a time when an elevator arrived within thirty or forty-five seconds of pressing the button. And often, when the elevator did arrive, it was empty. Perhaps it was because I stayed on a weekend and the hotel had an event? The above only represents my personal experience during this stay.

GGuest UserThis hotel clearly has a strong legacy of service. I stayed at the Dalian InterContinental years ago, and while the furniture and decor are showing a bit of age now, the service quality remains consistently excellent. GGuest UserTraveling during off-peak season, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is fantastic, making it super convenient for kids to go crabbing. The service is also excellent; it's so much better than the unhelpful one next door! A big thank you to 'Eason' (Chen Yixun) who brought us plenty of water when he saw we had a large group – it felt great to have all our requests met. There was also a very handsome manager who gave the kids fun toys. Overall, it provided a wonderful vacation experience. The hamburger and fish and chips were also great and very popular with the children. On the first floor, there's even a DJI drone available for a test flight, which the kids loved. The only downside is that because it's so close to the sea, the bedding can be a bit damp. If you're traveling with small children, you might want to bring your own sheets.

AAnonymous UserI've stayed at all the five-star hotels in Dalian – the Shangri-La, Grand Hyatt, Castle, Conrad, Hilton, and New World, from Donggang to Renmin Road and Xinghai. Years ago, I had a few meals and afternoon tea at the Kempinski, and my impression was quite good. This time, I was back in China for a business trip near the hotel. Even though the hotel had changed its name, I booked three nights and four days, drawn by fond memories and the convenience, as I had never actually stayed there before. The result was a huge disappointment! This is definitely a hotel I would never choose again. Let's start from arrival. Coming from the airport by taxi, I had one large suitcase and three carry-on bags. There were no staff at the entrance. Just as I was struggling, a male staff member saw the taxi and came out to help with my luggage. During check-in, the front desk staff said they had upgraded my room and very enthusiastically offered to take me to the room. In the process, they asked for my WeChat, saying it would be convenient for service. After I gave it to them, they just turned around and left, not escorting me to my room. This felt very insincere! They completely disregarded how tiring it is for a customer who has just traveled. So I dragged all my luggage by myself to the room, which turned out to be a corner room next to a dilapidated fire exit. Upon entering, my first impression was that the hotel's blackout curtains were fully closed, and the colors were very dark, making the whole room feel incredibly oppressive. I then requested a room change. Later, a young female staff member came to the room to bring a new key card, helped me view the new room, and assisted with moving my luggage. Her service was excellent! I'd like to thank that young lady. Now, about breakfast. I only went once out of three days and didn't bother going again. The food was unappetizing, and the hygiene was poor. Uncleaned dishes were left in plain sight after guests finished eating. Waiters constantly made screeching noises dragging chairs. Two waiters were chatting, and even after I signaled them, they didn't respond. And the attitude of the chefs making noodles at the Chinese food station – they were joking and laughing, and customers had to ask multiple times before getting a reply. The entire restaurant staff lacked a sense of service. I considered changing hotels in the middle of my stay, but I was too lazy to bother. I finally endured until checkout day. The front desk then asked for a good review, without asking about my real feelings at all. The entire check-in and stay experience was awful. I honestly can't give a positive review against my conscience.

PP.jioneWe had a truly wonderful stay at Fraser Place Dalian. Before our arrival, Flora Sun kindly contacted us in advance, and she was also incredibly warm, professional, and welcoming during check-in. Thanks to her thoughtful hospitality, we were upgraded to an amazing suite with a spacious living room, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. This made our trip with friends much more comfortable and enjoyable. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. We accidentally entered the wrong delivery address when ordering food, but a staff member went out of their way to locate the delivery, retrieve it, and bring it directly to our room. We were genuinely touched by this level of care and attention. The room was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. The location was convenient, and the overall stay exceeded our expectations in every way. As a group of three friends traveling together, we were able to create wonderful memories and enjoy a much more relaxing stay than we had imagined. The kindness and professionalism of Flora Sun and the entire hotel team will remain one of the highlights of our trip. We would definitely choose Fraser Place Dalian again on our next visit to Dalian and would confidently recommend it to anyone planning to stay in the city. Thank you very much for your outstanding hospitality.
