Romantic Hotels in Guangxi, China

I've had Lingzhu on my saved list for ages, and I finally got to experience it in Guilin Yangshuo – it was absolutely fantastic! First, the service: Even before check-in, they set up a group chat to confirm our arrival time, introduce services, and share important tips. A huge thanks to the Executive Lounge butlers, Reina, Vivi, Alva, our travel photographer Cici, and all the shuttle drivers! Thanks to their thoughtful care, our brief three-day holiday in Yangshuo was made even more fulfilling and enjoyable ❤️ The hotel was so accommodating, directly providing transfers to West Street, off-road vehicle tours, and various attractions. There was no need to worry about not being able to find a taxi at night or getting lost halfway. The shuttle also took us to Building 8, the restaurant, the travel photography studio, and various other places. To exaggerate a little, I barely had to walk, haha! Every day, we enjoyed afternoon tea and a sweet nightly dessert. As an Americano lover and a wellness enthusiast, I absolutely adored it. Second, the room: The mini-bar was fully stocked, the bathtub was spotless, the balcony sofa had no stains – all these details show why this is one of Yangshuo's most popular hotels. The bedding didn't have any damp smell either, which is even better than some big-name hotels. The outdoor pool was also very clean. The staff cleaned it every morning, demonstrating how much the hotel values hygiene. Third, the dining: For breakfast, you can have rice noodles every day, plus a variety of Western options for foreign guests to change things up. There were at least 5-6 kinds of fruit (you absolutely must try the watermelon – it's super sweet!). Fourth, and most importantly, the scenery: There wasn't a single spot that wasn't beautiful. From the balcony, you look out onto the 'Ten-Mile Gallery,' and the hotel is right in front of Gongnong Bridge. Everywhere is a perfect spot for influencer travel photos (and you need to use your room card to access it, ensuring guest privacy). In summary, having Lingzhu on this Yangshuo trip made us truly feel the beauty and care of Guilin's landscapes. If anyone I know plans to visit Yangshuo, I will definitely highly recommend this place ❤️

I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!

Our family of three had a fantastic stay here! The hotel grounds are huge, and our child absolutely loved the peacocks roaming around – we'd often spot them, which made the trip really fun. The room was spacious, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. The front desk even provided children's amenities. The facilities are comprehensive, with a kids' play area, a swimming pool, and even a sightseeing train. The back gate leads directly to the Li River. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were delicious. Some facilities are a bit dated, but it didn't detract from our vacation. We didn't even need to leave the hotel to keep our child entertained. Our child still talks about the peacocks, so I highly recommend this for families with kids.

Upon entering the room, there was a fresh, pleasant aroma, and the cleanliness was impeccable. 2. **Location (Superb):** This hotel is right next to West Street and the Li River. You're just a few dozen meters from the pedestrian street, truly offering a 'quiet retreat in a bustling area.' It was completely peaceful. 3. **Views & Design:** The lobby has a very stylish design, perfect for photos. From the rooftop terrace, you can watch the sunrise and enjoy the scenery (it's supposedly the tallest building on West Street). 4. **Service & Experience:** The front desk staff, particularly the attendant/concierge, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They proactively shared detailed tips for dining, entertainment, and activities, and even assisted with arranging an electric scooter rental. The overall experience was excellent.

Bringing my whole family, including seniors and kids, to Yangshuo for summer vacation, choosing the FaDai Hotel was an excellent decision! The transportation is convenient, and getting around to nearby attractions is smooth. The room's view is absolutely fantastic; my kids spent every day glued to the window, watching the mountains and rivers. The breakfast is well-balanced and nutritious, with light options suitable for both elderly guests and children. The butler service is very attentive and proactively offered suggestions for family-friendly activities. The free travel photoshoot was a huge bonus; the photographer was great at entertaining the kids, making it easy to capture natural and warm family photos. It allowed us to relax while keeping the kids entertained. We'll definitely be back!

