The hotel is located right within the Dongfengyun Scenic Area, and I honestly think it's the best hotel both inside and around the area! You can enter and exit the scenic area 24/7, allowing you to fully enjoy both the day and night views. During Chinese New Year, there were even light and dance shows, making the night scenery mysteriously stunning. The hotel itself is an Instagram-worthy spot with a fantastic design; every photo turns out great, so definitely set aside time to explore it slowly. There's a shuttle cart service from the hotel to the scenic area, and within the area, you can use the shuttle carts or rent a small electric scooter for a fee. I wouldn't recommend walking as it's sunny and vast, not very suitable for the elderly. **Facilities** We stayed in a suite with two rooms, and it was super spacious – easily accommodating our family of six. Snacks, drinks, and water were proactively refilled, which was a thoughtful touch. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling during Chinese New Year, so it was a bit warm during the day. We had to open the windows for ventilation to sleep. The hot spring area incurs an additional charge, so you can experience it if you wish. **Cleanliness** It was clean and tidy, with prompt housekeeping. There were no unpleasant odors, and both public areas and rooms were cleaned very promptly. Drinking water supply was unlimited and delivered to the room as needed. **Dining** The breakfast spread was rich, and the restaurant's location was superb, creating a fantastic ambiance for eating and taking photos. Lunch and dinner were on the pricier side and not very extensive, but the taste was decent. If you have time, I'd recommend heading into Mile city to try local delicacies instead. **Surroundings** It's a 10-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, but a bit far from the city center and the Mile Giant Buddha. For a day trip or two-day trip, I'd suggest booking a private car. The nearby wineries aren't particularly special, so you can skip them. The hotel itself is worth staying at for two or three days, perfect for a vacation. **Summary** High aesthetic appeal, excellent location, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended for family trips, couples' getaways, especially for those who love taking photos, travel photography, and exploring Dongfengyun in depth!

After a lot of searching for guesthouses in Lijiang, I finally chose this one. The location is excellent, right by the North Gate of the Old Town, and it's very convenient for taxis. I had contacted the owner before arriving, and they even helped with our luggage. At the time, our Great Cableway tickets were still pending, and the owner also kept an eye on group tour updates for us – they're really so kind and helped resolve all our issues. The room facilities are fully equipped, and they even provided a heater. Fresh disposable toiletries were replaced daily, and complimentary fruits were always available. The hotel breakfast is at Xiangran Rice Noodles diagonally opposite, which suited our taste perfectly. They also helped us arrange a car when we checked out. It was truly a wonderful stay, and I'd definitely recommend it to friends!

This is an excellent spot for people who are visiting Lijiang. It is within Lijiang Old Town which has so much to do. There are tons of places to stay, but this place is right outside the north gate, about 200M. Very accessible and drivers/tour groups to Tiger Leaping Gorge/Jade Dragon Mountain can easily pick you up from here. It is within Lijiang Old Town so cars cannot come in. Don’t make the mistake of not messaging ahead of time that you need a cart to take your luggage like I did. They will come pick you up free of charge. Add them on WeChat and they will respond quickly to any requests. The place has 2 entrances, one is a coffee shop. They have tea and snacks, plus a lovely garden for guests. There is plenty of space to put your bags and comes with a humidifier for the drier air. I highly recommend this to travellers who are coming from afar. The breakfast was great as well.

First off, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – it's super convenient to get everywhere! Downstairs, there's a bustling commercial street with malls like Kunbai and Parkson. You can walk to Green Lake, passing by many iconic photo spots along the way – it's just perfect! Secondly, the hotel service is incredibly welcoming. They helped us with our luggage as soon as we got out of the car, and the front desk staff were also very friendly, especially Justin! A big shout-out to him – he was always responsive on WeChat and even upgraded our room type since he saw we were a family traveling together and our original room was a bit small. The breakfast was also very generous, with everything you could possibly want. You can even take coffee and marshmallows with you when you leave!

