The lady at the night reception was super nice. She had a great service attitude and was very friendly. I stayed here for two nights last time, and after traveling around, I came back to the same hotel. It was the same person who helped me with my luggage. The environment is clean and quiet. Definitely a five-star review!

The best hotel host goes to Ah Fei. Based on the reviews, they are true..he is very helpful and easy to deal with. He helped us to arrange for transportation from train to hotel, welcomed us with the warm tea, gave us slippers for kids and attentive to our needs. Aside from that, the hotel room itself is also okay. It’s located almost in front of Chagee (malaysians would love this). There’s also washing machine and dryer for use so it’s convenient for travellers. It’s also near to the north gate of Lijiang Ancient City, so it’s easy for pick up and drop off if you want to Didi.

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of fantastic food options nearby – seriously, every place we tried was delicious. The room facilities are modern, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The service was attentive and thoughtful. The breakfast selection was quite varied and very accommodating for out-of-town guests. Even though it's a new hotel, there was absolutely no smell in the room, which was great. There was a slight odor in the elevator and hallway, but it wasn't a major issue. If I had to pick a con, it would be that the water pressure for showering was a bit inconsistent at night, possibly due to our high floor. I hope the hotel can improve this in the future. Oh, and the beef pancakes right outside the hotel are a must-try for anyone staying here!

Beautiful views - the rooms are simple but great for a trip to the rice terraces. We had a problem with the restaurant food on the first night but the problem was promptly resolved by the manager which was much appreciated. The goat hotpot did not come with slice d meat for cooking as expected. Instead all meat was already in the pot (quantity not enough for 2 people as mainly fat and bones which I did not enjoy eating). However the manager offered to remedy this problem by presenting a plate of sliced meat. This show good attitude in resolving problems. Highly recommended.The following evening he made good recommendations for dinner and we enjoyed the food very much.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right across from Cuihu Park. The staff's service is also incredibly thoughtful and attentive; a butler even contacted us to coordinate before we checked in. On the day we arrived, they gave us a welcome gift, which included lovely roses and a small succulent pot. There was also a variety of fruit in the room, and in the evening, staff brought us tremella soup. The seagull-shaped cookies were delicious too! Everything was perfect, and I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The environment is beautiful, a garden-style hotel with lush greenery, quiet, and within walking distance to Haigeng Dam, Yunnan Nationalities Village, and Haigeng Park. The hotel's breakfast offers a wide variety, and the Chinese restaurant serves delicious food, especially the clay pot rice. We initially planned to stay for two days but extended our stay for a few more.

Our stay in this luxury bedroom suite was a memorable experience, largely due to the exceptional accommodations. The suite itself was nothing short of spectacular—incredibly spacious and warmly appointed. The layout was impeccably designed, featuring a foyer, a living area, a comfortable bedroom, and a walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom was a highlight, with a separate water closet, a vanity area with a deep-soaking bathtub, and a separate, spacious double shower room. The private outdoor sitting area that led to a huge, rejuvenating hot spring was the crown jewel of the suite. It's important to note the location within the Dong Feng Yun Scenic Area. A significant benefit is that the hotel provides the scenic area entrance ticket and transport to and from the gate, which is excellent. However, its setting means it is quite far from Jianshui's Old Town and other key locations. This can be inconvenient when you wish to visit other spots or find dining options outside the hotel. A major logistical issue we encountered was with return trips. When trying to get back to the hotel, most taxi drivers requested a top-up payment, as they would have to return to the city center without a passenger. Service at the hotel was generally good; the staff were prompt and attentive upon our arrival and throughout our stay. However, we noted a noticeable drop in attentiveness during the checkout process. A minor point to note is the centralized A/C system, which meant we couldn't control the room temperature individually. That said, the provision of a standing fan was a thoughtful and effective solution. The food at the hotel's restaurant was acceptable, though it didn't quite match the exceptional standard of the suite itself. Overall, this is a truly magnificent property for the space and privacy it offers, but its remote location requires careful planning and extra budget for transportation.

On my second day at the hotel, I was having breakfast when I noticed a long, black hair in the noodle basket. I pointed it out to the chef, but he just took the basket away without even looking up, as if nothing had happened. He didn't even glance at me, let alone offer an apology or a thank you for letting him know. So, I skipped the noodles that day and just ate a couple of eggs before leaving the restaurant. I decided not to book breakfast for my third day. As soon as I found another hotel, I checked out immediately. I won't comment on the hygiene standards or service attitude for a so-called international five-star hotel; I'm just stating the facts. The hotel's photography service was decent, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive, which was a plus.

Transportation is also very convenient; it doesn't take much time to get here from either the airport or the train station, which made sightseeing effortless. The hotel itself is full of Lijiang character, with a typical ancient民居 (traditional folk house) style. The solid wood furniture gives it a unique charm. I stayed in a garden view room, and the hotel grounds offered stunning views of the snow-capped mountains and a lake – it was truly picturesque, like stepping into a painting. The bathroom was spacious, and the large bathtub was perfect for washing away travel fatigue. The service here was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Angel at the front desk was particularly helpful during checkout and even gave me a hotel souvenir. The food at the hotel was also excellent, with a unique blend of Sichuan and Yunnan flavors. This was a really wonderful experience.

The biggest highlight of this trip was definitely this guesthouse! The location is unbeatable – tucked away in a quiet alley, offering peace and tranquility, yet just a pleasant 5-minute walk to the north gate of Shuhe, making it incredibly convenient for getting around by taxi. On the afternoon of my arrival, the sunlight streaming through the leaves into the glass house was absolutely breathtaking, truly a sight to behold. A white cat rubbed against me, and the guesthouse even puts peanuts on the outdoor tables, so if you're lucky, you might spot some sneaky squirrels. What I want to praise most are the staff. They added me on WeChat beforehand and recommended some great activities. Everyone seemed genuinely passionate about their work. They even gave me a tour of their meticulously cultivated herb garden, and the salads made with their freshly picked, home-grown vegetables truly lived up to their reputation. Since it's an old house, I didn't have high expectations for the room, but the bathroom was impressively clean, and the amenities were excellent. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom door doesn't seal perfectly, so after a long shower, a small puddle of water would form near the sink area. However, it didn't affect the bedroom area, and it was cleaned thoroughly every morning.
