Beach Hotels in Jalisco, Mexico

Our stay has been an invitation to come back and come back, starting with customer service. A first class service from the person who receives you at the hotel and opens the door of the car where you arrive, the people who kindly attend you at the reception with a smile and an authentic sense of service, the porters who go out of their way to ask you for a taxi and help you load what you bring without being asked, and anyone who works in the hotel in the reception area is undoubtedly there to serve you with the best service disposition. Also in the pool area, and restaurants. The impeccable place, with an architectural beauty. Its spaciousness and distribution of both the hotel and the rooms welcome you. The fact of being an open place allows us to feel the weather, and the wind that blows is a very pleasant sensation. The decoration of the place is warm and tasteful, giving us a feeling of being ”at home”. The location of the place gives rise to going for a walk to the Marina, both day and night, with complete security, and all the places we went are very close, 5, 10, 15 minutes by car: Walmart, Shopping Centers , Malecon, Downtown, Restaurants, Maritime Terminal. The access to the beach is a delight, with unbeatable views of the sunset. We enjoy the extra activities that the stay at the hotel includes, and the fact that they are not invasive to our moments of being. The food is very good, and although the price is a bit high, it is worth staying **** at the hotel to eat. I want to close by congratulating the Customer Service program that the hotel has, since it is surely an administration that takes its time to train all the people who work there in this area. Customer service makes the difference in an experience, and that is what we look for when going on vacation, living pleasant and memorable experiences. Great location. Hotel is on the older side but it was a clean bed and cool room for the stay. 97% of the staff were very friendly and service was great. Unfortunately some have really bad attitudes directed only at particular guests. Strangely those were also not wearing name tags. With that said Jesus was one of the most helpful and friendly staff member. Not sure if it just México, but there seemed to be a form or paper needed to be completed for every step of the check in and check out process. Not very eco friendly and must need huge storage facilities for all that paperwork. Overall, a great stay and will stay there again.

The view from the room is great, whatever. It was great because I could wake up in the morning with the sound of the waves. It is very convenient to enter the sea because you can borrow beach parasols and towels. The price is reasonable, but the restaurant is located at the beach front, so you can also eat and drink beer while entering the sea. I will definitely stay if I go to PV again.

Tiene una excelente ubicación, trato muy amable y muy limpio, sus camas muy cómodas, sólo les recomendaría ampliar un poco más la variedad en el bufet.

I like the property location and staff, but the rooms need upgrades as they are getting very shabby. The music at the pool is BLARING from 9am onwards, absolutely no way to relax. A/C didn’t work in my room for 2 days and only after tearing apart my room did they move me.

Hotel appeared beautiful. Then you get to your room which are in need of renovations. Why I gave a 1 in cleanliness was the ceilings had what appeared to be mold, and so did the bed sheets. There was no hot water and the fully stock bar was anything but full. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Service was above grade. We had to change rooms because our first room had a smelly bathroom, otherwise fine. Food and margaritas were great. Location is excellent and close to a major grocery store.

Hotel with the basics, the rooms feel old, especially the air conditioning. It has a kitchenette, plates, glasses, pots, etc. The beach is good for snorkeling, it has a lot of rock, there is a lot of dangerous fauna, such as hedgehogs, we even saw a sea snake. The prices of food in the restaurant and drinks are not cheap, if you are going on an austere plan you better prepare your food. In general, good cost/benefit ratio.

Our room was 2 feet from the elevator in the main lobby! We can hear every single person talking and walking by our door as well as kids screaming because the ice cream shop was 15 feet away. The amount of pressure they are putting on every single guest to go and attend the timeshare promotion is unbelievable. If you attend, usually they give you some decent gifts. We get a $200 voucher to spend on the food and drinks. Most of the time they didn't want to take vouchers, or you had to spend the whole $50 at once because the rule was not money back. So if we spend $30 or $40 we have to give them $50. The food was everything but good. The promotional taco dinner was disgusting, with dry fish, beef with no flavor, and dry and overcooked chicken. And they didn't accept vouchers. I went back home with an unused $50 voucher in my pocket because I couldn't use it. Ramon and Martin from the front desk were the nicest, warmest, and friendliest people I ever met. All the servers and workers are very hard-working people.