Reasons for recommendation: Firstly, the boss is great. Despite his cool exterior, the young man has a warm heart. He offered a welcoming tea, actively helped with luggage, and saw guests off. He also proactively helped book various tickets at fair prices with guaranteed quality, and provided all sorts of assistance to meet guests' needs. Secondly, the guesthouse location is excellent. Situated on Lion Hill, it offers a super wide view. The path from Sifang Street back to the guesthouse is my favorite in the entire ancient city. The winding uphill trail becomes less crowded the further you go, leading to a very tranquil part of the ancient city. There are no bars nearby, so you don't have to worry about noise. Plus, it's very convenient to get back to the guesthouse from outside the ancient city; cars can drive all the way up the hill, and it's just a few tens of meters walk to the guesthouse. Thirdly, the guesthouse environment is lovely. The guesthouse's signage, much like the boss, is understated, so much so that you might often accidentally walk past it. Beyond the outer corridor, the small courtyard is a hidden gem with flowers, plants, fish, and even a white magnolia tree. On the first day, there was an available room, so the boss upgraded our room type for free. From the room, you can enjoy the ancient city's night view and watch the sunrise over the ancient city in the morning. However, most houses in the ancient city are wooden structures, so soundproofing is a bit lacking. Those sensitive to noise should consider this carefully. But everyone staying there was quite considerate, and I wasn't bothered by noise at all during my stay. I'm writing these genuine stay experiences hoping they can help those of you on your phone screen who are still undecided. Finally, the key takeaway: the boss is handsome and kind-hearted. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will still choose Yueshang. I hope it stays around forever and its business thrives.

Extremely satisfied with our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; when they saw us with our luggage across the street, they immediately came over to assist. Every single staff member greeted us with a smile. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was exquisitely prepared and delicious. The individual portions were quite filling. We only stayed one night in Chuxiong as we were just passing through, but our impression of this place far exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely come back for a longer stay in the future.

Lijiang, a small city brimming with romance and poetry, is home to a truly captivating place to stay: Jinmao Hotel Lijiang, A Hyatt Centric Resort. **The Hotel's Night View: Picturesque Romance** From the spacious balcony, the entire Lijiang Old Town twinkles with lights, resembling a flowing painting. The hotel's design cleverly blends modern and traditional elements, making the night view not only romantic but also classic and elegant. Waking up and drawing back the curtains, the scene before my eyes was even more refreshing. The hotel's balcony offers an expansive view; the distant Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is faintly visible in the morning light, while the nearby Old Town appears exceptionally serene in the tranquility of dawn. Breathing in the fresh air and soaking in the natural beauty, a wonderful day begins. Beyond comfortable accommodation, the hotel provides guests with an excellent experience in terms of night views, morning scenery, and convenient shopping. Jennifer at the front desk provided excellent service. Here, you can fully enjoy the romance of the Old Town and its natural beauty. Whether you're a traveler seeking relaxation or someone looking to experience local culture, this is an outstanding choice.

📍Location: The location is excellent, located at the junction of Hongta Avenue and Wenhua Road in the city center, next to the Yuxi Museum, opposite the beautiful Nie Er Park, and it is very convenient to enter and exit by bus/Didi. 🔸Service: Polite and professional, supplementary items in the room can be delivered immediately, and the welcome fruit is good. 🔹Facilities: The weather was hot during the few days of stay, and the air conditioning could not be turned on all day. The hotel made corresponding explanations and took relevant cooling measures. The executive room is large, with a suite design style, a large-size dual TV, and free 🆓tourism information at the front desk and in the room. 🍚Food: The buffet breakfast is relatively rich and has many categories. 👉The hotel is listed with 4️⃣ stars, with high overall cost performance, recommended!

The location is fantastic, right next to Cuihu Lake and not far from Yunnan University. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's well-maintained. Check-in was efficient, and the concierge intern who helped with our luggage, Nie Lei, was excellent – he deserves a special mention. Every day, they offered fruit (apples and blueberries) and desserts (tremella fungus soup/peach resin). During the Spring Festival, there were lion dances, lucky draws, sugar painting, and a small market in the square, making it very lively. The breakfast area was also adjusted promptly to accommodate the number of guests, which was quite responsive. Besides the main entrance, there's also a small parking lot at the back. The only minor flaw was one time a staff member was impatient and loud with me regarding parking, perhaps they were very busy.

Arrived in the evening, and the front desk upgraded our room for free when they saw we had a child with us. The hotel environment is elegant, the public areas are clean and tidy, and the room layout is well-designed with excellent natural light and ventilation. The toiletries are complete, and the hot water is stable, making for a comfortable shower experience. The staff are polite and attentive, with thoughtful details, making the entire process from check-in to check-out very smooth. It's quiet and peaceful, so we slept very well. Definitely recommend it to everyone; we stayed for four consecutive days.

Rraymond200909On the positive side, the hotel has quite a few recreational facilities, and the room amenities are decent and relatively new. On the negative side, the biggest problem is the excessive dampness in the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep in, and although the hotel changed the bedding, it didn't help much. This might be due to the humid air during the rainy season in Xishuangbanna, but two things puzzled me: 1) The front desk said no one else had reported this issue before. 2) I stayed at three hotels during this trip, and Zhucheng was the third. The other two were right next to Zhucheng, and their rooms didn't feel noticeably damp. Also, the hotel room didn't pay enough attention to some details. The sofa arrangement prevented the curtains from closing completely automatically; I had to manually close them. The refrigerator was also quite noisy, which affected my sleep.

