The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the entrance of Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, and directly opposite East and West Alley and Jingjiang Prince City. From the hotel, it's just a 10-minute walk to Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, both offering fantastic scenery. The front desk service is also commendable; they were incredibly enthusiastic and even offered to help carry our luggage to our room and to the hotel entrance. Two thumbs up!

Amazing hotel! Spectacular views. It is about a 40mins didi ride from the Yangshuo station but totally worth it! We stayed at the no.8 building which is away from the lobby but we get taken there either by a private car or the buggy. Breakfast was included and it was okay. The Guilin noodles was definitely the highlight of breakfast. There was also daily refill of the minibar, fruit as well as afternoon tea consisting of nuts, fruits and desserts and Chinese sweet dessert at night. The private car was convenient as it can take you to close surrounding areas. The drivers were really nice. Our 管家 (housekeepers) 西西 and 勤勤 were really nice and friendly too. We had no plan so thank you to 西西and勤勤 for recommending different activities for us and helped us book tickets for cheaper prices too! We had so much fun paragliding, ATV car riding and visiting scenic places! As the weather was cooler, we didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. The hotel itself could use some upkeep though, as some of the paint is wearing off. Nevertheless, I'd definitely come back. The village where the hotel is located at is absolutely charming! Love it :)

The room was spacious, and the hotel seemed newly renovated and well-equipped. The staff were enthusiastic, and there's a playground for kids. The food was also very fresh. The hotel is close to all the attractions, and there's a lake and a park right across the street.

Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately drawn in by two rows of lush bamboo – the new Chinese style really resonated with me! The minimalist black and white lobby features ink wash paintings and tea elements, while wooden furniture paired with mountain light and shadows creates a serene, Zen-like atmosphere perfect for photos. Rooms start at a spacious 50 sqm, and opening the balcony door reveals views of green mountains and dark tiles. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the sunset paint the peaks golden in the evening feels incredibly private. For families with kids, rest assured; the butler proactively provides bed rails and baby-friendly mosquito coils – such thoughtful details!

Excellent, the usual friendly Marriott service. I brought my family to Guangxi for a trip and chose to stay here on our last night. I'm a long-time Marriott Bonvoy member. It's very close to Mixc City, which is considered Nanning's most bustling commercial area. They kindly upgraded my room for free, and outside the window, I could see the big Ferris wheel, which was beautiful at night. The hotel facilities are comprehensive. I highly recommend the buffet on the 17th floor. Since our flight was at 6:30 PM and my child fell asleep at check-out, I spoke with the lovely lady at the front desk, and they extended our stay by two hours free of charge, for which I'm very grateful. I will definitely choose a Marriott property again next time.

For my trip to Guilin this time, I stayed at the Poetry and Faraway hotel in both Yangshuo and Guilin, and the service was truly excellent! Many hotels nowadays charge for laundry, but this one offers free washing and drying, even folding and plastic-wrapping your clothes before returning them to your room. This is incredibly thoughtful for gentlemen like us who are constantly on the road! The butler service was also top-notch, always accommodating requests and responding to messages promptly, helping us out a lot. The breakfast was very good, although the rice noodles in Guilin and Yangshuo had some differences, and there was a wide variety of local specialties. We booked river-view rooms, and the scenery from them was superb, directly facing Fubo Hill. The hotel's riverside location offers incredible, first-rate views! The in-room Wi-Fi was fast, and there were even rocking chairs, free tea bags so you could enjoy tea with a view, and a handheld garment steamer. The hotel is also centrally located, making it convenient to get to many places, and taxis arrive quickly. There's also a parking lot for those driving, complete with charging stations. Many of the hotel staff act as mini-guides, recommending great places to eat and fun activities, so we will definitely be back next time.

It's literally the nicest hotel in the area despite being expensive.
Our room overlooked the sunset and the view was beautiful.
The front desk staff efficiently checked me in, making me feel right at home.Special thanks to Jackson, who made the stay perfect and was helpful every step of the way! I'll definitely come back.
Perhaps the most pleasing aspect was the hotel's quiet atmosphere that allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. There were no sounds of traffic or construction to distract or annoy us, and that was a pleasant change from our normal routine. We are happy to recommend to everyone that they book their next stay for rest and recreation at the Nan Ning Shangri-La Hotel.
By the way, the hotel's location is very convenient as it is central to shopping, restaurants and recreation venues. Aurelia, Jessica, Eileen, Doris, and Iris are great.

