"The location is on the top of the mountain, not very convenient

But it was snowing, and some mountain roads in the snow were not open and not fenced off
We walked in by mistake because the closed mountain roads were not cleared of snow
The car got stuck in the snow
Luckily it was not far from the hotel
The hotel staff quickly helped us tow the car
The hotel service was very good, very satisfied
There was a cooking stove and tableware in the room

Ppuisan fongThis ryokan is the furthest from Main Street. But I love the hospitality from the owner and the authenticity of this place. There is a private onsen available in the ryokan, just need to pre register. They provide access to shibu onsen as well.
Recommended to book your dinner with them. Restaurants in shibu onsen either close very early or not open regularly. We missed our dinner, but the owner is kind enough to prepare a simple oyakudon for us.
Though this place is at the beginning of forest trail to snow monkey park. But it is close during winter. Just take note.

FFussy New YorkerI had a large tatami room with side sitting area and sink as well as an ante-room. I had three delicious Japanese meals at the ryokan that were served with polite elegance. The two in-house onsen baths were a joy to use after a day of skiing. The staff was knowledgeable about how to get around by the buses and suggested the best restaurants for days that I did not eat at the ryokan. Senshinkan Matsuya was situated in the center of.Shibu Onsen town next to three of the public onsen. I could not ask for a better stay!

GGuest UserThis Japanese-style room is booked for friends. It is similar to the twin room layout. There is a sliding door gate, a balcony and a room separated. The bathroom is designed on both sides of the balcony. The difference is that the Japanese-style room is larger in size. There is a sliding door in the middle to divide the room into two rooms. And the bathroom is also a Japanese-style dry and wet separation, the twin room is an ordinary Western-style bathroom, everything in the room is very new and clean ～ and the two insulation pots are filled with hot water and ice water when checking in, very intimate!
The photos are breakfast → afternoon rice balls and snacks → welcome refreshments ～

Yyok現地で料追加費用についての案内が不親切で、トラブルになった。
Trip.comでは大人3人、中学生と小学生の5人で予約し、食事は4人分との案内だったので、子供1人分の食事を追加でオーダーした。施設に着いたら、エージェントからエクスペディアで4人分の予約になってるとのことだったので、そもそも予約サイトが異なり、5人の予約になっていると予約画面を見せて確認した。
予約内容は了解したとのことで、追加の食事代がいくらかを確認したが、その時点で明確な返答がもらえず、チェックアウトの際に、そもそも食事のみの追加の設定がないため、1泊2食付きの正規料金（trip.com経由より高い金額）になるが、同じ料金でよい、とのこと。
いやいや、こちらは追加の子供の食事代の支払い程度で済むつもりが、その設定がなくて、却って高くなるのに、確認した時には回答せずにチェックアウトの際に伝えられて、最新の設備の施設というわけではないが、温泉も部屋も食事も満喫できただけに、不愉快な気分で宿をあとにすることになって残念だった。
