This hotel is truly wonderful! The room was spacious and bright with excellent natural light, and I could enjoy the beautiful mountain views right from the window. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with a perfect balance of softness and firmness, allowing me to sleep soundly through the night. The hotel environment was very quiet, with no noise, making it ideal for relaxation. The restaurant's dishes were also excellent, the chef's skills were top-notch, and every dish was a treat for the eyes and taste buds. Plus, the hotel's location is very convenient, close to the scenic area, making sightseeing a breeze. If you're coming to Huangguoshu, you definitely have to choose Kaiyuan Manju Huangguoshu.

The hotel has a simple yet elegant design, and the rooms are very clean. They even provide complimentary fruit upon arrival, and the mini-fridge is stocked with drinks, which is a really nice touch. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. It's super convenient as there's a snack street right outside. I've explored many places around here these past few days, and getting anywhere from the hotel has been quite easy.

Overall Impression: Best Location in the Scenic Area, Excellent Views and Service The Wujiangzhai Miao King Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as the best hotel within the scenic area, leaving a lasting impression with its location and attentive service. The room's balcony directly faces the scenic area's central location—the White Pagoda and terraced fields—offering expansive views that are picturesque whether viewed from the morning mist or the nighttime lights. Service Highlights: Thoughtful and Clear Directions * A dedicated staff member added me on WeChat after booking, sending route instructions in advance, which was very convenient. * Upon arrival at the parking lot, staff proactively helped with luggage and guided me to the shuttle bus for check-in. It's recommended to pack light for easier movement within the scenic area. * The front desk staff were welcoming and proactively reminded me of the Wujiangzhai performance schedule, helping me plan my itinerary. Accommodation Experience: Comfort and Attention to Detail * I received a complimentary room upgrade with a fully automated toilet, a complimentary mini-bar, and a gift bag (fruit and bottled water). However, I suggest adding local snacks or creative souvenirs to the gift bag for a more thoughtful touch. • Breakfast service was good, but the selection was somewhat limited, possibly due to the off-season. A semi-buffet style would be recommended to offer more choices and reduce waste. Dining Suggestion: More Flexible Hours The hotel restaurant's dinner closing time is relatively early (8 PM), which is tight for guests wanting to watch the 7:20 PM iron flower performance. Extending serving hours or offering simpler meal options would improve the experience. Areas for Improvement: Significant Disappointment with Partnered Projects The only regret during this experience was the Miao ethnic costume rental service offered in partnership with the hotel. As a complimentary gift from the hotel, it should have been a pleasant surprise, but the poor service detracted from the experience: • Staff were consistently indifferent, the costume selection was limited, and they constantly pushed paid makeup services; • After refusing additional charges, service almost stopped; there was no guidance on what to wear or any explanation, leaving guests to figure things out on their own; • The high deposit (500 RMB) and short rental period (2 hours) significantly diminished the overall experience. As a high-end hotel (room rates in the 1-2K range), the service quality of the cooperative project should match the hotel's positioning. Since this is offered as a privilege to guests, the experience should be complete and respectful. Otherwise, it's better not to offer it at all, to avoid affecting guests' first impression of the hotel. In summary: Miao Wang Hotel excels in location, views, and core services, making it the top choice for accommodation when visiting Wujiang Village. If the cooperative project can be optimized and adjusted, and the breakfast and souvenir options can be expanded, the overall experience will be even better. Looking forward to seeing you all again, even more perfect!

We booked the Guiyang Banshan Hotel through Ctrip, and it's right in the heart of Guiyang, just a 2-minute walk from Qingyun Market. The hotel facilities are clean, bright, and modern, making for a superb stay. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich, with fresh ingredients and authentic, delicious flavors. Yum! 😋 The most heartwarming part was the warm, meticulous, and thoughtful service from the young ladies. Even before our check-in, they proactively called me to inform me about check-in procedures and parking instructions. So considerate! 🥰 What's more, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's special room upgrade activity. We were selected and upgraded from a twin room to a twin suite, which was incredibly spacious and comfortable. And because our flight was late, they even offered a free late check-out. Truly thoughtful! It was a very happy and satisfying stay, five-star indeed! Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Guiyang Banshan Hotel comes highly recommended! After a 10-day trip in Guizhou, the biggest impression I got was Guizhou's five-star ⭐ service. Thank you, Sister Ruyi, and thank you, Guiyang Banshan Hotel, for making our trip smooth, happy, and complete! Wishing Guizhou prosperity and its people happiness and good health! 🌹🌹