This year, I've stayed at many family-friendly hotels with my child, but this one left the deepest impression. From the moment we arrived, a friendly staff member helped us with our luggage at the front desk. The room was equipped with various child-friendly facilities, and the restaurant even had special cutlery for kids. The 10th-floor kids' club was incredibly well-stocked and looked spotless. The location is also excellent; we could walk to major attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, which was super convenient. It's truly fantastic and far exceeded my expectations for the price. I'd recommend it to any parent planning to visit Guilin with their little one.

The hotel lobby is very grand, and the background painting has a strong local character, which is quite impressive. The room we were assigned had a very open view; although it faced a road, the soundproofing was still good. When checking in, the lady at the front desk gave us a complimentary room upgrade and reminded us that it was going to rain that day, advising us to take an umbrella. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Even though the hotel is ten years old, the facilities are still quite new. The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, and they even have Luosifen (snail noodles)! The staff were also excellent, promptly helping to change our plates. We also received a welcome fruit tea, which tasted great!

The view is beautiful. The parking lot at the entrance is a bit small (I'm not sure if there's underground parking), but the handsome guy on the first floor was very helpful with our luggage. I heard from the taxi driver outside that the lobby is on the 13th floor because of the location, and they're worried about flooding. So, we have to go up to the 13th floor to check in, then go to our check-in floor. This trip to Liuzhou was a spontaneous one, and the beautiful river view made me feel great.
The beautiful receptionist gave me a free upgrade to a suite with a large bathtub. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept soundly. The upgraded suite had a window that opened onto a residential building across from it, but I was fine with that. After all, rest is the most important thing after a tiring trip. There's another window over the bathtub, with picturesque greenery outside and a sideways view of the river. There's a swimming pool on the 12th floor. While not large, I went there at night to take photos. The shimmering night view is beautiful and photogenic.
Breakfast was my own expense. The beef brisket noodles were good, and the other food complemented the river view. The taste wasn't important; the gentle morning breeze and a good mood were what mattered...

GGuest User5 star hotel of international standard with quality furnishings and spacious room and separate bathroom. Good bell boy service and good in house resturant. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with balcony and a fantastic view of the mountains. There are no local shops or restaurants within walking distance, but this is a plus as you don't have crowds outside the hotel. I had problem with we chat and Serena. One of the front desk was most helpful and spend ample time to go through my internet settings. Taxi service is cheap and most taxi trip is not more than 25 rmb which is about 6 dollars Australian. Front desk staff send us to Good quality local restaurants as we wanted to try authentic local restaurants. Probably the best in quilin

MM360408****The room was clean, odor-free, and very spacious. I originally booked a twin room with two 1.2m beds, but the owner upgraded me to a king-size bed for free. It's located inside West Street, making it easy to find. No stairs to climb either. It's also cheaper than the hotels on蟠桃路 (Pantao Road).
GGuest UserThe 270-degree view room I stayed in on the first day, whether it is the size of the room or the level of hygiene or the degree of view and dinner, the family is quite satisfied. If it is the feeling of this night, I will give five points of praise. Because I was very satisfied, the family asked to renew the reservation for another night. Since this room has been booked, I chose another room type twin room. The environment should be said to be still very good, but because of the huge sound from the next door, my mother did not rest for one night. We thought it was the sound of the air conditioner host. The boss said that it was the sound of the refrigerator. No matter what the sound was, he didn't sleep well all night. In addition, there were obvious spider webs above the room lights, and the boss also cleaned them in time. Overall it is good, but I still hope that the owner of the hotel can improve the service and find the problem before the guests solve the problem.
MM264641****1. The location of this hotel is excellent. If you're taking a Three-Star cruise to Yangshuo, you absolutely must book here – you'll thank me later! It's just 50 meters to the right after you exit the pier.
2. The hotel's facilities are incredibly comprehensive. Want to eat? Head to the first floor. Looking for a coffee or bar? The top floor has you covered. It's so convenient, no need to constantly search for places outside. Plus, the rooftop view is fantastic.
3. The hotel rooms are very comfortable, especially those with a garden balcony.
4. The hotel staff are also very kind and friendly. I ordered takeout, and a staff member personally delivered it to my room, which was a really thoughtful touch.
Unless you're opting for a high-end guesthouse room with a scenic view in Yangshuo, this place is a no-brainer – definitely book it!
11510117****I can't believe the best hotel I've ever stayed at is in Guilin! It's not about extravagant design, but every detail reflects thoughtfulness. All the staff I encountered were incredibly easygoing and attentive, without needing extra words.
In the evenings, you can dine while enjoying the Twin Pagodas of Sun and Moon, and for breakfast, you can admire the unique green mountains. The location is super convenient; just downstairs, you can run or stroll along the river, and at night, there's a snack street right next door.
The hotel's own restaurant serves excellent dinner, and breakfast is also provided by the restaurant. Every dish is prepared by a real chef, featuring freshly stewed chicken soup, steamed phoenix claws, homemade red bean and Job's tears drink, and more. It's not a pile of pre-made, additive-filled dishes; it's the kind of breakfast that actually motivates me to get out of bed!
The red bean and Job's tears soup for the goodnight sweet soup was also absolutely perfect!
They even offer in-room foot massages, and the therapists were super charming!
Plus, there were essential oil souvenirs and intangible cultural heritage handicrafts as gifts!
In short, I couldn't find a single flaw! I absolutely must come back to stay again!

