Absolutely stunning view. Cabin was older but very charming, we made the most of the fireplace in the room and enjoyed a view of the lake from our balcony. Bathroom was clean with everything we needed. Coffee also provided in the room which was nice. I read the beds were uncomfortable on other reviews and I’d partially agree - not the best but again not the main reason or expectation for visiting emerald lake. I will say the pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable.  Staff were very friendly and attentive. Shuttle service was easy. Restaurant was pricey but overall good. No wifi or signal in the room is something to be aware of, but heightened the experience in my opinion. Overall, great!

Hotel is nice and clean, the location is central and close to anything you might need. Best bang for buck hotel I’ve stayed at with breakfast included. Beds could be softer but the pool was greats for the kids and slide was a huge hit.

Facilities: All-inclusive. Hygiene: Housekeeping needs improvement. Ambiance: Good vibe, but the nightclub can be a bit noisy. Service: Feedback provided was promptly addressed, and the staff's attitude was good.

This hotel is under Marriott and is well managed by friendly staff at the front desk. Check-in and check-out are quick and smooth. Indoor guest car parking is just across the street for $9.45. The spacious rooms and bathrooms have significant counter areas decorated with bright lights. Ice machines are on every floor. Washing and drying machines are available for $3 each. The indoor swimming pool opens from 7am to 11pm, and the gym is open 24/7. The only downside was the coil of the air conditioning was installed in the room, so you will hear the big noise when the coil starts to work the room temperature colder.

My husband booked a two night stay at Painter's lodge for my birthday. Apparently the lodge is under new management and just opened 2 days before our stay. This lodge must have been quite the hotel in its day. It needs a lot of work and with love and care I think it will reach its original beauty. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar were not up and running but we were offered a continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, granola bars and juice. The location was perfect and the decor was lovely. It felt like time had been turned back to a wonderful era. Lots of history displayed on the walls. We had a wonderful stay.

Overall the location of the hotel and the room being clean; however, there were some drawbacks from our experience. One drawback was the hotel had a scheduled power outage which we never were given ample notice on. When we arrived we were asked if we got an email advising of the power outage and we advised that we received no such email. The day of the outage everything attached to the hotel was shut off except for one elevator for each tower, and all the restaurants within the facility. Had we known prior to arrival we could have may have decided to stay elsewhere for the one night. No compensation offered. The ****** remained open during the outage but restrooms had no water(very unsanitary) The food court pizza was terrible and the breakfast sandwich did not have much flavour. The buffet was average but had a nice view of the Frazer River.

This hotel is located within Vancouver International Airport, which is incredibly convenient for guests with layovers. The airport isn't far from downtown Vancouver either, and the SkyTrain offers a direct connection. Since we arrived at the hotel in the very early morning, it was difficult to interact with the staff.

Hotel location is in the heart of shopping area. Famous landmarks are within few minutes - even Canada Place is just 15minutes walk straight. If you will come from Pacific Central Station - this is just less than USD10 taxi to reach the hotel. Staff are very welcoming. Room is perfect for us - i like the wash room very spacious, towels are well arranged in rack, most importantly it has wooden floors where it's not too cold for the feet. Beds are comfortable to sleep on and room is very quiet. I highly recommend this place - eateries are within 5 mins walk (Mcdonalds, Kfc, Jollibee, Thai, Tacos, Pizza, bars, etc. Stay here is you want best shopping stores and can find anything here