RRenee C.I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照,去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

GGuest UserAmbiance: Tranquil and secluded, a unique Chinese aesthetic. The entire room was filled with the scent of aromatherapy incense, which was incredibly refreshing. I loved the citronella essential oil and bought over 1000 yuan worth, getting a 30% discount – quite a good deal. Facilities: The open-air heated massage private onsen was fantastic. The room directly faced the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' view. Service: Our butler, Luna, provided excellent service. She helped us book a photography session in advance, arranged our room, including housekeeping, answered all our questions, booked our airport transfer, and took care of little things like the 'Little Turtle' welcome gift and bottled water. Highly recommend! The turndown service was particularly special: on the first night, we had a rose milk foot bath in a copper basin, and on the second night, it was a coarse salt foot bath in a copper basin. Breakfast was also good and came with a scenic view. One-way airport transfer between the hotel and Lijiang Sanyi Airport: The airport drop-off service was good. One complimentary ethnic costume photography session (requires booking at least 1 day in advance): I had already taken photos in ******* and Yi costumes a few days prior, so here I tried on Miao ethnic clothing, which was another great experience of local culture. I didn't add any extra photos beyond the included five. Seasonal welcome fruit: We received small fruit baskets on both days. In the evening, there were fresh juices and small cakes – red pitaya juice and orange juice. There was also a large cake in the fridge!

GGuest UserI just want to show my appreciation to the staff at the motel!  First of all, the staff was super nice and attentive! She spoke softly and gently.  And most importantly, we booked for the most expensive type of room, and it’s definitely worth it! The view was amazing!!!  The room was also spotlessly clean, with heater and humidifier (which are crucial in winter)  Honestly, there is not much in the neighbourhood, but I did enjoy the quietness and peaceful moments there! We took a free taxi (offered by the staff) and visited lijiang old town (around 20 mins away)  The breakfast was good enough (given it’s a small motel) My kids got their portion of breakfast for free too. And the staff kept asking if we needed more!  I wish I had stayed for 1-2 days so I could have more time to enjoy the peaceful time!  Will surely recommend this place!

GGuest UserThis hotel in Lijiang completely exceeded my expectations! Located in the heart of Lijiang Old Town, it manages to be a tranquil haven amidst the hustle and bustle. The traditional Naxi courtyard, with its 'three rooms and one screen wall' layout, paired with blue-tiled wooden buildings, offers a beautiful scene at every turn. Every photo I took looked like a masterpiece, providing an immersive experience into the rich Naxi culture. The location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk to Sifang Street, so you can easily pop back to the hotel to rest whenever you get tired of exploring, saving you from unnecessary detours. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable. The service was simply impeccable. From check-in to check-out, it was efficient and thoughtful throughout. The front desk staff proactively offered tips for exploring the Old Town, porters helped with luggage, and the room service was prompt and attentive, even providing local specialty teas and snacks. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, including freshly cooked small-pot rice noodles. The hotel also has a viewing terrace where you can overlook the entire Old Town and gaze at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance, truly setting the perfect mood. It's perfectly suited for couples, families, or solo travelers. Staying at this hotel in Lijiang Old Town truly unlocks the slow-paced lifestyle. It was definitely the best decision of this trip – a guaranteed fantastic choice!

GGuest UserMy positive review for this hotel stems from my appreciation for the owner's dedication to management and his friendly, welcoming approach to guests! The room and overall layout are exactly as pictured, but the location does require a side road. Having mostly stayed in resort-style five-star hotels, I was initially increasingly nervous as I drove. The room amenities also didn't meet my expectations! However, the owner's introduction to the tour during breakfast the next day made me realize the power of women. Wuwei Temple also allowed me to avoid the crowds, and my overall impression of Dali has improved! Overall, it's a very pleasant experience. Having fun is the most important thing when traveling. Thank you to everyone for your service to our family! If you're looking to take your family on a vacation in a tranquil setting with high emotional value, this is the place for you!

