I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel and felt so comfortable that I stayed more in my room than visiting the city ! At my checkin the receptionist saw I am a cyclist and he immediately suggested that I leave my bike in the luggage area, without having to request, which is exceptional when you travel by bicycle. First impression are lasting impressions… thank you to housekeeping as well for their great attention to guest needs and to details.
Unbeatable value for money!!! I stayed for two nights, but the dinner was a bit mediocre (at this price point, I can forgive all flaws). Since it was for my birthday, I received a surprise bouquet and dessert from the hotel after dinner, which showed great thoughtfulness!!! Thank you! Although the front desk's English wasn't great, as I said, at this price point!! I can forgive all their shortcomings. Plus, every night we had to trouble the front desk staff to drive us to the convenience store, and they'd wait ten minutes to take us back to the hotel. Grateful to all the front desk staff.
Later, I stayed at Ishihara-so, and also mentioned it was for my birthday, but they only gave me a bag of black tea, which felt very perfunctory. That place was much more expensive than here and surprisingly didn't even offer a shuttle bus.
Extremely satisfied with this hotel! It's super convenient, just a one-minute walk from the Shinkansen station. No need to drag your luggage far!
I booked a double room in the North Tower, which was perfect for one person, and the space was decent.
They replaced towels, slippers, and coffee daily.
My booking included breakfast, and you could choose between Japanese and Western options. The Japanese breakfast even had Kagoshima Kurobuta pork hotpot, which was so filling I didn't need to eat again, allowing me to try more things later!
I preferred the Western breakfast; the coffee was good, and the toast was delicious. I ended up having Western breakfast two days in a row, and they also offered takeaway coffee packets and waffles, which was a nice touch!
I'll definitely stay here again when I go to Kagoshima and will recommend it to my friends!
Hotel location is close to the famous sand bath hot spring, you can walk there, you can also buy tickets at the hotel (should be slightly higher than normal price), they will provide towels and cars to go to the sand bath hot spring.
The hotel has a Japanese-style room, the room is wide, facing the sea, and the view is beautiful. As for the western-style room, it is the opposite direction, I don't know how the view is (because we live in Japanese).
One berth and two meals, dinner is kaiseki cuisine, the portion is sufficient, delicious 😋. Breakfast is Japanese set (not buffet), and it is also very satisfying 😊
The hot spring is divided into male soup and female soup, there are baths and open-air winds, each suitable. The spring water is clear and there is no sulfur smell.
The room is oversized, very clean and tidy, and the electrical appliances are fully equipped. The owner of the house is very nice and will give many tips for playing on the island. The yard is equipped with a laundry room, vending machine, and hammock. There is a large parking space in front of each house, which is very suitable for self-driving tours.
