Overall, the hotel is ok, you can live, but it would be nice to do a renovation, since the condition of the furniture and interior leaves much to be desired.
The location is excellent, various shops, cafes, Huafu and a pedestrian street are within walking distance.
I booked from December 28 to 29, 2024 for 2500 ₽ on trip com. There were no problems with check-in. They checked me into a room with one double bed and one single bed. The room was warm. Everything you need was in the room.
For that kind of money, I think it's quite normal, for more money it's probably better to look at an alternative.
The bathhouse in the hotel is for an amateur, it costs 33 yuan per person. There are massage services, which you need to be careful when ordering, they can include in the bill secondary services that you did not need. I ordered a foot treatment for 100 yuan, not knowing the technique of this massage, and in the end, due to a misunderstanding or specially imposing additional services, they gave me a foot cleaning for 59 yuan, a pedicure for 79 yuan and a foot massage for 79 yuan.

On my first visit to Harbin, this hotel, which I discovered by chance, was an absolute delight. It boasts an incredibly convenient location for tourists, offers nearly all-day afternoon tea, and a meticulously prepared breakfast featuring both à la carte and buffet options. The service truly rivals that of luxury brands like Four Seasons and Banyan Tree. What particularly stood out was the thoughtful gesture of neatly tying up phone cables after room cleaning – a small detail I had only ever seen before at the Regent Chongqing. We booked a garden room with a private courtyard, and the small patio at the entrance was absolutely charming. The public courtyard is also ideal for outdoor tea and relaxation. Furthermore, the customer service manager and all staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were extremely knowledgeable about Harbin's dining scene and were able to recommend the most unique and authentic restaurants to guests. They even thoughtfully prepared a small farewell gift upon our departure. This is truly a fantastic hotel, worth revisiting two or even three times! I've already recommended it to many friends.

The Ritz-Carlton is essentially the go-to choice for hotels in Harbin. Not that it's perfect, but frankly, hotel options in Harbin are quite limited. The Shangri-La feels too old and dated, and I wasn't keen on staying across the Songhua River, as the Songbei area seems to lack the quintessential urban charm of Harbin. So, the Ritz-Carlton it was. To be honest, while both the Ritz and Shangri-La are situated by the Songhua River, the Ritz's surroundings genuinely lack proper dining options. The area felt quite desolate and lonely. The only truly comforting and enjoyable aspect of staying here was the vibrant cityscape bustling with traffic and illuminated by countless lights when viewed from a high floor at night. Gazing at the night view and chatting, a sense of contentment naturally arises. That's why I gave this hotel a full score.
Of course, I do have a few minor points of feedback, hoping the hotel can make some improvements. This is just my personal opinion and may not represent other guests.
1. The toothbrush bristles were excessively hard, to the point of being able to pierce one's gums.
2. Toothbrushes should ideally be color-coded. When two people stay, having identical toothbrushes makes it very inconvenient to distinguish them. Providing 'his and hers' sets with different colors is standard practice for hotels, yet the Ritz-Carlton surprisingly missed this basic detail.
3. The cotton swab sticks were too flimsy. When trying to clean my ears after a shower to remove water, the stick bent with just a light touch. Even the cheapest cotton swabs shouldn't use such a fragile material.
4. The shampoo was extremely unpleasant to use. This is subjective and not a major issue.
5. A crucial area for improvement is the service. The front desk staff seemed to lack a genuine customer-centric mindset or perhaps management has not empowered them sufficiently. Despite their smiling faces, they often delivered rather insensitive remarks. Moreover, breakfast staff frequently cleared plates at extremely inappropriate times, completely disregarding whether guests were still eating or in the middle of a conversation.
6. Non-guests were roaming freely, playing music loudly on their phones, and children were opening paid snacks from the mini-fridge and eating them endlessly, all without any staff intervention. Meanwhile, actual hotel guests did not receive the attentive and comprehensive service they deserved.
7. For the breakfast wontons, perhaps use a little less filling. Even the staff cooking them felt the current filling was difficult to cook through. With so many guests waiting, it's naturally hard to cook wontons that contain something like a meatball inside. Additionally, the chef really needs to improve the wonton filling, making it juicier and more tender. A tough, dense filling is neither easy to cook nor pleasant to eat. If the chef prepares a tender, flavorful filling, and the wonton-wrapping staff use just a bit less, the wontons would be both easy to cook and delicious.