Facilities: This is a newly opened hotel, so the decor and amenities are brand new. The design is simple yet grand. Hygiene: Very clean and comfortable. Service: The front desk staff, especially the lady, was beautiful and considerate. She really set a great impression for Guizhou girls, haha. Room Size: The twin room was spacious enough. Location: Right next to the high-speed train station and bus terminal, which is super convenient. It's also easy to get a taxi or Didi to the city center. For us, who were transferring to Huangguoshu Waterfall, it was incredibly convenient. Since it's close to the high-speed train station, it can be a bit noisy, so light sleepers might want to reconsider. My friend and I are sound sleepers, so it didn't bother us. I forgot to take photos, but overall, it was really great.

we booked a room with a slide and it was really fun. there are instruments and calligraphy at the lobby and they are fun to play. they also provide free fruits, the lychees were really juicy and fresh. we had a bit of trouble with the washing machine but the staff helped us and it became a funny experience. the staff was very friendly and enthusiastic, he offered to drive us everytime we went out. even though we did not book for transport to the train station, they tried their best to find available cars, but the boss just drove us in the end because we were rushing to catch the train. even though we caused a lot of trouble for them, bro was still patient and helped us. 非常感谢了🙏!

Environment: This really is a room inside a natural cave! The rock walls retain their original texture, paired with minimalist design, giving it a super luxurious feel 💯. The bathroom also has a cave-like style, and the huge bathtub is incredibly comfortable for a soak. Food: For breakfast, they set up the dining table right by the terrace, where you can enjoy your meal overlooking the pool and mountain views – talk about an amazing experience! The authentic Guizhou cuisine for dinner was also incredibly impressive; every dish was a hit and far from the usual bland tourist-trap food. Atmosphere: The cave pool at dusk is absolutely breathtaking. During the 'blue hour,' the light and shadows dance on the water. Sitting in the circular hot tub, sipping tea and gazing at the mountain scenery, it felt like all my worries just melted away 🍵. The cave bar also has a fantastic ambiance; a little drink there was just perfect.

The downside: The main road is directly downstairs, and rooms facing the street are extremely noisy. The air conditioner in my room was also very noisy, making it impossible to sleep. The next day after I checked out, the hotel staff called back and were very friendly, saying the air conditioner had been immediately sent to the engineering department for repair. The upside: They offer laundry service, and the laundry is ironed and delivered to my door the next day. Convenient for travelers.

This hotel is the nearest airport hotel that I have ever stayed in China. The room is spick and span. The room alloted to me on the eighth level allows me to see the airport terminal, the observation decks, airport train station and flights taking off from the airport clearly. I take home the free razor and toothbrushes. Overall, I am very happy with my stay at this hotel but the hotel restaurant is closed at night and the receptionist is not around to take room orders. I ate durian bread at the hotel cafe near the concierge for lunch. I will stay here for sure again in October 2025.

The room was excellent, and we got a free upgrade to a second-floor room with a fantastic view. Parking was safe and convenient. All the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping, were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. The food at Paoniushan Chinese Restaurant was delicious for dinner, and breakfast was plentiful. There's also a self-service laundry room. It's just a 5-minute walk to the scenic area entrance.

