Other than some initial miscommunication between the hotel staff about my room bookings, everything else went well.
My room and the hotel amenities were clean. Interestingly, housekeeping is done twice a day, which is good in a way, keeps the rooms in top top condition.
The hotel staff were full of smiles and, more impressively, they remembered our requests.
We find the classes organised for hotel guests interesting and engaging.
The food was delicious and healthy. I only wished they had more variety.
The souvenirs are useful and will remind us of our happy stay at Potato Head.

Our stay at Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort was truly exceptional! The resort’s blend of modern luxury and Balinese charm created a perfect tropical escape. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious international and local dishes. The pool area and spa were the ultimate spots for relaxation. The location is ideal — peaceful yet close to stunning beaches and attractions. We left with unforgettable memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Perfect three night stay, opted for club level and we were whisked to the club lounge for check in. After a long flight(s) the warm welcome was much appreciated. The whole team were super friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated/furnished. The only downside was a smell of damp.
The club room was fantastic and we enjoyed breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails and canapés there. The club pool service was also fabulous (soft drinks included all day) and we had cocktails and canapés by the pool one night.
Yasa, our personal butler (!) during the stay was super helpful. He organised a car for us to visit Uluwatu and GMK national park for us.
We loved Sunset Beach bar and also Ko the Japanese restaurant.
Gym was good, we also played tennis which was pretty expensive for a poorly maintained court (included rackets and balls though).
Fabulous stay and would definitely recommend and return

Very convenient location in the busy Kuta area, lot of shops and restaurants either left or right side from the hotel. Also it links to a big shopping mall in Bali so easy to shop around in walking distance. Very friendly hotel staff, smile and greeting always. Hotel breakfast is ok to try, one thing must say is the room towel art are so amazing, give us a great memory especially for my 10 years old boy, he has to write an extra review for this from the triparvisor 😃
Luxurious hotel. Super worth the price! Perfect for a group tour cause it comes with 4 bedrooms. Any excess people can sleep in the living and dining area cause the sofa is huge, very comfy to sleep on, it's like a bed.

Overall the Hotel is lovely, I’d give it a 7/10.
Pros:
good location in Canggu
Breakfast buffet was delicious
Coffee was great!
Decent kids club
Pool is nice but can get overcrowded easily
Kids room is perfect for families as it has bunk beds.
Cons:
Room design is poor and very small. We travelled with a baby and requested a cot. With the cot in the room it became very difficult to move around.
We had to request a bigger room (kids room)
Light switches - these have to be the most confusing switches I’ve ever used. It’s basically a game of pushing them all at different intervals to try and get the correct lights to go on/off
Choose the room with ocean view unless you want to overlook construction sites (but noise didn’t affect in room)
Not pram friendly - limited ramps for pram
The power cut out on consecutive days in our room which was annoying given the heat.
Staff service was average, some struggled to converse in English
Overall, I’d stay there again but would book the bigger room for sure.
Chill place. Very beautiful. Ppl working in the property is very polite and friendly to all guest. Ari is a very nice butler. Nice and chill pool. It's deep at 1.8m i think. Quiet and nice place. The black sand beach is nice. Paddy fields around the property is nice. I had expected there will be mosquitos but I was surprised it didn't have. There was liquid electric repellent in the villa, that is a very nice touch. The bathroom is really nice. Excellent food and afternoon tea in the restaurant, much appreciated.

We had a wonderful honeymoon stay at The Apurva Kempinski Bali. The property is absolutely stunning—grand architecture, lush gardens, and a serene atmosphere that made us feel truly relaxed from the moment we arrived.
Our room had a semi-private pool, which added a special touch of privacy and luxury to our stay. The staff surprised us with a honeymoon cake and welcome drinks, which made us feel extra celebrated and cared for.
Breakfast had a great variety, and we were especially happy to find delicious Indian options available—something we didn’t expect, but really appreciated!
Service was professional and warm throughout. It’s a superb property for couples looking to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the beauty of Bali in a 5-star setting. Highly recommended!

Very nice interior design, super clean room and comfy bed, yummy breakfast, excellent service, peaceful and beautiful environment, amazing dinner at Akasa, the spa was also amazing, it was a perfect stay! The location is further away from the main tourist area so it may not be ideal considering the traffic situation in Bali, but it’s super private and peaceful.
As shown in the pictures, the room is exceptional. It offers a spacious layout with a king-size bed, a large bathtub, and a patio sofa on the balcony overlooking the pool. The room also features a separate shower and toilet, along with a minibar and coffee machine for added convenience.
Breakfast was decent, and the overall service was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located—just a 3-minute walk to Kuta Beach and about 10 minutes to Beachwalk Shopping Centre. There are plenty of eateries, bars, massage centers, and convenience stores nearby.
The pool looked amazing, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to use it due to time constraints during our short 2-night stay. Otherwise, I would highly recommend The Stones for a comfortable and relaxing resort experience in Legian.