The room amenities were new and well-maintained. The location was excellent, conveniently close to the subway station and practically right next to the Harbin Ice and Snow World. The staff were incredibly warm and provided exceptional service, even upgrading our room. The front desk was always helpful, answering all our questions and responding quickly. Our room offered a magnificent panoramic view of the majestic Songhua River, which was truly refreshing, with the Harbin skyline and Sun Island clearly visible. It was genuinely an unforgettable stay.

The hotel boasts an excellent location. Its European-style decor, which a staff member informed me was French-inspired, gave it a truly grand and opulent feel. We were welcomed with complimentary fruit and afternoon tea. Breakfast was lavish, offering both Chinese and Western options, including freshly roasted sausages and, surprisingly, a whole leg of lamb! Just 50 meters to the right upon exiting, you'll find yourself in the prime area of Central Street, surrounded by countless restaurants offering a vast selection of Chinese and Western cuisine. For lunch, we sampled Madieer Western Restaurant. St. Sophia Cathedral and the Songhua River banks are also conveniently just over a 10-minute walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going the extra mile. They even gave us candies as a thoughtful farewell gift. Highly recommended!

This is the oldest building I've ever stayed in. Its 1903 elevator is one of only two operational century-old elevators in China, the other being at the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund in Shanghai. I initially thought I wouldn't like this style, but beyond the lobby's dazzling, opulent gold leaf decor, the rooms were surprisingly comfortable with their low-saturation palette of grey-green, brown, and gold. The velvet wallpaper, with its shifting shades depending on the light, demonstrated excellent taste. The service was excellent; we received welcome drinks upon arrival and welcome fruit in the room. Staff members also shared insights into the hotel's history and the lobby's decor. The location is prime, right next to Central Street and Central Mall. Yet, being on Dongfeng Road, which intersects Central Street, it remains relatively quiet. If I had to nitpick, it would be that, due to it being a century-old building with plumbing limitations, hot water takes a few minutes to come through. Additionally, the TV wasn't working, but it didn't bother me, so I didn't ask staff for assistance.

I rarely leave reviews, but Junyi compelled me to make an exception and write a glowing one. It was an incredibly refreshing and rejuvenating stay. After browsing many hotels, I ultimately chose Junyi, and I was met with pleasant surprises from the moment I checked in until I checked out.
The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was efficient and considerate, and they even proactively offered information on local attractions and routes. The attention to detail was absolutely impeccable.
The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and luxurious against the skin – I instantly felt my travel fatigue melt away upon lying down. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were thoughtfully designed. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring a wide variety of hot dishes, pastries, and beverages. The food tasted authentic and delicious, and starting the day feeling completely satisfied and energized made me ready for my activities.
Upon checking out, the staff warmly bade me farewell, making me feel as if I was saying goodbye to dear friends. Next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose Junyi Hotel again!

Best stay ever for me! Everything from the front desk to the housekeeping was great! I arrived quite early than the usual time but was given early in.. the benefits was explained clearly when checking in. Location wise is near a huge shopping mall, other than that its also near to tourist areas. You can even arrange for free pick up service to drive you to either central street or snow world and city. They also can arrange to have the driver to wait for you at the location you dropped off.
There are 2 reindeer to greet you at selected timing. Even witness one of it shredding it's antlers! There are also free coke and Sprite and local drink in their mini bar. Unlimited free flow of night food from 10pm-12 midnight, legit nice beef noodle that I had 3 bowls. There are also free drinks and other local delicious food . For breakfast although I didn't get it, it's until 1pm lol, not a typo. Never heard before any hotel we have breakfast till 1pm. I was told this is because the owner know when we visit harbin we will stay up late, if it's the usual 10am you might miss your breakfast.same for those who need to get up early and still be able to come back to eat
If you book those 72 square meter room they even provide free car rental. Yes all free, just have to top up the fuel, with this benefits you would've save a lot of money.
Special should out to driver wangxin(王新) he drove me to snow world and walked there, even beyond the selected timing because he knows that it will be hard to take taxi back to hotel at late timing. He was also very passionate to introduce all the major location on the way. I was really glad to have met someone like him. Definitely a 5 stars for me!