俄罗斯美女I'd like to share my impressions of my stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is very new and designer inside. The view of the village is, I'd say, the best in the area. First things first: the hotel offers a butler service, and when you arrive at the attraction, a butler will meet you and take your luggage. You don't have to bother walking to the bus, which is quite a distance, and the entire scenic area is on a mountain, requiring constant climbing. The hotel is also located on a hillside, so getting to it requires a climb up narrow steps. The butler carried my luggage and accompanied me the entire time. The walk from the entrance to the hotel took about 25 minutes, including the bus and the walk. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted at reception and offered afternoon tea; there were five drinks on the menu. I chose a milk oolong tea with milk, and they offered me fruit, nuts, and homemade cookies. It was delicious. I spent the entire time relaxing, drinking tea, and enjoying the village views. After I'd rested, I went to my room. I was given a room on the 4th floor with the lucky number 888. The room has absolutely everything: excellent Loccitan cosmetics, toiletries, robes, and slippers—everything is of very good quality. There's also a modern hairdryer and steam iron. There was a bath on the balcony, but I didn't use it because it was chilly. The room is really new; it has underfloor heating if you get cold, and also air conditioning. The bed linen, pillows, and blanket were wonderful. I didn't even notice how my night passed; I truly rested for the two nights I stayed at this hotel. The hotel staff explained how I could spend my time and took me to a restaurant where I could have a delicious meal. Then I went for a walk. I spent the entire evening strolling around the village and taking in the sights. That evening, when I returned, I was offered evening soup, which I really enjoyed; it was very unusual. Since I was a foreign tourist, the hotel staff communicated with me using a translator via WeChat, which was very convenient and prevented any misunderstandings. The next morning, I was offered breakfast, which was served on the first floor of the hotel. The dining room was also very beautiful and well-renovated. After breakfast, I went for a walk around the village to take beautiful photos. I had a wonderful time in the village, taking in the sights. I especially enjoyed the local people's show on New Year's Eve, as well as the singing of the women and men of the Miao people. The day before my departure, the hotel staff asked what time my return tickets to Guiyang would be and told me they would arrange for me to be transported to the entrance so I could call a taxi. I would give this hotel the highest rating, firstly because it's in a wonderful location on a mountain with a magnificent view, and literally a three-minute walk from the main observation deck. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel personnel, and especially to the butler his wechat name Velpro, they are all tried their best to help me and accompanied me on all my questions. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel owners, who care about the interior order, cleanliness, and the care of their guests. This level of hospitality is truly rare. If I return to this village, I will definitely stay at this hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

AAnonymous UserThe right way to open it is to come to Wujiangzhai and stay in the scenic spot. Mushan Hotel is at the highest point of the village. You need to take a car to go to the core scenic area. We booked Building 2. In the early morning, when we opened the window on the balcony, we were surrounded by green trees and the chirping of birds. The hotel service is very good. You can get free tickets, free shuttle bus, and free parking fees. The staff also helps to check in your luggage. Special thanks to the front desk of the hotel. Because the family brought a lot of things with them on a family trip, a bag of the child's things fell in the lobby. It was only when I went to bed at night that I remembered that there was a tablet in it. I hurriedly went to the lobby to look for it. I didn't expect to find it, but I didn't expect it. The staff has picked it up and placed it at the front desk. Just for this reason, this scenic spot is worth visiting again.

PPUI MENGI booked this hotel as I had read good reviews. Indeed this B&B is impressive. The room is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. There is even a bathtub next to the window with a view. You will need to contact the hotel owner prior to arrival at the village so that a porter will meet you at No. 6 风雨桥, which is located about 100 meters where the shuttle bus drop you at the entrance to the village. You will not be able to find your way to the hotel as the entrance to the hotel is rather hidden away. The two young chaps who picked us were extremely polite, cheerful and eager to serve. They carried our luggages where we walked to reach the station of a golf cart type of vehicle. You board the vehicle and alight at the first stop up the mountain (see picture 6). The simple breakfast fare of home-cooked noodle soup with minced pork, hard boiled egg, sweet corn and sweet potato was delicious. The soup base looked bland but it was very tasty. The location of this B&B is superb as you can walk down the slope to reach the village center in 10 minutes. Tip: we took the golf cart vehicle and travelled uphill and alighted at the end (Pastoral Sightseeing area) where there is roundabout for the vehicle to loop back to the terminal. It is recommended to alight here where you will see beautiful vast green pastures and lotus flowers were in bloom. You can then wait for the sightseeing bus (your entrance ticket would cover four sightseeing bus trips) at the opposite platform and it will bring you to the top viewing platform to see the whole village lighted up in the evening. To return to the hotel, you then take the sightseing bus back to the Pastoral Sightseeing area. From here you wait for the golf cart vehicle to transfer you back to the hotel. How I wish someone had posted these information on this Trip.com review platform as it was a bit confusing on how to take the different vehicles in the mountain. Lastly, thank you to the owner of this B&B for making our trip a memorable one.