A truly healing hotel. The environment is absolutely stunning; open the window and you're greeted by picturesque mountains, rivers, and fields. The service is gentle and warm, making you feel very comfortable. I tried the head spa and Zen meditation, and the techniques were professional; I felt completely relaxed afterward. The breakfast is light and healthy, fitting the overall peaceful vibe. The only minor downside is its location within the scenic area, meaning you have to return a bit earlier in the evening, but this also contributes to the tranquility. Overall, I'm very satisfied and it's perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

No noisy hawkers, far from the hustle and bustle of West Street. There's also an infinity pool 🏊‍♀️ and an outdoor rooftop terrace~ Upon check-in, you can enjoy: ✅ Exclusive afternoon tea ✅ Free bicycle usage ✅ Oil tea making experience ✅ Free use of traditional clothing and professional travel photography service Nearby attractions: ✅ Gongnong Bridge Just a few minutes' walk! From the bridge, you can capture photos of the Yulong River and the surrounding mountains. Sunset and blue hour moments are incredibly beautiful~ At night, you can even see the 'Golden Dragon Parade'. ✅ Shuangliu Ferry Pavilion You can cycle there using the hotel's bikes! The endless pastoral scenery unfolds before your eyes. Along the way, you'll find rice fields, watermills, and ancient bridges, with tons of swings available for free use!!! ✅ Yitian West Street A lively market with lots of snacks, ethnic clothing, jewelry... and a bridge adorned with wishing plaques~ ✅ Yulong River banks Just a few steps from the hotel, you'll find a riverside path. Nestled against the mountains and by the water, it's a feast for the eyes with lush green hills and clear waters.

The hotel's location is excellent, right by the river and very close to West Street. It offers a perfect blend of being quiet yet close to the bustling area. The environment is lovely, and the hotel service is outstanding. The facilities are complete, and the view from the terrace is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it! They also provide thoughtful welcome gifts, and the car rental service at the entrance is very convenient.

The hygiene was excellent; even the tiles in the hallway were spotless, and the public areas were very clean, with staff cleaning early in the morning. The overall environment was quite good, nestled against the mountains, offering a serene atmosphere. However, the appearance of the residential houses outside the hotel somewhat lowered the overall standard. What I most want to complain about is the service. When we checked in, we were told the highest floor wasn't ready yet, so we went out. No one informed us when the room was ready, so we ended up staying on a lower floor when we returned. A butler contacted us in advance to inquire about our itinerary, offer suggestions, and claim they had discounted tickets for performances. However, after checking prices through other channels, we found theirs to be more expensive and politely declined. The butler then became passive-aggressive, which was very uncomfortable. The next morning, the rice noodle stall at breakfast was utterly chaotic; whoever showed up got the noodles. The breakfast greetings also felt abrupt and robotic; it would be better to just cancel them. Regarding the cormorant show in the morning, animal performances are already a sensitive topic, and the staff treated the animals very roughly, grabbing them by the neck and throwing them. With so many children watching, whose concepts and behaviors are still developing, this could easily lead them to imitate such actions and be misguided. The large lawn had various facilities and activities, including individual rooms with TVs to watch the World Cup, which was a highlight. The main downside is the remote location and poor transportation facilities, making it inconvenient to go anywhere for dining or sightseeing.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful views of the Karst mountains all around. Giant lotus pond drifting off. We had a large 270 panoramic room but even a straight room facing the pond would be great. Food is good. We also arranged a takeaway from the concierge which was great service, when it was too late for lunch and too early to head into Yangshuo (~10-20 yuan taxi in 10-15 mins tops 3.6km to the lively Yangshuo West Street). We also rented electric scooters which was a great way to poottle along the river and watch the landscapes and paddy fields. Stopped for some sugar cane drink, literally direct from the field into your mouth. Lovely facilities, huge amount of plugs for any country and 2x USBA on either bed side along with wireless charging. Cheap compared to any other four seasons hotel, better than any other four seasons hotel, but not that cheap by Chinese standards. Go on and treat yourself to a special little stay. Fabulous 👌
