I recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy. The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything. If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

The biggest surprise of my Dali trip wasn't the ancient city or Erhai Lake, but this forest B&B nestled halfway up Cangshan Mountain 🌿. As we drove up from the city, the urban hustle and bustle slowly faded, replaced by lush greenery and the sound of pine trees swaying in the wind. 🌄 **The Rooftop is Pure Soul:** I was absolutely stunned the moment I stepped onto the rooftop – the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain stood behind me like a majestic screen, with the entire Erhai Lake and scattered Bai ethnic villages stretching out below. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were faintly visible. In the morning, drawing back the curtains revealed a sea of rolling clouds. In the evening, I'd sit on the swing chair on the terrace, watching the sunset paint Erhai Lake a honeyed gold 🍯. At night, a glance upwards showed the Milky Way so clearly it brought tears to my eyes ✨. 🌿 **Immersive Mountain Living:** Hydrangeas were in full bloom in the courtyard, and dappled sunlight filtered through the treetops onto the wooden floors. The natural wood-toned room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, making it feel like sleeping right in the forest 🌲. There were also three resident cats, each with their own unique personality, taking turns on patrol. Banyan Tree Lijiang is absolutely beautiful! Even though it rained both days of our stay, the traditional Chinese courtyard felt perfectly in tune with the weather, offering a unique charm. Before booking, I was a little worried after seeing the hotel's pictures – I'm not sure how they took those promotional shots, because in person, the scenery far exceeded my expectations. All my photos were taken with a phone, so they're quite authentic. The service was also excellent; when my child wanted to sleep alone, they even set up an extra bed for them. The hotel offers plenty of activities to keep kids entertained, and there are small animals and many fruit trees on the property. The osmanthus flowers were already blooming during our visit, filling the air with their fragrant scent. On our last day, they even arranged a travel photoshoot for us. All in all, it was definitely worth it!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They confirmed my check-in details and the hotel's location in advance. Upon arrival, they immediately offered to help with my luggage and even assisted with purchasing tickets for the Song Dynasty City show (I didn't realize discounted tickets needed to be bought a day in advance, but the hotel managed to get them for me). They were consistently warm and welcoming whenever I saw them. The breakfast was plentiful and, more importantly, delicious, with a fantastic view from the restaurant. The room was spacious and modern, featuring a double vanity and a large dressing mirror, perfect for two women to get ready simultaneously. My friend was extremely pleased. Initially, I was a bit worried based on some user-uploaded photos on Amap, but thankfully, the hotel's photos on Trip.com were accurate and trustworthy, not misleading. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Environment: Upon entering the hotel, the panoramic window immediately caught my eye, offering views of the hotel's **pasture-fed sheep and many Alaskan Malamute companions.** We booked the Prairie Panoramic Room this time, and the moment we stepped in, we were truly amazed. It felt like we were living right on Lake Pana, surrounded by mountains. Facilities: The prairie pasture's special ******* costume changing experience was fantastic. The clothes were very clean, and the photos turned out great. I'm currently waiting for the retouched images. Both my companion and I felt it left us with wonderful memories. All the facilities in the hotel are also of a relatively high standard, making for an excellent experience. The hotel offers a variety of fresh and delicious fruits; I especially loved the plums. You can grab them anytime you like, with no limits. I also had lunch and dinner at the hotel, and the kitchen's dishes were exquisite, delicious, and generously portioned. Hygienic: The hygiene was well-maintained. The room was very clean with no hair, and there was no pet waste in the hotel lobby or courtyard, as the butler cleaned it promptly. Service: The service made us feel right at home. There's a dedicated butler group, and the butler enthusiastically helps solve any issues. We experienced some altitude sickness upon arriving in Shangri-La, and the butler thoughtfully prepared two oxygen tanks for us before we left. Next time I visit Shangri-La, I might choose Lismansyinsu again.

This hotel experience was absolutely fantastic! The service was so warm and welcoming, it felt like coming home. Someone helped with my luggage when I checked in, and whenever I left, the staff would ask where I was going and give really practical advice. Their attitude was unbelievably good. The location is convenient, and the room facilities are complete. Even the alpacas in the garden are super cute and not afraid of people! I'm just a bit annoyed that the peacocks didn't spread their tails. Overall, the experience was excellent! Highly recommend giving it a try!

Back in Dali, I decided to revisit the Xianyun 360-degree Cliff Seaview Hot Spring B&B, and it truly lived up to expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly polite and attentive. I later found out that the humble and helpful manager, who was always ready to assist, was also from Beijing, which made me feel right at home. The B&B's environment is serene and immaculate. The private hot spring pool in the room is definitely the highlight. Soaking in the hot spring, you're directly facing the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake – it's like a landscape painting come to life. During my downtime, I loved sitting on the balcony, gazing at Cangshan and Erhai, which was incredibly therapeutic after a long journey. The restaurant's dishes were delicious and flavorful. My experience was as excellent as ever, truly a hidden gem of a seaview B&B. Choosing to stay here twice speaks volumes about its reliable quality. Returning to Dali from Jizu Mountain, I temporarily chose to stay at Jinsuo Island. I have been to Dali many times, and this is my first time on the island. This hotel is indeed the most satisfactory one. The room has an unbeatable sea view. You can see the sea and the sunrise while lying on the bed. The facilities are very smart and the hygiene is also very clean. Super cost-effective! The breakfast in the sea view restaurant is also a little surprise.

We stayed here for one niy, and it was absolutely incredible! They gave us the best room in the hotel, the views were simply breathtaking. This was hands down the best hotel of our entire trip, and we stayed at 10 different places across China! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with huge floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountains and the lake . The service was outstanding. The staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond providing free shuttle service to the Old Town. The breakfast and afternoon tea were 😋

Coming to Dali and staying at Fansu was such a lucky find! The value for money is excellent. The sea view room offers a panoramic vista; you can enjoy the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake right from your bed. The sunset views are particularly stunning, painting the mountains and water in a warm golden hue. The service is meticulous and thoughtful, with quick responses to any requests. Parking is convenient, making it very friendly for self-driving tourists. The daily complimentary coffee is a delightful little surprise during the trip. You can also watch the fish lanterns near the guesthouse; as night falls, the lanterns float on the lake, creating a fantastic ambiance. Highly recommend!