GGuest UserThe most satisfying place in the whole Guizhou trip. The food and accommodation in Qifengxin were good, which was completely beyond expectations. Yan│Panoramic Afternoon Tea Set: I thought it was a gift and didn't have much expectation, but the desserts and teas were amazing. It is said that the homestay has its own baking room🐮. All the supplies are customized, with the logo of Qifengxin, full of details. I originally booked one night, but couldn't help but stay for another night.

GgroteThe guesthouse is situated within a canyon, offering expansive views. To the left is the Baling River Bridge spanning the canyon, and to the right is the Dishuitan Waterfall. Choosing the cabin-style room provided an even wider view; you could see the canyon scenery right from the bed, a touch of rustic luxury. Brewing a pot of tea and sitting on the terrace was incredibly relaxing. Breakfast was a set menu, ensuring a satisfying meal. Dinner was a sour soup beef hot pot; the sour soup was authentic and the portions were generous, although the beef was a bit tough. The guesthouse has clearly put thought into its facilities. The best spot is occupied by the swimming pool, which is both practical and photogenic. A complimentary tea-making service around a hearth is provided, and the service is quite thoughtful. The manager and several staff members I encountered were all locals, and their friendly and welcoming attitude was very touching. They were knowledgeable about local tourist attractions and, importantly, had a high level of brand awareness, sharing the guesthouse's philosophy during conversation.

Ppetercclam1Best location right next to Metro subway station Songhua Road station Exit B. Look for Bld 3 and it's on the 17, 18 floor. The receptionist treats you like a VIP guest from the. moment you arrive. Complimentary afternoon tea and other surprises on arrival. Smart room with smart everything from toilet to movie projector. Very easy to book 1 to 4 days tours with China Travel Service in Bld 5, or via brochures located in reception or ground floor. We love this art deco boutique hotel so much that we stay ed at the beginning and end of our travel in Guizhou for a total of four nights with four nights tour throughout Guizhou due to the vast distances between attractions. We were able to store our large luggage with them for four nights. They even packed a free breakfast for us on the day of our four nights tour as our coach departed at 06:00 am. I would definitely recommend this hotel as the No. 1 choice for anyone coming to Guizhou. Allow yourself 5-7 days to take in all the natural sceneries that Guizhou offers.

MMaureenThompsonI loved this place so much that I stayed 5 nights. Yang the owner speaks perfect English. I rang the day before and he was waiting at the train station with my name on a sign. He helped me organise the entrance fee. Mine was free as I'm 73 years old, even though I am a foreigner. I am travelling on my own from New Zealand. The train station pick up was free and very useful. If you take the bus it's a long way from the ticket office and bus stop into the village. Yang then transferred me into his smaller vehicle to go up the little lane to the hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into the village and has a great view of the village.. It is quiet as it's a little bit away from the busy centre. The room was perfect. Everything new and very clean. And no smells. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. I used the washing machine in the room to wash my clothes. There was tea and coffee provided. Yang took me on a full day trip to see some other local villages that have no tourists. We walked around the villages together. It was fantastic to have an English guide to explain everything. We saw people making rice wine, making indigo dye, building a house using traditional techniques. We saw a fighting buffalo. Yang chatted to the people and explained what they were doing. This was the best time I have had in China. He was a good careful driver. The breakfast was huge! So many dishes, including fruit. Yang was always available to help me with any questions and we had good talks every morning when he helped me plan my activities.

RRongyangjituanClose enough to see Jiaxiu Tower, and distant views of the 'White House'! Choosing Sofitel for our Chinese New Year trip truly exceeded expectations, and the whole family was very happy. First, the attentive and thoughtful service from all staff during the holiday made us feel incredibly welcome. Second, the dinner privilege at the executive lounge was upgraded to a buffet, which was excellent value for money and solved the dining dilemma for our large family. Lastly, the hotel's location is genuinely superb. We were able to walk with our child to visit Jiaxiu Tower, Wenchang Pavilion, Minsheng Road, and Qingyun Market. It's truly a hidden gem of a hotel. The only downsides were that the room windows couldn't be opened for fresh air, and the room got very hot in the afternoon sun. Since it's this time of year, the central air conditioning's cooling function couldn't be used continuously, which wasn't ideal for a child. Also, the room's Wi-Fi was not great; the internet speed was very slow, often preventing the TV's screen mirroring from connecting. Overall, though, it's still highly recommended!