I called the hotel before my flight to ask about the shuttle bus service, and the girl who answered was like a robot in her answers and didn't seem interested in giving me very detailed or friendly answers. I was a little worried about finding the bus and asked if there was anything I needed to know about how to find the bus, and instead of explaining that the bus would have the name of the hotel on it (which was the case in the end, but isn't always the case in my experience- and I have travelled a lot) she just very robotically said to go to the charter pick up area. The shuttle bus was the main reason I booked this hotel, and I was a little bit choked by this interaction. The room was okay, it was clean, but confusingly unlit. The only light connected to a switch in the room was by the door, the rest of the room was lit only by 4 lamps (one of which didn't work) and it was incredibly dark in the room, even in the morning hours after the sun rose. The comforter on the bed was just a piece of batting sandwhiched in between two white flat sheets rather than a duvet cover. It would have been a nice service to have brought me a toothbrush to my room when I called down to the front desk and requested one, instead they made me come to the front desk in my pajamas for one. The hallways stunk of **** covered up by perfume. The guy who checked me in was nice and friendly, even though he had a lineup of people waiting to check in late at night and that must have been a little stressful for him. Overall, I felt the customer service at this hotel could be improved. Even if $120/night is not wildly expensive for Vancouver, it's still a lot of money, and the customer service doesn't need to suffer as a result.

JJanineLBWe visited the hotel for our Duex Days event and overall had a pleasant experience. The valet parking was smooth and professional, and the hotel staff were generally polite and courteous. However, one aspect could be improved: flexibility at check-in. I was running a bit late, so my husband, who shares the same last name and was on the reservation, tried to check in ahead of me. Despite offering to send a photo of my ID and confirming the reservation details, the front desk staff insisted that I had to be there in person. I understand the importance of security, but a bit more flexibility or alternative verification methods would have made the process more convenient and guest-friendly. Aside from that, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the service and atmosphere overall.

KkymcuraHotel a bit outdated, soundproofing not very good. But apart from that, everything went well, location is in a safe and convenient place for public transpo. Cozy room. Only wish 2 things were available: slippers (bec the floor becomes very cold) and drinking water.

GGuest UserPlace is located at the Main Street. Staffs are so friendly and fast in their service. Room is clean and the amenities are pretty complete (especially as family of four, the mini fridge, plates, spoons, knife, cups, microwave, are very helpful). The only unpleasant thing is we can hear our neighbors talking and they are pretty loud, but not during the night.

MMikki LizFirs of all, the receptionist was very friendly and had a big smile on her face during both check-in and check-out (it was the same lady), warm and nice lobby. Second, the room was smaller than I expected, smaller than what the website showed but it was clean. Third, when I arrived it was almost impossible to find a parking spot (see pic 4) because there were several hotels in the same area. I had to wait in my car for about 20 minutes until someone finally left so I could park and check in. Fourth, hotel parking is quite expensive $34 per night for self-parking and $39 for valet. The underground parking lot is right next to the garbage room (see pic 5) which was disgusting and horrible. I also saw two guys working in the parking area and they seemed really unfriendly. If they ever film another Conjuring series this could be a perfect location. To be fair, I did notice that several other 4 star hotels in Whistler have similar parking conditions: dark, old and dirty. Fifth, it was a bit cold at night and I tried to adjust the room temperature but it didn’t work. I mentioned this to the lady when I checked out. If you asked me if I would stay there again, probably NOT. The price is okay for the room and the location is very convenient there’s an Old Spaghetti Factory inside the hotel and several bars, restaurants and shops are just 5–10 minutes away on foot.

GGeiorgiestravelsVery convenient location if your sim is to be right in the city center. The two subway train lines are within a couple of minutes walk ,as is the main high street. The Canada line provides a direct route to the train station (tip: buy a day ticket and it will cost less that the ticket to cross zones plus the additional airport surcharge). The Canada line is so convenient that if you did not care about being in the city center then staying somewhere else along the line further out may be cheaper. Hostel was clean and well organized. There is a strict no eating in the room policy, though there are kitchen facilities to be used. Hire a towel. Rooms and front entrance has key card access. Room has no Aircon so can be warm, though there is a small electric fan. The room with two beds has bunk bed, cages under the bed and a stool….that is it. There are no privacy curtains, individual dockets or lights for each bed, only the main room light so make sure you have a touch/light, though as the curtains do not block all street light the room feels as it has a nightlight on and does not ever get really dark. I stayed Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday was quiet , though the hostel is above a bar and do Saturday had music playing for many hours while trying to get to sleep not the place for light sleepers.
