Among the many popular hotels on Heatwave Island, the Taras Beach Spa Resort is an absolute must-visit. For those who love taking photos, there are plenty of great spots on Taras Beach to capture stunning shots, including beach chairs, beachside pools, mottled coconut groves, bird nests, and swings. Especially with the clear and multi-colored seawater on sunny days, the photos taken here are incredibly beautiful.

This suite we stayed in has a bedroom and a living room, and the area is very large.

The houses are built along the mountain, and the higher up the mountain, the higher the altitude and the better the view.

For a family trip of four, I highly recommend a house that is connected together with a door in the middle that can be opened. It is perfect for a parent-child trip with young children.

The hotel has many free family activities!
Including indoor children's playground, as well as ping pong, billiards, chess, and other tabletop games.

Adults can choose to take a boat out to sea for snorkeling, or experience ATV off-road vehicles on the beach. No matter what age group of friends, everyone can have a great time here and parents can also relax while bringing their children.

Dining at the Taras Beach Spa Resort is definitely a pleasure, whether it's Southeast Asian cuisine or exquisite Western dishes, it's a journey of taste buds that leaves you moved time and time again, adding to the enjoyment of your vacation and leisure time.

Transportation:
Hot Wave Island can be reached by boat or plane. Previously, it was a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tenggol, followed by a two-and-a-half-hour boat ride to Hot Wave Island.

We chose SKS Airways for our round trip this time. It only takes one hour of flight time from Kuala Lumpur to Redang Island.

And it's encountering the monsoon that causes ships to stop sailing, but airplanes can still operate, which is the advantage.

Airport to hotel, there is a free shuttle service. The journey takes about five minutes.

Serene Paradise Awaits at Redang Island 🌴💧🌅
Step into a world of crystal-clear waters and powdery white sands—Redang Island is a tranquil haven you won’t forget! The genuine warmth of the islanders makes every moment here feel like a hidden escape. ✨

🛶 Recommended Route:
Take a ferry from Kuala Terengganu straight to Pulau Redang, arriving at the main jetty. From there, stroll to your resort, then head for the seashore at sunrise for unrivaled calm and the gentle sound of waves.

🏊 Must-Do Experiences:
- Go snorkeling around Tanjung Tengah or Pasir Chagar Hutang for mesmerizing coral and vibrant fish (best in the early morning).
- Lounge on Teluk Dalam Beach where peace truly reigns.
- Try kayaking or a chill stand-up paddleboard session.
- Enjoy sunset at Pantai Pasir Panjang—the golden hour here feels magical!

📸 Insta-Worthy Spots:
- Capture wide shots at the sandbar in front of Laguna Resort—perfect mirror reflections!
- Snorkel with a waterproof camera for underwater reef pics.
- Sunset silhouettes at Pasir Panjang Beach.

🔍 Practical Tips:
- The island is open only Mar 1–Oct 31, so plan accordingly.
- Resorts can help arrange tours or snorkeling gear—ask early for better rates.
- Mosquitoes can be fierce at dusk; pack repellent!
- Evenings are quiet, ideal for stargazing.

⚠️ Precautions:
- No ferries during monsoon closure (Nov–Feb); check dates before booking.
- Beware of strong midday sun—safe hours are before 10am and after 4pm.
- Stick to marked swimming zones for safety.
