The hotel's location is pretty good, and I used points to upgrade my room, which was a nice bonus. However, I have to mention two things that weren't so great. First, the hot water kept fluctuating between scalding hot and freezing cold, making showering an ordeal of endless temperature changes – I couldn't just stand under the water comfortably. Second, when customer service reached out via WeChat, they asked me to include their nickname in my reply. It would be really helpful if they introduced themselves when we first meet, because otherwise, I have no idea which staff member I'm talking to from our previous interactions.
Everything felt perfect. The hotel environment was excellent, with expansive views and a great sense of space, offering peace and tranquility. The room was also very good, with top-notch heating – it was delightful to cozy up on the sofa and gaze at the distant village buildings! I absolutely must commend the hotel staff's service; they were very attentive and considerate. Pick-ups and drop-offs were punctual, their advice was spot-on, and they were both thoughtful and discreet. The unlimited freshly ground coffee and drinks, comfortable afternoon tea, and the lingering melodies of the Dong village songs all contributed to a wonderful experience.

My stay in Guiyang was absolutely perfect! I chose this hotel located at Beida Resources Dream City near Guiyang North Station. The moment I stepped into the room, I was captivated by the stunning view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The abundant natural light made the whole space bright and warm. The separate desk and dining table were perfectly designed, making it incredibly convenient for both work and dining. The shower and toilet were separate, with a thoughtful independent washbasin. I have to commend the hotel staff; their demeanor was as gentle as a spring sun, always ready to assist. When I needed some documents printed urgently, they quickly took care of it. The hotel amenities were fantastic: the laundry room with a dryer solved any worries about cleaning clothes, and there was free parking, a free printing office area, plus complimentary coffee, milk tea, juice, and hot/cold mineral water to enjoy leisurely after a tiring day. Services like self-service shoe shining, umbrella rental, and free luggage storage were all available, and they even offered regular and special invoices. The surrounding transportation was convenient; the subway easily took me to Qianling Park in the city center, which is a happy home for animals where you can have a wonderful encounter with cute macaques. It was also easy to check out nearby scenic spots. There were many great food options nearby, like the famous Siwawa, which tasted amazing and comes highly recommended!

The room was impeccably clean, not a speck of dust in the corners, and absolutely no strange odors, which made our stay incredibly reassuring. The bedding was so soft and plush, like being wrapped in a cloud, and I instantly relaxed the moment I lay down. My sleep quality was excellent! The biggest surprise was the huge bathtub; a warm soak melted away all the day's fatigue. The projector even came with VIP membership, so I could lie in bed and binge-watch trending shows and movies – it was awesome, a truly fantastic experience! On a side note, I have to rave about Guiyang's food: sour soup fish, Siwawa, and Changwang noodles were all delicious, every bite a feast for the taste buds. Combined with such a comfortable hotel, my travel happiness factor just exploded. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!
The B&B has an excellent location with fantastic views from the room. The overall decor creates a very peaceful and serene atmosphere. The room was clean, just as I expected. The service was also very thoughtful; a driver specifically picked us up from the high-speed rail station, and upon arrival, someone helped carry our luggage upstairs to the room. I especially loved their complimentary coffee, black tea, and delicious, generous breakfast. It was a wonderful B&B experience, and if I ever get the chance to visit Dong Village again, I would definitely choose to stay here!
Overall Impression: Best Location in the Scenic Area, Excellent Views and Service
The Wujiangzhai Miao King Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as the best hotel within the scenic area, leaving a lasting impression with its location and attentive service. The room's balcony directly faces the scenic area's central location—the White Pagoda and terraced fields—offering expansive views that are picturesque whether viewed from the morning mist or the nighttime lights.
Service Highlights: Thoughtful and Clear Directions
* A dedicated staff member added me on WeChat after booking, sending route instructions in advance, which was very convenient.
* Upon arrival at the parking lot, staff proactively helped with luggage and guided me to the shuttle bus for check-in. It's recommended to pack light for easier movement within the scenic area.
* The front desk staff were welcoming and proactively reminded me of the Wujiangzhai performance schedule, helping me plan my itinerary.
Accommodation Experience: Comfort and Attention to Detail
* I received a complimentary room upgrade with a fully automated toilet, a complimentary mini-bar, and a gift bag (fruit and bottled water). However, I suggest adding local snacks or creative souvenirs to the gift bag for a more thoughtful touch.
• Breakfast service was good, but the selection was somewhat limited, possibly due to the off-season. A semi-buffet style would be recommended to offer more choices and reduce waste.
Dining Suggestion: More Flexible Hours
The hotel restaurant's dinner closing time is relatively early (8 PM), which is tight for guests wanting to watch the 7:20 PM iron flower performance. Extending serving hours or offering simpler meal options would improve the experience.
Areas for Improvement: Significant Disappointment with Partnered Projects
The only regret during this experience was the Miao ethnic costume rental service offered in partnership with the hotel. As a complimentary gift from the hotel, it should have been a pleasant surprise, but the poor service detracted from the experience:
• Staff were consistently indifferent, the costume selection was limited, and they constantly pushed paid makeup services;
• After refusing additional charges, service almost stopped; there was no guidance on what to wear or any explanation, leaving guests to figure things out on their own;
• The high deposit (500 RMB) and short rental period (2 hours) significantly diminished the overall experience.
As a high-end hotel (room rates in the 1-2K range), the service quality of the cooperative project should match the hotel's positioning. Since this is offered as a privilege to guests, the experience should be complete and respectful. Otherwise, it's better not to offer it at all, to avoid affecting guests' first impression of the hotel.
In summary: Miao Wang Hotel excels in location, views, and core services, making it the top choice for accommodation when visiting Wujiang Village. If the cooperative project can be optimized and adjusted, and the breakfast and souvenir options can be expanded, the overall experience will be even better. Looking forward to seeing you all again, even more perfect!

