This ryokan is the furthest from Main Street. But I love the hospitality from the owner and the authenticity of this place. There is a private onsen available in the ryokan, just need to pre register. They provide access to shibu onsen as well. Recommended to book your dinner with them. Restaurants in shibu onsen either close very early or not open regularly. We missed our dinner, but the owner is kind enough to prepare a simple oyakudon for us. Though this place is at the beginning of forest trail to snow monkey park. But it is close during winter. Just take note.

This Japanese-style room is booked for friends. It is similar to the twin room layout. There is a sliding door gate, a balcony and a room separated. The bathroom is designed on both sides of the balcony. The difference is that the Japanese-style room is larger in size. There is a sliding door in the middle to divide the room into two rooms. And the bathroom is also a Japanese-style dry and wet separation, the twin room is an ordinary Western-style bathroom, everything in the room is very new and clean ～ and the two insulation pots are filled with hot water and ice water when checking in, very intimate! The photos are breakfast → afternoon rice balls and snacks → welcome refreshments ～

This time I stayed in the newly renovated new wing of the hotel. The room was very comfortable, beautiful and hygienic. The view outside the room was very beautiful. The staff were also very enthusiastic. In addition, free drinks and noodles were provided after taking a bath. I will definitely choose it again next time. here

As a base for climbing Kiso komagatake, I was taken care of in 2 nights and 3 days. It was very close to the bus stop for the ropeway platform and had excellent access. The staff were warm and polite, and I was able to relax from the bottom of my heart. The quality of the hot springs is also excellent, and I am very satisfied that I can heal the tiredness of climbing.
