The pedestrian street is bustling both day and night. We booked a king room and even got a free upgrade! The hotel breakfast is served on the 25th floor from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and they even offer a late-night congee service. I feel this hotel offers great value for money. The room was quite spacious, and the shower had good water pressure, making for a very comfortable shower experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

Compared to its appearance, Shilin Hotel seems to be one of the older hotels on the mountaintop, and it's also relatively smaller in scale. Unfortunately, it's not very smart; it doesn't seem to have a sleep mode, which means you have to frequently turn it on and off to avoid getting too hot. The location is quite convenient. The sunset spot organized in winter is Baie Mountain Villa, and the sunrise spot is Mushroom Pavilion at Shixin Peak. However, if you go at the scheduled time, you definitely won't get a front-row view. I recommend heading out at least an hour earlier than the predicted time for that day.

Cece was incredibly responsive and always on top of things, even more so than us when we encountered any issues. It's truly reassuring to have such a reliable concierge when you're traveling.
