Overall satisfied. Facilities, cleanliness, staff service, etc. The first visitor can spend a comfortable time without any complaints to point out. It is a hotel recommended for those looking for a hotel near State College.
I recently stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn for 4 nights and 5 days, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. The rooms were great — clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The hallways were absolutely amazing, lined with bookcases and cozy seating areas, all surrounded by fascinating history that truly made the Inn feel special and unique.
The mocktails at Triplets were delicious, and the coffee at the café was just as impressive — such a treat during our stay. We were in town because my daughter danced at THON, so we were coming and going at all hours. It was incredibly comforting to be somewhere that felt so safe, welcoming, and conveniently close to everything we needed.
Every single staff member was absolutely incredible. I never once arrived or left without someone opening a door for me — that level of attentiveness and hospitality does not go unnoticed. Everyone was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay.
I do need to especially mention Claire. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, she made our stay so comforting. When my flight was canceled, Claire went above and beyond to ensure my son and I were taken care of. She helped us navigate our travel changes and made a stressful situation so much easier. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out.
Thank you for making what was already a meaningful trip even more memorable. We will absolutely be back!
Hotel service is in place and service facilities are complete. Better than other options for the same name chain. High cost performance attracts passengers in need to choose to stay. The front desk staff of the hotel are careful and helpful, worthy of praise
Stay over all was good. If booking the room again don’t wait till the am because they are at the door at 11am exact to let you know check out is at 11. So if you are having issues with a card or an app now the pressure is on. So do it the evening before. The beds are very comfortable. There is a safe in the room which is a plus. Also close to restaurants & various different stores. The complimentary breakfast is good, waffles, cereal, oatmeal not prepared (but ok), yogurt, juices, fresh coffee (all the time) tea
It was past midnight but it was a room for that night. The sister at the front desk was so nice. She pointed to a small room and told us to have breakfast. She said we could go in and rest at 10 o'clock at the latest (she was very sure).
As a result, we couldn't hold on any longer until around 7 or 8 o'clock, so we spent $25 to check into the room early. The person at the front desk was replaced with a very bad attitude. He said the earliest check-in time was 2 p.m. and was very arrogant and rude.
The door of the room was hard to open, the room was ok, basic facilities were all there, but no air conditioning! There was only one hot air blower, blowing directly at the bed, making people feel as dry as the desert. (I am from the north, and even 20 degrees floor heating doesn’t make me feel this hot)
The management is average. I took a break and prepared to leave, but the door was opened by the staff? No tip at all.
After visiting Pittsburgh (very bad, best not to go), I asked the front desk how to reserve a shuttle for the plane. He said it runs every 30 minutes, so just get off early. result! The next day I went downstairs excitedly. The receptionist was shocked and asked why I hadn't registered. She called back the car that had already left. It was a black sister who was very, very nice.
My personal experience is for reference only. The environment is clean and relatively soundproof, but the service is sometimes good and sometimes bad. Search more and there is a method that is more economical and refundable.
I wish you all a pleasant journey.
This hotel is clean and spacious. It is the only hotel dorectly connected to the terminal of Pittsburgh International Airport, which makes it the most convenient option for travelers.

Great location, right by the river and also in the old town. Everything is within walking distance. The room was decent. Beautiful view of the bridge from the window. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Philadelphia again. They also accommodated my request when booking, which was a plus.
It is a century-old hotel, so the decoration is quite old. If you like modern style hotels, you may not like this one, but for a century-old hotel, the maintenance is pretty good and the price is also quite good.
There is an Indian restaurant, but don't expect much. The glass cups are broken and overcooked, giving you black, crunchy, bitter naan. American salty Indian food cooked by an Indian. I paid for dinner with my card, but the next morning the front desk staff tried to double charge me again, saying there was an error with my card, but I showed them the payment details on my card app and persuaded them to stop the double charge.
Breakfast is not buffet style, but is served by the staff, which is inconvenient. The restaurant staff is loud, arrogant, and rude, thinking they are giving out food for free and ignoring the guests.
The hotel structure is difficult, the path is long, the facilities are poor, and it is noisy.
The deposit is $50, which was fortunately refunded after two days.
I recommend this hotel to Indians.
Traveling to Bradford has been staying at this hotel, the location and environment of the hotel are OK, the hotel has a swimming pool, it is not too big. If you come, bring a swimsuit and swim. Always feeling very good, it is worth staying.

Very Good
This was a great location, hotel was nice, and clean as well. The staff was very friendly, greeted with a smile.
I had a great business stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Philadelphia-Valley Forge. The location was very convenient, with plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance, which made everything easy after a long workday. The hotel offered a good breakfast each morning, and the amenities were excellent for an extended or business stay. My room was well maintained, clean, and comfortable throughout the visit. What stood out most was the attentive and friendly staff, who were always helpful and made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient place to stay for business travel, and I would gladly return.
Second time staying here — the hotel itself is clean and very comfortable, the rooms are well equipped. Breakfast is pretty good. This time around we had a bit of a struggle at check in which also caused a problem at breakfast the next day. The lady who checked us in (Megan) asked me four (4) times if I needed parking and didn’t seem to believe me when I kept saying no. She also told us our room wasn’t ready even though we checked in at 4pm, an hour after check-in time, and told us we’d need to take a 2 queen room instead of a king room. I told her we’d rather wait for a king room because that’s what we paid for, and lo and behold, suddenly she had one. We paid for breakfast with our stay, but she forgot to give us tickets for breakfast. Made it very awkward when we went to breakfast the next day and had to insist that we’d paid for breakfast. They still gave us a bill for breakfast, but then after talking to the front desk realized it was a mistake. They were kind, but it was still very awkward having to defend the fact that we’d paid for breakfast already. They said we were the second group that day which the front desk had forgotten to give breakfasttickets to. All in all, aside from the people and the awkwardness caused, it was a good stay. We’ll hope for better service next time we come back.
I was there for a church conference. My room was not ready until after 4pm, however being involved with the conference, there was not an issue. I had spoken to Kevin, manager at the registration desk several times. He, as well as his entire staff, were personable, friendly, courteous and was able to accommodate and answer any questions I had. The facility was clean, they were doing some painting in the main hallway (everything was well marked) and, even the painter was friendly. The only hiccup was that the bathroom tub/shower was extremely narrow. Someone who is bigger than I am would have a tough time being comfortable while taking a shower. All in all the facility, conference center, parking garage, coffee shop and restaurant staff were all great. The food during our conference was good and the wait staff (buffet style, served us) were friendly and professional as well. My room looked out over Lake Erie and the lighthouse. I would definitely recommending staying as well as having your functions at this facility.