SSheryl 宜芬Cleanliness: room was slightly dusty. Spiders and insects in the room, but expected because it has many oriental decorations that require constant cleaning to prevent dust accummulation. Location: convenient, it’s of walking distance to the north gate, easy to stroll around to different parts of the ancient town. Service: I have never given a bad review for the service attitude of any accomodations which I’ve stayed at in China, but I honestly think that the service here is mediocre and more reactive than proactive. They fulfil the basics of bringing your luggage up to your room, giving directions to the laundry and breakfast areas and arranging for pick up from the station to the hotel for a stay of at least three consecutive nights. I cannot speak for all the service staff, but the service staff that mainly tended to me during the stay definitely needs to be improved. He was helpful when I needed help for the laundry setting. However, when I needed help with booking tickets to snow mountain (I’m a foreigner and do not have a local number), it was a rather frustrating experience. He shared that the booking of tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain can be done 3-4 days in advance, and he could help me when I arrive at the accommodations. When I arrived, it was 4 days in advance but he was rather nonchalent and did not manage to help me secure tickets for my intended date of visit and had to eventually rely on the tour group to help change dates. The night before the tour visit, I had to reach out on wechat to ask about when and where the meeting point is for the tour. Even after the tour, I even had to ask several times to pay for the tour tickets as he had helped me to secure the ticket to the glacier park cablecar eventually. I had already shared that I could not transfer money on wechat and could only do via scanning his wechat/alipay qr code or vice versa. I feel that given that you guys are located in Lijiang and located near to Jade Snow Mountain, you should have encountered other customers who need help with the booking and this shouldn’t have been such a stressful tour booking experience. Amenities: they have two all-in-1 washing machine and drying amenities which was rather helpful. In the original room which i had booked, the air con leaked at around 10pm+. I texted the service staff on wechat and another staff came 5-10minutes later to check. This staff said it’s normal for the air con to leak at times especially if it’s blocked. After checking, he offered to change rooms for me. He helped me to move my luggage to the new room. There was no form of apology by any of the staff on the day itself when the incident happened. It was only on the next day when I requested for check-out transportation services to the railway station for the following day, where the staff who mainly tended to be apologised for the aircon leakage and offered complimentary transport services to the railway station. I’ve stayed in many accomodations in Yunnan but this was the most disappointing stay thus far and I will definitely not be back again.

GGuest UserHaving been to Dali, I have a good idea of what a 'home away from home' B&B feels like, but this one still managed to pleasantly surprise me. You can watch the sunrise over the snowy peaks right from your room, the lobby offers specialty milk tea and fruit tea, and transportation is covered with a car pick-up and drop-off service. In the evenings, there's a bonfire party and fireworks, plus a fun complimentary horse ride by Longnv Lake. For meals, you only need to order one main dish, as hotpot and drinks are all free. The 24-hour service via WeChat group is incredibly meticulous, and there's a generous afternoon tea spread and a well-stocked mini-bar. All the staff are incredibly warm and friendly. I rarely stay at the same hotel or B&B twice, but this place is definitely worth revisiting. Of course, I do have a small suggestion: the content on the 'Xiao Du Video' TV needs updating as it's quite old, and it's not compatible with mainstream platforms like Tencent or iQiyi, meaning you have to cast content from your phone daily. For someone who likes to turn on the TV as soon as they wake up while traveling, this isn't very convenient. I hope this can be improved in a future update or a renovation of the first phase. However, this is a minor flaw that doesn't detract from the overall experience, and it still deserves a five-star rating and a big thumbs-up!

MM15075****This hotel exceeded all my expectations and truly elevated my entire trip. First off, the decor is stunning – it feels like a secluded estate nestled between Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. It's perfect for travel photography, so if you're into that, definitely come prepared. I hadn't originally planned on a photoshoot, but the setting was so beautiful I decided to go for it. To my surprise, the photographer was incredibly professional, and the photos turned out amazing! Then there's the natural scenery. Waking up every day to the picturesque views of Cangshan and Erhai was breathtaking; it truly made me want to stay forever. This season also brings seagulls, and you can see many of them playing around Erhai Lake every morning between 9 and 10 AM. In the evenings, a crescent moon hangs in the serene night sky, accompanied by twinkling stars. Next, the service: it’s truly attentive, like having a personal butler. From the moment you step into the estate, you feel constantly looked after. The facilities are also excellent, with several thoughtful details I really appreciated. For example, the facial tissues by the sink are soft cotton wipes, the hairdryer is a Dyson, and the mini-fridge is stocked with snacks and face masks. Finally, let's talk about the dining. While breakfast isn't a buffet, the individual set meal each morning is fantastic, featuring a local specialty main dish, whole grains, fruit, and either black tea or coffee. In the afternoon, there's afternoon tea, and in the evening, a sweet soup is delivered to your room – a truly heartwarming touch.