The environment is very good and the hygiene is very clean. The private bath has a large space and the experience is very good. There are very few people in the hot spring, and you can basically have the pool to yourself. Free bath towels and warm water are provided. The hot spring is equipped with complete facilities such as showers and changing rooms. Overall it is highly recommended.
This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's within walking distance to Jiaxiu Tower, and surrounded by amazing food spots. Must-try restaurants like Guichu, You Boma's Old Guiyang Beef Noodles, and Qiaobajiao are all very close by. From the 55th-floor lobby, you get panoramic views of Guiyang. If you want to avoid crowded spots, you can still enjoy the beautiful night view of Jiaxiu Tower right from the hotel lobby. It's perfect for those who are short on time but don't want to miss out on Guiyang's stunning scenery and delicious food. Even during Chinese New Year, the room rates didn't increase much. They provide Lanvin toiletries, eight bottles of water, and a complimentary mini-bar, making it excellent value for money. Stellar and Monica provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service; they arranged a non-smoking room for us and even gave a small gift to our child. We'll definitely choose to stay here again when we visit Guiyang in the future.
Facilities: Complete
Cleanliness: Average, the tabletops were dusty when wiped.
Environment: The parking lot was quite run-down, but everything else was fine.
Service: We were two people staying, and the laundry required a credit card, so we asked the front desk for an extra key card. After discussing it, they promised to send one, but it still didn't arrive after half an hour. After further discussion, they finally sent an elevator card. This delayed the laundry process, causing more people to wait in line, and the wait was long. The service was indifferent, and we couldn't understand why they couldn't provide a spare key card! Overall, it completely impacted our trip and our stay. The front desk staff completely lacked the service ethic expected of a star-rated hotel! Not only did they fail to provide convenience, but they also promised things but didn't deliver!
The room was spacious and bright with an excellent view, overlooking Dongshan Temple to the east and Jiaxiu Tower to the south. An extra bed cost 350 RMB and included breakfast.
Room service was excellent; they provided an abundance of bottled water daily, more than we could possibly drink.
The executive lounge's afternoon tea selection was a bit sparse, and wine wasn't available during happy hour. However, the lounge itself was usually quiet with few diners. Unlike a resort hotel with abundant dining choices, the main dining areas elsewhere in the hotel were still absolutely packed.
Breakfast leaned heavily towards Guizhou cuisine, and many dishes were unfamiliar or not to my liking. Items like crispy pork cracklings and pork intestines were common, and approximately 80% of the Chinese hot dishes were spicy. The steamed bun selection was consistently unvaried, offering just pork buns and custard buns, and their taste was mediocre. After eating for five consecutive days, by the last two days, the food had become completely unappetizing, and I was quite tired of it.
Despite the breakfast issues, I extended my stay for another three nights, primarily because of the excellent room and service.

SSmit_94Wow! Where do I even begin…?! Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived until we left, we experienced friendliness from all the staff members. They were all always eager to help and most of them can speak a little English but the translator works wonders as well and they were all very patient with using it. We initially only booked for one night but once arriving at the hotel and seeing the premises and rooms, we knew we had to immediately book another night as it exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, the room we were in wasn’t available for the second night but the staff upgraded us to a better room for the second night with one of the most amazing views! Breakfast was served as a buffet, it’s not very big but it has everything you need and it was delicious! There is a tea experience daily after 6:30pm where you can sit around the fire and grill some nuts, potatoes, sweet potatoes and snack on fruits while sipping on some iced white tea. On the 4th floor of the main building there is also a tea room where you can make your own tea and sip on it while enjoying the magnificent views from the viewing deck. On our second day, Jiao Jiao, the manager of the hotel, took us to the Baling River museum of bridges as well as to the viewing point of Dishuitan Waterfall. She was so helpful, friendly & kind. This hotel will forever be special to us as we got engaged here on our first night so we will definitely be back for many more visits in the future. I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. If you find yourself looking for a place to relax and unwind, look no further! Book this hotel, you won’t regret it! Special thank you to all the staff that helped us during our stay - 小陶、小万和小绒 - you were all so attentive and went above and beyond. All I can say is thank you!! See you again soon!

