Drawing back the curtains in the room, the Potala Palace appears in full view, unobstructed, offering unique and stunning scenery in the morning, at dusk, and at night. The hotel's attention to detail is truly thoughtful, providing the 'Lhasa essentials': oxygen, underfloor heating, and humidifiers, which greatly alleviate the discomfort of high-altitude travel. The daily complimentary fresh fruit and free postcard mailing service make you feel incredibly well-cared for. The location is also impeccable; it's just a few minutes' walk to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street, making it super convenient to explore Lhasa's main attractions. The viewing restaurant on the sixth floor offers excellent views, allowing you to enjoy breakfast or afternoon tea while admiring the Potala Palace, creating an absolutely fantastic atmosphere.

Our butler, Alan, provided excellent service. The hotel's location is generally good, and some room types even offer views of the Potala Palace. They provide complimentary fruit and yogurt, and there's a turndown service where they make the bed and arrange your shoes. The front desk staff are all very handsome and beautiful, and incredibly friendly. Breakfast was also fantastic. Very satisfied!

, the room is very warm, and the pillows are carefully prepared for three heights, one of which is a latex pillow, and the mattress is a little harder. The first floor is a cafe, designed very carefully, and there is a warm fireplace. I feel that this homestay itself is worth staying for a few more days. Unfortunately, my trip was too fast to have a cup of coffee on the first floor and sit down. The service in the store is also very warm. The person I want to thank is the boss. My things fell in the store. I didn't find them myself. She took the initiative to contact me and told me that she could send them for me. And said that in Tibet, the logistics is very fast. Of course, finally thanks to her, my things from Nyingchi came to me intact again!

AAnonymous UserLooking at the decor, you can tell it must have been beautiful when it was first built, with distinct ******* characteristics. It basically has all the facilities and services a five-star hotel should offer. However, the problem is that after so many years, the facilities are just too old. The cabinet doors don't close properly, the seating cushions are heavily worn, the old-fashioned toilet is very difficult to use, and the glass is foggy – I'm not sure if it's dirty or just aged. I chose a room with a Potala Palace view, but the cloudy glass really spoiled the experience. There were even leftover toenails from previous guests on the carpet, which was quite disgusting. I also have to mention the mini-bar. There were only 6 cans of Coke and Sprite, with no price tags. I assumed they were complimentary, but when I asked, they were 18 yuan each. Seriously, I've stayed in many five-star hotels. If a mini-bar is going to charge, please at least stock it with sparkling water, orange juice, and beer (if not wine or sparkling wine) to look more professional. If you only have these few bottles, either be generous and offer them for free, or just remove them. The current approach feels a bit cheap. Overall, this hotel definitely needs a renovation.

YYulia.小妍Location is great, room is clean and spacious, shower is hot, endless water is provided, the room has everything necessary, even disposable towels, and all for a reasonable price. The staff is doing a great job running the hotel, they generously upgraded me to a beautiful large mountain-view room and held my luggage while I was touring Namucuo lake. Thanks!

MMendel2haoLet me start with a few direct impressions: 1. After booking, I asked if they could pick me up from Lhasa Station. No problem, a Mercedes sedan was arranged! 2. Upon arrival, the front desk asked if it was my first time in Tibet and Lhasa. It was, so they offered me a cup of Rhodiola tea to relieve fatigue and help with acclimatization! 3. I stayed for two consecutive nights and got a free upgrade to a deluxe twin room! Can any other tourist city in the country beat that kind of service? Additionally, the hotel's decor and interior exude a strong ******* style and ambiance. Facing Nanshan, the words ”Long Live the Motherland” are clearly visible. It's also very close to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Tibet Museum, and Norbulingka (all within a 20-minute walk).

AAilvxingdexiaxiaojieWhen I first arrived in Lhasa, I stayed at Jicai, primarily because of its cleanliness and its proximity to the Potala Palace and Barkhor Street. My experience after checking in was excellent. After my trip to Nyingchi and Mêdog, I booked Jicai again. If you experience altitude sickness, the lobby provides an oxygen concentrator, and the rooms even have diffused oxygen supply. I had wanted to try breakfast in Lhasa, so on my last day, I bought the hotel's breakfast and discovered their noodles (fen) are really good. I regretted not booking a room with breakfast included. If you're still debating whether to book breakfast, my advice is to go for it if you like sour and spicy noodles, because their breakfast noodles are delicious. Delicious, delicious! Front desk service was good, and honestly, Jicai offers great value for money. Highly recommended.

BBubles~Service: The lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. We had booked a twin room, but she proactively upgraded us to a family suite! The room was spacious and decorated with unique ethnic characteristics. Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, even including a medical oxygen concentrator! They also provide nasal cannulas. Everything you could possibly need is available. Environment: Excellent, and the soundproofing is good! There's also a Nepalese restaurant on the top floor of the hotel that many locals frequent, and hotel guests even get a discount! The hotel's location is also superb; it's only about a ten-minute walk to Jokhang Temple (at a leisurely pace, typical for Lhasa) and very close to the bus stop. There's also a delicious cold noodle shop right next to the hotel downstairs! I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Lhasa!

GGuest UserThe room is very clean and hygienic. The breakfast is good, with rich variety and spacious environment. The bedding is very comfortable, clean and has no smell of smoke. Oxygen is available 24 hours in the lobby, and hot drinks are welcome - Rhodiola in the lobby: I have not experienced these two. Coke and Wanglaoji are free in the room. It is worth noting that not all rooms have oxygen, and you need to book a ”room supply” room. The hotel restaurant is also OK. The portion is large and the taste is good, suitable for those who don't want to walk out.

YYunluanDuring the two days in Shanzeju, the peach blossoms bloomed more and more every day, and I felt the romance of winter🥰 The hotel environment is very beautiful, making us feel warm and comfortable during the journey. We arranged afternoon tea for us. For dinner, we can go to the ******* family to taste the farmhouse. The sweet tea is very delicious, with a strong milky aroma and not too sweet. Special praise goes to Mr. Wang and Azhen, who are very attentive and enthusiastic in every detail, and their service exceeds that of a five-star resort hotel🫶🏻🫶🏻🥰🥰 Travel to Nyingchi ”Milin”, come to Shanzeju to feel the charm here👍🏻👍🏻
