Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort. A special thanks to front desk staff member Riri for doing her best to coordinate a suitable room according to my request. Also, the butler and maintenance technician resolved an air conditioning issue in the middle of the night. The professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm of all the staff at The St. Regis Lhasa Resort, from top to bottom, brought warmth and moved us during our time in Lhasa. There's no distinction of 'high or low' among people; hotel guests and staff simply have different roles and responsibilities. The key lies in how guests' concerns are addressed and the attitude and problem-solving approach of the staff when issues arise. We had booked a basic room, but because I'm sensitive to noise, Riri helped us upgrade to a quieter room. The air conditioning in our room would turn on automatically after being turned off. Around 1 AM, the maintenance technician came back and forth three times. Eventually, they decided to turn off the AC's circuit breaker and fix it the next day (which they did). Before we left, they even sent a small gift as an apology. Breakfast was decent, but I'd describe it as exquisite in presentation, bland in taste, and lacking variety. However, I've also tried meals at the Shangri-La Lhasa, the Crowne Plaza Linzhi, and the Songtsam Bason Co Linka, where some ingredients are even transported from Sichuan in advance due to special circumstances. The taste is generally similar across the board. Given the challenging environment, I believe they've done their best to achieve this level. Regarding some of the room's hardware, there's definitely room for improvement, and the hotel itself is aware of this. I hope to see improvements in the future. I forgot to take photos of the hotel.

The location is superb. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Potala Palace. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants and shops. The restaurant on the sixth floor offers excellent views of the Potala Palace, perfect for both sunrise and sunset. The room boasts a rare 180-degree view of the Potala Palace, which is a wonderful treat. The hotel facilities are excellent, including oxygen concentrators available for both diffused and nasal use. The service is impeccable; the front desk staff are always incredibly helpful whenever needed. The hotel also has a laundry room and a reading room.

This homestay really exceeded expectations, the decoration style is elegant and beautiful, the facilities are complete, and the bedding is soft and sleeps particularly peaceful. The surrounding environment is quiet and comfortable, and it is particularly healing from the hustle and bustle. The landlord is kind and easy-going, and the answer is very intimate. The living experience is full. It is really worth everyone to stay!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights when I first arrived in Lhasa and really liked it. After a few days of touring outside the city, I returned to Lhasa and chose to stay here again. The hotel's breakfast offers great value for money – it's not expensive but has a good variety of options. Other positives have already been mentioned in previous reviews, so I won't repeat them.

This was my first time visiting Tibet, and I chose the Shangri-La. The front desk had a short-haired young lady who was incredibly friendly and even upgraded our room. The welcome fruit and small welcome cakes were a lovely touch. The hotel's medical room was also a lifesaver. When a family member experienced altitude sickness, they immediately got an IV and oxygen. Plus, we could take an oxygen tank back to the room for 780 RMB. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk to the Tibet Museum and a 10-minute walk to Norbulingka. Taxis are also readily available for getting around. The breakfast selection was extensive. While the afternoon tea and dinner options weren't vast, they were all delicious. My only minor complaint would be that upon check-in, no one escorted us to our room or helped with our luggage. For first-time guests, dragging two large suitcases and suffering from altitude sickness, it took a while to find our room.

Xuelong Manor, located on a river island south of Lhasa, boasts a beautiful riverside setting. It's conveniently close to popular attractions like Potala Palace, Barkhor Street, and Norbulingka. The hotel features Tibetan-style decor with excellent facilities, including diffused oxygen supply and portable professional oxygen concentrators. Dining options are abundant, with a lavish breakfast spread and various restaurants offering Sichuan, *******, and Western cuisines. The service is exceptional, particularly the front desk staff who are friendly and enthusiastic. Our family of three received a suite upgrade, and the front desk kindly stored our oxygen cylinders for us. The bedding is comfortable, and the overall environment is peaceful. My only minor complaint is that the upgraded suite had central air conditioning ducts above the bedroom, causing a low-frequency noise at night. I hope this can be improved in the future. Overall, it's highly recommended for families and friends traveling together!

My stay at Jicai International Hotel (Potala Palace Barkhor Street Branch) during my trip to Lhasa far exceeded my expectations! The location is unbeatable; it's about a ten-minute walk to Potala Palace Square, with Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple also nearby, making it super convenient to explore the old city. The rooms are equipped with diffused oxygen, which is incredibly helpful for those new to high altitudes, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep and effectively alleviating altitude sickness discomfort. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were top-notch. The front desk manager, Lamu, provided warm and thoughtful service, making check-in efficient. There's also a self-service laundry room, which is very practical for long road trips. The rooftop platform offers distant views of the Potala Palace at night. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Lhasa.

My stay at the InterContinental Lhasa Paradise was made truly unforgettable by the meticulous and warm service of our butler, Dekyi Nancy. She was the reason this was my most memorable travel experience in Lhasa. Dekyi Nancy is gentle and enthusiastic, highly professional, and incredibly thoughtful. She consistently anticipated our needs, always putting herself in the guest's shoes, and every detail reflected her genuine care. Each morning, I would wake up to her timely and warm good morning message. She frequently checked in on our stay and paid special attention to our well-being as we adjusted to the high altitude. She thoughtfully reminded us about altitude sickness precautions, diet, and rest, her delicate care truly touching our hearts. I've stayed in many high-end, luxury hotels before, but I've never experienced such sincere, attentive, and genuinely warm butler service. There was no perfunctory formality, just heartfelt care. Throughout our trip, no matter what we needed, she was always there to patiently coordinate and resolve issues immediately. Every request was met with a response, and every matter was handled, which made us feel incredibly secure and at ease in a foreign land. The entire trip was comfortable and restorative. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, the environment is elegant, and coupled with Dekyi Nancy's perfect, attentive service, the overall experience was absolutely exceptional. The next time I come to Lhasa, I will definitely choose this hotel first and will wholeheartedly recommend the InterContinental Lhasa Paradise and its attentive butler, Dekyi Nancy, to all my friends and family.

1. This is by far the best value, most comfortable, and tastiest hotel in Lhasa. I first stayed here during the Keriya Pass trip and was so impressed that I've returned every time since, and have even recommended it to friends. 2. The service is consistently excellent, the rooms are spacious, and they provide oxygen, humidifiers, and ample heating. The parking lot is also large. 3. The breakfast is incredibly diverse and genuinely delicious – it's got that authentic wok-hei flavor! It's far superior to many five-star hotels that offer variety but lack taste. They even provide convenient individual bread portions for takeaway. 4. I didn't have time to eat fruit at breakfast, so a lovely front desk attendant kindly packed a small box for me. So thoughtful! The fruit was sweet and fresh, and the quality was excellent. 5. Because of this Lhasa hotel, I now only consider staying at Pingcuo Kangsang hotels whenever I'm in Tibet. I truly recommend it!

Traveling to Nyingchi, Tibet with my child during the summer vacation, we stayed at this hotel before our return flight. The main advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the airport, only a 10-minute drive, which is much more convenient than coming from downtown Nyingchi. Another plus is the hotel's beautiful location, nestled by mountains and water. If we weren't catching an early flight the next morning, I would have loved to stay here longer. The hotel rooms have excellent floor-to-ceiling windows offering unbeatable views. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was generous. Overall, I'm quite satisfied!