GGuest UserOur stay during this Guizhou trip was absolutely wonderful! The guesthouse's setting was incredible, nestled amidst lush greenery, offering a peaceful and private atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The most delightful surprise was encountering adorable cats and dogs. Both the swimming pool and hot tub had crystal-clear water and excellent designs, making them perfect for a relaxing dip and some fun. The service from the front desk staff was absolutely outstanding. They were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to assist with any request, and any issues were addressed promptly and efficiently. We truly felt a warm sense of belonging, just like being at home. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserThough it is in the centre of the town, foot path to hotel is narrow and uneven.
room is clean and upgraded to facing the valley, which lighted at night.
No food service in this establishment.
To get here, from North entrance, take the bus to the end. then walk 400m along the river, wait at the ABC (agriculture Bank of China) for hotel staff to help you carry the bag.
If you can not contact the hotel, proceed to next alley with few steps up, you see Fire Department and Firetruck, then turn left , there is a arch with Sign of Boyun hotel, turn right follow the sign up. not recommended for people with walking impairment /large suitcase/poor eye sight or rainy day.
We had our suitcase deliver to north gate . 15rmb each.
MM37791****A hidden gem of a hotel, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle, with a plethora of cultural experiences.
★★★★★ Environment and Service: The hotel is a typical traditional building with white walls and gray tiles. The courtyards and greenery are beautifully maintained, with picturesque views at every turn. Stepping inside instantly separates you from the noise of the ancient town's commercial street, creating a sense of peace. The staff are very friendly and responsive, making guests feel right at home.
★★★★★ Special Activities: The hotel's special activities deserve praise! There are daily tie-dyeing and handicraft classes, as well as night tours of the ancient town.
★★★☆☆ Dining Recommendations: Objectively speaking, the hotel's dining options could be improved. My friend and I found the complimentary snacks rather ordinary and unremarkable. The breakfast also lacked variety and the distinctive features of other five-star hotel breakfasts. Hopefully, the hotel will focus more on improving the taste of its dishes, making it even more perfect.
In short, if you are looking for tranquility, enjoy a cultural atmosphere, and appreciate experiential travel, I highly recommend Zhuangyuan Bieyuan.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very close to the scenic spot, and the boss will take you there by electric car. My wife had a sore throat, and the boss drove the electric car to take her to buy medicine! We didn't eat out at night, so we ordered food at the B&B, which was also very good! The noodles for breakfast were also delicious! In short, this is a highly recommended hotel! Note: The TV can be projected!
MMaxiaowenThis is definitely the top choice hotel when visiting Huangguoshu. The off-season price was incredibly cheap! We used the VIP通道 (guest passage) and perfectly explored the Great Waterfall and Water Curtain Cave in two hours. After all, these are the two core attractions. If you're like me, just buying the entrance ticket and escalator pass is enough; the park shuttle bus I bought wasn't even used. As for the hotel itself, though it's been around for a while, it's cozy and comfortable. The heating was powerful, and a bath in the tub left me feeling completely relaxed. The soy milk at breakfast was especially delicious; I even filled a thermos with soy milk and grabbed a small bread to take with me to rush to the Water Curtain Cave early – both were quite tasty. The service was also great, and the park environment is nice.
MM237490****Facilities: Well-equipped and comfortable to stay in.
Hygiene: Clean and odor-free.
Environment: Great scenery! You can even 'climb to the rooftops' from the hotel lobby! (meaning, the views are so open and expansive).
Service: Customer service staff responded promptly and courteously.
Observation deck luggage transfer service: After reaching Bridge No. 5, porters assisted with luggage transfer all the way, which was very labor-saving and nice.
24-hour butler service: Prompt responses.
GGuest UserThe owner sent us a travel guide right away, and once we arrived in the Miao village, we easily found the hotel by following the video! So thoughtful! Before checking in, I told the owner our clothes weren't dry yet, as it wasn't midnight and we couldn't check into the room. Upon arrival, the owner immediately upgraded our room for free, asked how many hangers we needed, showed us a map of the entire Miao village and explained everything, and even sent us a very comprehensive travel guide. Seeing we had a lot of luggage, they helped us with our room. They were also very patient in explaining anything we didn't understand during our trip. There were also adorable cats in the guesthouse, which was very cozy. The room was also very nice, and the towels were disposable and very clean. In short, it was a very good and cozy guesthouse.
CChunaixiaoguaiThe room was unexpected. The front desk lady provided excellent service. She also took the initiative to contact us in advance. Because we had a lot of luggage, the front desk lady also arranged for staff to pick us up and help us with our luggage. She also introduced the scenic area and gave us the tour route. The room was upgraded. The room we originally booked did not have a view. We were upgraded to a balcony view king room for free. You can see the panoramic view of the Miao village. You don't need to climb the mountain to see the panoramic view. The hotel is located in the center of the Miao village. It is convenient to go anywhere. It is especially worth recommending 👍👍👍
