I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the room. The room is spacious with a studio-style layout, featuring a sleeping area, living space, small kitchenette, and one bathroom. The in-room amenities are nearly complete — it comes with a mini fridge and other essentials, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays. I booked a sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is also very convenient, only a 3-5 minute drive to Kuantan city center when there’s no traffic. Finding food is easy too, with several restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The only downsides were that check-in took a bit longer due to a long queue, and parking was a little challenging since it was very crowded, likely because of the weekend. Other than that, there wasn’t much to complain about. Overall, the hotel offers comfort, complete facilities, and a strategic location. This will definitely be one of my favorite stays whenever I’m in Kuantan.

This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here.

The environment is pleasant, and the location is convenient as it is situated in front of a mall. The room is also spacious. However, the housekeeping aspect is somewhat unsatisfactory. Although housekeeping is provided daily, the cleaning appears to be minimal. The floor is neither swept nor vacuumed, resulting in dust accumulation. In addition, the management should pay closer attention to the condition of the rooms. In my case, the bathroom door hinge was almost detached, which could pose a safety risk to guests. I hope these matters can be improved in the future.

Always a good location to stay in Kuantan. You can have a very nice view of Sultan Ahmad Mosque & Kuantan River from the level 11 of your room.

Loveeeeee love this hotel! Though it’s a bit high rise and need to be there at least before night time, for me i’m very happy to be surrounded by nature, the services are top notch then they upgrade us for a better room due to early check in and based on availability. The breakfast are pretty decent but the pastries options are very nice!

Truly a family-friendly hotel! The Sixers Room with bunk beds was definitely a hit with the kids. The hotel location is very strategic — just opposite SkyWorlds Theme Park with only a 3-minute walk, and about 5 minutes to Avenue Mall. Very convenient for families with children. There are also plenty of food choices nearby. You can easily find a variety of food at Avenue Mall, or take a short walk to Kayangan Apartment for authentic Chinese food. The hotel is also near the link bridge connecting to Antara Mall, making everything easily accessible. Security is also very good. The access card only allows you to enter the floor you are staying on, and there are security personnel stationed downstairs, which made us feel safe throughout the stay. If you prefer a quieter environment, opt for a room facing the hill side. It is much less noisy and you can still enjoy the cable car view. Overall, a great stay for a fun, comfortable, and convenient family getaway!

The location is strategic, but overall I can only give 3 out of 5 stars because the cleanliness of the room needs improvement. The room, especially the bedsheets, was dusty. Additionally, the valet parking service was disappointing as there was no jockey available to assist with parking.

The bed was cosy and provided a good night’s rest. The pillows and bedding were soft, fresh, and suitable for a relaxing overnight stay. The room design was simple but functional, with enough space to move around comfortably. Everything felt neat and properly prepared before arrival, which showed that the housekeeping team had done a good job. The bathroom was also clean and practical. The water pressure was good, and the basic amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness is always one of the most important factors in any hotel stay, and AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan managed to meet expectations well. There were no major issues, and the room felt properly maintained throughout the stay. Another positive point was the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel provided a good environment to rest after a busy day. Whether for a short business trip, weekend getaway, or family overnight stay, the hotel offers the right balance of comfort and convenience. It does not feel overly complicated, which is a strength. Everything is straightforward, clean, and reliable. The staff also deserve recognition. They were polite, responsive, and ready to assist when needed. Good service does not always need to be dramatic; sometimes, simple efficiency and professionalism are enough to create a strong impression. The team at the hotel managed to deliver that well. Overall, my stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a good one. The hotel offered a clean room, comfortable bed, convenient location, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. It is a hotel I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay in Kuantan. For travellers who value cleanliness, comfort, and practical convenience, this hotel is definitely a solid choice. located about a 12 minute drive away from 1st world genting navigating isolated roads that connects to the ion garden areas. parking easy to navigate, drove up to the first floor and parked there with no hassle at all, went to check in on the G floor smoothly into a room that was no satisfactory (corner room) overlooking to the other corner of the building, due to my religious beliefs I had to haggle for a different room that's the same sizing as my attained one (similar pricing) superior king room.... front house handled it perfectly, I made a mistake for not getting her name for a recommendation but it's what anyone would expect from a 5 star establishment, professionalism.....she wears glasses and has dyed reddish tied hair she arranged me to a room (floor 38) with a balcony view that overlooked the hills surrounding the genting highland area, briefed me about the amenities that the hotel provides and plus clearly instructed on how I can park for free within the premises room was amazing, splendid view, showers were clean with optimal water pressure, tv worked as it should connected to my phone via screen cast, Mini bar...well...it's just there if u need it for the breakfast however, wide selection, like any buffet breakfast you'd get at such establishment, but nothing too good nor nothing bad can be mentioned. good view tho if seated around the windows for a view while eating the meal, sufficient space for a crowd, doesn't get too cramped amenities however, couldn't really say much, they have a pool and a small heated pool, didn't use it as it was crowded with foreign nationals (came in tour buses) that aren't rather hygienically taking care of the premises several meeting rooms and a gym, (necessary equipped for the gym), kids playroom... rather small..but I can't imagine a kid at this era would spent time in a playroom much rather than on their smartphones
