3-Star Hotels in Varmland, Sweden

Wonderful time. No serious complaints other than when we booked we thought we were getting a hotel room. Because of a wedding we were moved off the main property. Room was kind of meh. Everything else was quite lovely.

Nothing to do here, just a room with okay standard. The bed is a 3 of 5. Breakfast are a 5 of 5 with nice stuff. You can see the ice hockey rink when you have breakfast and you feel the coldness from the ice.

Loved the delicious food! The room was quiet and comfortable, and I enjoyed having access to the gym. Also, the little town is lovely.

Selma Spa har ett fantastiskt läge och jättefina lokaler. Men hotellet lever inte upp till sin potential på personalsidan. Restaurangpersonalen kändes okunnig och ville bara få jobbet gjort så snabbt som möjligt. Slammer med porslin, inget intresse för gästerna utom vid betalning. Nere på spa samma sak.  Känns som stordrift i spa-branschen utan omtanke. För många unga sommarjobbare?

Das Stadshotellet in Kristinehamn bietet einen hervorragenden Service, es ist zentral gelegen und sieht prächtig aus. Wegen einer Flugverspätung kam ich erst nach Mitternacht an und musste die Nachtwache anklingeln, um mir die Tür zu öffnen. Ich hatte im Voraus gebucht und bezahlt; daher bekam ich ohne weitere Formalitäten den Zimmerschlüssel. Das Einzelzimmer im 3. OG ist klein, aber sauber und das Bett hat eine gute Matratze. Vom Fenster aus konnte ich den Parkplatz meines Mietautos kontrollieren. Leider war auf dem TV kein internationaler Nachrichtensender eingestellt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war überwältigend vielseitig; es war kein Problem nach der 2. Übernachtung am Sonntag zu meinem frühen Aufbruch gegen 6 Uhr morgens eine Frühstückstasche auf den Weg zu bekommen. Im Hotel findet sich auch eine großzügig ausgestattete Lobby-Bar mit einer guten Bandbreite von Drinks. Das Restaurant habe ich nicht in Anspruch genommen. Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlungswürdig, für Einzelreisende, Paare und Gruppen.