JJimu4It had been 13 years since my last visit to Yangshuo, and some things were a bit hazy. This time, I arranged a family trip, and I was quite excited. Before we left, I searched platforms for suitable accommodations. After seeing the descriptions and pictures, I chose this hotel.
1. The Zhuchuang Xiyu Resort Hotel (Yangshuo Shili Hualang Yulong River Branch) isn't in the town center, and I didn't need to stay there or near West Street. However, the hotel's location is convenient for getting around, right in the Shili Hualang (Ten-Mile Gallery).
2. The hotel has its own parking lot with free parking, making it easy to come and go.
3. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, providing information about the hotel and Yangshuo tourism.
4. The room was very spacious, incredibly comfortable for three people, and the cleanliness was excellent.
It truly is a great choice for family accommodation. Thanks again to the hotel staff. Take a look at the photo I attached – it's the view from my room window. That's exactly what drew me here, and I believe it will draw you too.

AAiruisiBringing my child to Xingping Ancient Town, I was incredibly lucky to have picked this hotel. If you're looking for a peaceful escape within a scenic area and a relaxing time with your kids, this place is an absolute gem.
1. It's just a few minutes' walk from the famous 20-yuan banknote photo spot and only about a hundred meters from the Li River. The location is absolutely fantastic.
2. The hotel itself is incredibly photogenic; every corner is a picture-perfect spot. The rooftop boasts a beautiful landscape pool, and on the ground floor, there's a shallow children's pool which the kids absolutely adored. I heard from the owner that the pool uses natural well water, making it even better.
3. The room decor is fantastic, featuring a large bathtub, electric curtains, and a very comfortable bed. The shower water was nice and hot, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning mountain views. I absolutely loved it!
4. Breakfast is a buffet, offering Guilin rice noodles, congee, and bread – all very delicious. The dining environment and service were also excellent.
5. My only minor complaint is that traffic within the scenic area can be quite congested.
AAnonymous UserSince I'd never been to Guilin before, I decided to do some serious research for my trip back home this time. But the sheer amount of information online was overwhelming. When I was booking a hotel, I noticed this B&B in Xingping Ancient Town had exceptionally high reviews, almost no negative ones. What really sold me was that many people mentioned the owner helps plan itineraries, so I booked a 4-night stay without hesitation. The result exceeded my expectations; the facilities and services at Yunshanggu were excellent, and the room layout was sensible and clean. The three-day itinerary planned by the owner, Kitty, turned out to be fantastic and perfectly suited our tastes. Especially climbing the mountain behind the property and riding electric bikes to Xindong to watch the sunset over Nine-Horse Mural Hill – these were off-the-beaten-path routes that avoided crowds and were full of delightful surprises. Huge thanks to all the staff at Yunshanggu; their discreet yet ever-present thoughtfulness and service allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our vacation.
MM274136****This was our first visit to Beihai, and we specifically chose the Shangri-La Hotel primarily for its stunning environment. The biggest draw for us was its private beach, renowned for its beautiful sunsets, as well as the swimming pool with water slides and engaging family-friendly activities. Upon arrival, a warm and friendly gentleman greeted us right from the taxi, helping with our luggage and guiding us to check-in. The front desk staff member was equally attentive, meticulously explaining all the details of our room package. Our room itself was spacious and bright, truly living up to its 'sea-view' name. Drawing back the curtains revealed not only the beautiful ocean but also a picturesque boardwalk stretching over the water. We even enjoyed a spectacular sunset right from our window in the evening – it was absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's dining options were extensive, featuring fresh ingredients and top-notch service. The family activities were thoughtfully curated, catering to children of all ages with fun and well-planned programs. The beachcombing on the private beach felt particularly safe and wasn't crowded; an early start even yielded some wonderful treasures. Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable stay and the perfect choice for a relaxed family getaway. Highly recommended!
