She gave us a warm welcome upon check-in and introduced us to the hotel. The location was super convenient – just across the street from Henglong Plaza, making shopping and dining a breeze. In the evenings, a pleasant 20-minute stroll led us straight to Daming Lake and Chaoran Tower to see the illuminations, making our itinerary incredibly relaxed.

This stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of shops, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby, and getting a taxi is very convenient. Jade was very friendly, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the room was well soundproofed, making for a very quiet night. Hot water supply in the bathroom was stable, and all the facilities were new and complete. The staff were responsive, and the overall environment was clean and quiet. It offers outstanding value for money, perfect for both short trips and temporary stays. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

It's great value for money and perfectly suited for family vacations with kids, as well as leisure and wellness retreats. 1. Location and Views The hotel is about 50 kilometers from downtown Qingdao. While it's relatively remote, this distance from the city's hustle and bustle ensures a wonderful sense of tranquility. It's right next to Aoshan Bay's kilometer-long golden beach, with direct access downstairs. The sea views are outstanding, and some sea-view rooms boast a panoramic 270-degree vista, perfect for enjoying the ocean and taking photos. The hotel itself features a Mediterranean European style, with an exterior resembling a dream castle and a grand, elegantly decorated lobby. Next to the hotel, there are numerous indoor and outdoor hot springs with crystal-clear water, ideal for a relaxing soak.

The Westin Qingdao has an excellent location, very close to May Fourth Square and the commercial district, making it super convenient for getting around, sightseeing, shopping, and finding places to eat. Staying on the Executive Floor offered outstanding views; I could take in the stunning sea views right from my window. The Executive Lounge experience was superb, with a wide variety of food. The staff were attentive and responsive, providing meticulous service throughout my stay. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay, perfect for a trip to Qingdao.

Excellent service, and the room was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel's proximity to the airport is incredibly convenient, making it highly recommended, especially for late-night arrivals or early morning flights. This hotel offers fantastic value for money.

The female staff members I encountered at this hotel were all wonderful. When I booked a tent, I was told the beach would be shady in the afternoon, but I actually needed the tent more in the morning. They were very helpful and changed my reservation to the morning. When checking in, they noticed I had a small baby and proactively asked if I could wait a few hours to get a room upgrade to a sea-view room. Since I was going to Mount Laoshan that day, I checked in in the evening and was upgraded directly to a sea-view room. Many thanks to the front desk staff who checked me in and the staff who helped me book the tent. The room was also cleaned very well every day.

While the facilities might be a bit older, the cleanliness and service are consistently excellent. What's more, the price was half of what I paid last October in Xiamen. During my stay, I received a handwritten note from Ms. Liu Fengci from the service team. Even if it's part of her routine, it still brought a warm feeling to my heart as a guest. And then there's Ms. Yu Fei from customer service, who proactively called to check on our needs during our stay. The hotel truly demonstrates the soft power of an established brand. This time, I could genuinely feel they valued and looked forward to guest feedback on their work. I rarely write reviews, but this time I felt compelled to leave my thoughts.

However, after checking into the Shangri-La, Guest Relations Manager Cherry's recommendations for lesser-known spots unlocked a whole new way to experience Qingdao. Tired of the overcrowded, Instagrammable sites like Zhanqiao Pier and Badaguan, I was looking for quiet, off-the-beaten-path viewpoints. Cherry, understanding my preferences, suggested heading up Signal Hill to the revolving observation deck. From there, you get a panoramic view of the old town's red roofs and azure sea, with fewer crowds – perfect for photos, and a great way to avoid large tour groups. For dining, she recommended Grandma Haiyan's Seafood Potsticker, an old local favorite. The cuttlefish potstickers, with their thin skin and generous filling, are a hidden culinary gem on Zhongshan Road. Cherry's communication was professional and poised, and she proactively shared tips on avoiding common tourist traps and expenses at attractions. While the hotel's accommodation quality was impeccable, it was Cherry's professional yet passionate service that truly stood out, breaking the stereotype of conventional front desk service. She thoughtfully curated a personalized itinerary for me, resulting in an exceptional experience. Definitely worthy of a five-star recommendation!

We arrived quite late with the kids, but I had contacted Manager Nancy beforehand. Because we had children, we had a lot of detailed requests, but the hotel was incredibly accommodating. When we arrived, our rooms were already prepared, which saved us a lot of time. The hotel is also very child-friendly; they even had step stools for kids, which was such a thoughtful detail. Since my children are a bit short, having the step stool made it much easier for them to wash their hands and brush their teeth. The breakfast was varied and suitable for both seniors and children. The environment is peaceful, perfect for a stroll when the weather is nice. This is already our third time staying here. It's truly ideal for families with kids and elderly relatives, offering a relaxing and worry-free stay.

Traveling with my child during the summer vacation, I deliberated for a long time between the St. Regis, MGM, and Haitang Hotel, and ultimately chose Haitang. It turns out I made the right choice. The hotel is very new, and apart from the slightly small rooms, I was quite satisfied with everything else, and it was very clean. The location is also excellent; the side sea view room initially felt a bit misleading, but every afternoon while lounging on the sofa, I had a full panoramic sea view. I'm not sure if it's due to the season or the hotel's overall good climate control, but the humidity felt just right, so comfortable that I didn't want to leave. The service was even more outstanding, from check-in to final departure, the entire experience was great, and they were very accommodating. The most important thing to highlight is that their breakfast was truly delicious; you could tell a lot of effort went into it, and the restaurant on the third floor was also very tasty. Plus, they offered complimentary afternoon tea and a sightseeing tour of 'Sea and Sky' (海上云天), so the value for money was actually quite good.