Excellent customer services provided by the hotel team especially the manager Eric who assisted us for more than beyond during our stay. Our kids enjoyed the hot spring facilities and services in the hotel, but not the private bathtub in our room. Wish the customer staff in the front desk or belt boys should have known or are being trained well about the daily schedule of airport shuttle bus. Anyway, we had a memorable experience of indoor and outdoor hot springs and great time during our 3-day stay!

MM858416****This hotel was an unexpected delight during our trip to Xuexiang. From the moment we stepped inside, a warm and welcoming atmosphere enveloped us. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring my itinerary was perfectly organized. The room facilities were excellent, and everything was spotlessly clean. What I loved most was the tranquility, allowing me to enjoy a truly restful sleep in Xuexiang. It's conveniently located near all the attractions, making getting around a breeze. Highly recommended! 💕

GGuest UserThe room was overall superb, sadly I had to rate the cleanliness low due to the bad and smelly ventilation in the toilet and bathroom, even if I turn on the exhaust it’s really smelly (even before using). Overall loved it with the more secluded area and have my own view of the snowy forest. Staff was definitely friendly, breakfast was alright, beware of bringing overly heavy luggage as there’s no lift, however staff would actually help carry luggage up.
SSoon LeongSnow Town is closed to outside vehicles. To access the hotel you need to hop on a shuttle bus to get to the centre of town. The hotel is a short walk from the bus drop off but the signs are all in Chinese. The hotel is small and cosy with the reception and dining area together as you walk in. We had a ground floor room which was convenient. Room was big and warm with two twin beds. Pillows were supportive and comfortable. Toilet and shower were adequate.
Simple Chinese breakfast provided with porridge and dumplings mostly. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly especially as we spoke Chinese. Nearby eateries and Starbucks for your coffee fix.The local Police also were helpful as I fell down and injured my leg. Had a police car ferry me out to the main entrance terminal free of charge. Talk about good service in China!
YYinYinTravelThe main reason I chose this hotel was for the hot springs and my own convenience. However, I discovered that the hot spring and resort are managed separately, which meant I had to return to the counter to return the key and complete other formalities before I could go back to my room after using the hot spring.
The front desk staff were less friendly, and honestly, the worst I’ve encountered among all the hotels I stayed at during my trip. Their hospitality needs significant improvement.
Additionally, Yabuli is very remote, and transportation is quite inconvenient. The hotel staff didn’t assist us in contacting any drivers. As locals, they could have at least had some contacts or suggestions for transportation, but instead, they dismissed us outright, stating that no transfers were provided.
MMeishibujiatangdequantangThis is my go-to hotel every time I visit Qiqihar, and I returned again, largely for the fantastic local barbecue. As always, it was wonderfully welcoming and comfortable. My license plate was pre-registered, allowing me to park directly in the underground garage without any hassle. The breakfast spread at the restaurant was diverse, featuring delicious Daifuku and rich, aromatic coffee. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite – a truly thoughtful gesture that made my stay even better. A staff member at the front desk was incredibly helpful; after check-in, she proactively sent a message with thoughtful tips on how to use the smart home voice activation system and even pointed out the location of the remote controls. Her service was meticulous and professional, making me feel truly at home. I would definitely choose to stay here again because of her warm and attentive service. The upgraded room featured a smart voice assistant, activated by 'Hello, Jinjiang', and they even offered convenient robot delivery services for takeaways and water. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Feihe Bridge. After dinner, we enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the lake and across the bridge, truly soaking in the relaxed, vacation-like atmosphere.
