I'm very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The amenities promised in my voucher such face towel, bathrobe, and slippers were missing from my room. When I asked reception, they said these are only given upon request and couldn’t provide a clear answer and said its housekeeping mistake. I ordered biryani on arrival which was greasy and below standard; despite informing management, no action was taken and I was still charged $12. The dirty plate and not collected the same day and this start smelling bad. Even worse, the limes in my drinks had mold on them. Attempts to speak with management failed they're never available and the reception just asks you to wait. Room service also delivered food with spilled condiments. This is unacceptable from a hotel of this caliber. Hoping for immediate improvement and response.
They’re good, and their service is also good. But their online response is very bad. I didn't get any response to when I texted and called them, as I had some queries.
But their hospitality is very good.
And food is also tasty.
Hotel is in the heart of Colombo and very prominent location in Sri Lanka. I love the garden view. Food is excellent choices. Staff everyone is very courteous and well organise and presentable. All staff are consistently helpful. Special thanks to the restaurant staff Kamani ,Randil and Imesh. I will definitely comeback to this hotel when my next visit. My appreciation to all staff members during my stay.
We recently stayed at Galle Face Hotel, Colombo with my family. Overall, the hotel experience was good, especially the location and service. However, the rooms feel overly traditional and colonial, which does not fully meet modern-day requirements. The heavy wooden furniture and old-fashioned, posh décor may appeal to older patrons who appreciate classic heritage styles, but it may not suit travelers looking for a more contemporary stay. The electrical points and facilities are also quite outdated and not convenient for today’s laptop- and gadget-dependent travelers. I would suggest that the hotel consider modernizing some rooms and amenities, while still preserving a few heritage-style rooms for guests who prefer the traditional experiences.
It's pretty decent. The pool is actually quite small. Breakfast was good. Good value for money. Fine for an overnight stay. It's quite convenient to the National Museum and the popular influencer stores. However, those influencer stores are just so-so. They look nice, but there isn't much to buy.
Location: Easy to find, navigation was accurate.
Service: Family-run guesthouse. The owner is American and kindly moved our car to make room for us, worried we wouldn't be able to park.
Facilities: Swimming pool, the kids played there for a while.
Room: There was a drying rack! We washed several days' worth of clothes.
Meals: This was our second-to-last night in Sri Lanka. We left early the next morning to return the car, so we didn't order breakfast.
Two shortcomings: The blankets didn't have covers, leading to reasonable suspicion that they hadn't been changed. In short, my usually thick-skinned companion complained of intense itching, and even someone from northern China who can go two days without changing clothes insisted on changing out of their T-shirt after getting up.
The kids, even in short sleeves, scratched themselves until they were red.
I didn't feel itchy at all while wearing long sleeves and pants.
The price of 400 was inflated.
The shower head in the room was really dirty; I brought my own filter, and after one shower, the filter was completely black. There was a lot of dust on the tissue box, and the sofa had stains.
Experience Sri Lanka's first theme-park style resort! Perfect for families and features a massive kids' water park, infinity pool, Gym and tennis/basketball court,"
I stayed at this hotel for one night. It’s conveniently close to the airport, making it easy to reach in about 30 minutes. If you’re looking to enjoy a lagoon view, this is one of the best options. The breakfast was excellent, featuring both traditional and Western dishes. They also offer a late checkout option at an hourly rate of approximately $5 USD per hour.
Location is very remote, no restaurant or hotel nearby to eat anything only grad food delivery

First trip here due to flight being cancelled, search in the trip.com for one night stayed it is a nice and peaceful hotel. Luckily met my friend’s friend Mr Sujith who is one of the Chief Chef here 👍👍👍, nice sea food with coconut ice cream is well recommended.
Value for money. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner. The dinner and breakfast were western style buffet with some variety of non spicy dishes. Our room is a sea view room and can see sunset. A small swimming pool at the roof.
Excellent one week stay with my mum. Great value for the money and they have the cinnamon element in this hotel too. I will stay here again. Their breakfast is the best and so convenient to get around.

Arrived very late and we’re still welcome D with non alcoholic freshly made juice for my self and my littlest extremely accomodating at such a late hour breakfast was a buffet setup with. Oth Western European and traditional Sri Lanka cuisines and we still pretty much could order anything anyway - my daughter wanted western style eggs fried sunny side up on toast cracked them right there in front of here the view was incredible from our room you could hear the ocean crash against the rocks only wish we could have stayed longer really good people place service was exceptional- you. E nice they be nice easy peasy xox
Jetwing was an amazing hotel to stay, we got a nice sea view apartment. Nice hotel with great amenities for the price. The breakfast was really good and amazing. Highly recommended
IIan LagacLocation is great, just beside One Galle Face Mall. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Beautiful sunset views (from the bar, pool, restaurant, lobby) and Galle Face opposite the road. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Checked in Dec 30-Jan 2 peak season. Hotel was fully booked. Waited in the lobby for my room to be ready upon check-in. Front desk said they will find me to let me know. Waited for more than an hour before I asked them again and told me that my room has been ready. Ordered some room service which took more than an hour to be delivered. Granted they told me that it may take about 50 minutes because it was peak hours. Upon delivery they told me it was comped because of the long wait. Pool, restaurant, and bar staff are all great. Very personable and accommodating. Loved the sky pool on the 31st floor. No bar but not as crowded as the main pool. Breakfast was great. A lot of choices. Asian selection is great. Pastries not so much, some didn’t seem fresh. Heard from some staff that it gets super busy from around 9 but didn’t experience any long wait. Plenty of tables to accommodate people. Overall a great experience and will definitely stay here again if I’m in Colombo.
Our stay at Granbell Hotel Colombo was nothing short of perfect. From the infinity pool with stunning ocean views to the stylish, modern rooms, everything felt luxurious yet welcoming. The rooftop bar was a highlight — ideal for sunsets and cocktails. Staff were friendly and attentive. A perfect blend of comfort and location in the heart of Colombo. Highly recommended for both short stays and relaxing vacations. #GranbellHotel #ColomboStay #SriLankaViews #OceanViewHotel #LuxuryStay #TravelSriLanka #RooftopVibes
Located at the most central avenue of Colombo has very nice view to the Indian Ocean, particularly from the rooftop garden and swimming pool, which probably is the largest in Asia. I was in this garden in 2018 and now is like a roof forest. The gym is well equipped and with panoramic view. The hotel is at the top of the mall, the dream of my wife. Every hour there was a shuttle to a tropical beach just outside Colombo. We did also the complementary half day tour to the city that was well organized. Excellent service and comfort.
