Hotel Resol Trinity Naha
4.5/5301 Reviews
I booked the hotel as the base for my solo Okinawa trip after a great stay at its Kyoto branch. Firstly, the pros: great location. 5-min walk from Asahibashi Monorail Station, 3-min walk to Tourist Visitor Centre and Naha Bus Terminal, 13-min walk to Kokusai-dori made it convenient for city sights, dining and souvenirs, bus daytrips and boat tours. Interior lobby, rooms and 13F public bath lounge seemed new and decorated in soothing natural tones, giving the hotel an island resort feel. Having said that, several major cons make me not wish to stay here again: 1) Hotel reception staff can be more welcoming. They declined me room entry at 130pm (which is typical in Japan) but they did so without offering help to store my luggage upon arrival or deliver it to my room by the time I return for check-in. They also declined my river view room request, citing the category I booked only has city view. Later, I found out on my own that only twin or triple rooms offer the river view. I was not expecting an automatic upgrade, but it would be nice if I had been offered a clear explanation on room categories or a change to river view room (even if I have to pay extra). I felt disadvantaged as a solo traveller. Also, staff are easily nervous when interacting with international guests and could not really handle simple questions in English, like whether there is a public bath, is it open to all guests, or how guests can pay for additional breakfast during their stay. I also observed them struggling to understand a request in English from two foreign guests who wished to borrow a luggage weight scale. Two senior staff members came out to help the reception staff, but all three still took a while to understand the request. 2) I was queueing behind the same foreign guests to raise urgent feedback regarding loud banging noises made by the 10F Smoking Room door directly above my room (Room 913). Meanwhile, 2 local Japanese guests arrived at the reception. I observed one male staff member ignore me and asked them to approach the counter instead. I nearly walked up to them but I held myself back. It was my first time being treated differently in all of Japan. This different treatment of guests added a seriously unpleasant feeling to my stay. 3) Not all room lights can be manually or motion-controlled. The light above the clothes rack is too bright and always on, even when the master switch is off. It was hard to fall asleep at night. The hotel should modify this room detail to ensure all guests can get a good night's rest. Will I stay here again? With the issues above and many other good hotels nearby, most likely not. The hotel decor may be warm and inviting, but the staff inability to communicate effectively with all guests and make them comfortable makes for a cold stay.

Location is good, close to many things you need: Ferry pier to islands, fish market, temple/ small beach within city, shopping avenue and 美榮站monorail. Rooftop swimming pool is highlight, if it’s free of charge from 7pm-11pm that be excellent. I went at 4pm and just me there was perfect. Wish more ppl swim and fewer ppl take pic at pool for bragging in social media , they kinda disturbing with fancy swim suit and drinks in hands 😝. Pic showed bubbles blow around 8pm, super romantic and calming and peaceful. Another highlight:Pajamas is a surprise, soft and fit and comfy. I stayed in double room and is a bit small for 2 persons. One is good enough though

I booked a room with a city view and I was very impressed with the spaciousness and the cleanliness of the room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern, and the view was amazing. The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and fast. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, the fitness center, and the free Wi-Fi. The only minor issue I had was that the coffee maker in the room was not working, but the staff quickly replaced it with a new one. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Okinawa

Although the room is quite small, it provides all necessary facilities you need when you stay in a hotel. Breakfast was good. Location is the best. One annoying thing is the smoking area at the front door of the hotel. We smelled it many times when we walked in or out from the hotel.
Best Western Okinawa Kouki Beach

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars Review: My recent stay at the Okinawa Best Western was overall quite delightful. The location is perfect for beach lovers and surf enthusiasts, offering easy access to sea, sand, and sun. Despite some language barriers, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the breakfast. While not offering an extensive variety, the dishes were delicious and provided the necessary energy for a day of activities. However, it's worth mentioning that the surrounding area lacks shopping options, with only the hotel and a convenience store nearby. On the bright side, there's a fantastic steakhouse and a traditional Okinawan dining spot just across the road. The only downside was a minor hiccup with the room arrangement. Despite booking for two single beds and an extra bed for my daughter, we were only provided with two single beds. This inconvenience led me to deduct one star from my rating. Overall, the Okinawa Best Western offers a pleasant beachside retreat with friendly staff and tasty breakfast options. Just double-check your room arrangements to avoid any surprises.

It's about 15 minutes away from American Village, and there's a large supermarket 3 minutes away, but check-in takes some time because there's an elderly person at the front desk. Parking is available in the hotel, but you have to spend 1,000 Japanese won. The view in the hotel is just a city view, and Japanese residents live there. I think it's in the area

The contrast between the sea and the expressway on the window is the symbolic Naha's best high-sense hotel The front desk will be greeted by the art work on the wall. It has a sacred air like an art museum, and it stops and troubles travelers who want to go out a lot. When you go upstairs, there are also a number of 々 paintings. Imagination is tickled. The view from the room faces the sea, and the expressway runs over the head. Gradually, the ”highway ridge ground” itself is felt like a ”square frame”, and the ”sea” spread between the concrete is also one of the paintings of the art work. The scenery where nature and artifacts live together is the most abundant expression of Naha. The restaurant meal is also very sticky with Okinawa material, and there is no other hotel that can enjoy both the vibrant and relaxing of the city. New hotel just born in April 2020 There is still a vacancy now, but if the situation changes, the reservation will arrive *. If you want to experience the crowded healing arts and the unknown experience that can enjoy these 3 at the same time, you recommend early reservations.
The BREAKFAST HOTEL PORTO Ishigakijima

Hotel is located on the south of the island which is about 20-30mins away from the airport. It is somewhat near to the port (where the ferry services to other islands are provided) but it still take about 10mins of walking. Not the nearest in terms of accessibility to bus stops/ports/convenience stores as well. Hotel has bikes that can be rented but you’ll need to have some application that the locals use, otherwise the nearest bicycle rental shop can be found on the way to the port. Hotel can also help to dial for taxis if needed. Room has a washing machine that works well and the drying machine is usually available for use. Loved the breakfast at this hotel - from local ishigaki style rice, yaeyama noodles, sorbet to sashimi I looked forward to eating breakfast everyday. Hotel is clean and also has a working electrical induction stove, fridge, freezer and microwave. Only gripe would be the location from the port and/or most of the other local attractions located at the north/central of the island. Generally I enjoyed my stay here and the hotel staff were helpful and kind.

Small but wonderful room with its most amazing most amazing shower system literally from head to toe. Breakfast was great and there is free flow of soft drinks and one alcoholic drink per pax from mid afternoon till night at L1 restaurant. Parking is approximately 700 yen per night and there is a 500 yen restaurant voucher if you opt out daily cleaning.

It is about 10 minutes walk from Yui Rail Mieibashi Station. Because it is in the so-called drinking street, the person who is worried about the brother of the call at night may be worried. The hotel front desk is very polite. The hotel itself is very clean and new, and the rank looks higher than the general business hotel. Welcome drinks also have soft drinks and liquor. The Wi-Fi in the room is slick. The room has an air cleaner. The bathroom was larger than the usual business hotel and the bathtub was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was unfortunately not eaten due to time problems. There are two convenience stores around the hotel, which is very convenient, but because it is in the so-called drinking street, there are many brothers who call at night, so people who care may be concerned. I want to stay next time because it is a very clean and comfortable hotel.
