The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the town hall, making it easy to walk to anywhere in the city center. Although it's a 3-star hotel in an old building, the facilities are very new, the bed is soft, and there's a mini-fridge. The only downside is that the internet can be a bit slow when there are a lot of people, but that doesn't affect my overall rating!

The location is super convenient, close to both the bus and train stations. The staff were really friendly, and the mattress was one of the most comfortable I've experienced in a hostel! The neighborhood was also pretty quiet at night. Overall, I'm very satisfied! I'd recommend checking out the terrace for a cup of tea – the view overlooking the neighborhood is lovely.

Getting here by light rail is very convenient, but the metro station is a bit of a walk, about 15 minutes away. Parking downstairs is also difficult, which can be inconvenient if you've booked a pick-up/drop-off service. The room is fully equipped with an open-plan kitchen and a washing machine, plus a small balcony with a view. My only complaint is that the toiletries were a bit lacking. They only provided a few bars of soap and shampoo. I was really expecting body wash... Since it's an apartment-style accommodation, there's no room service. You also have to take out your own trash bags to the building's rubbish chute. I felt the everyday essentials were a little too basic. The front desk staff's tone was a bit cold, almost indifferent. Perhaps that's just a Melbourne characteristic, but I still find it a bit off-putting.

I arrived at late check-in time on 2/11 Sunday and Mildua Inlander's staff was after office hour so I contacted to staff for room check-in by phone call, Staff are so helpful to help me to collect the room key and required admin work. However, due to the resort's layout and my room location(my room is ROOM 90), the circulation of the hotel is not poor, poor room ordering(it is not by 101 for on 1/F like typical hotel, it is using 1-50 for G/F, 51-100 for level 1; if 101-110 for block 1, 121-129 for block 2, 131-139 for block 3, 141-150 for block 4 would be better), no coherent corridor at the end, not much signage and map/easy to miss, no Lift or easy ramp for level 1. so, it is hard to find my room and poor experience before entry the room. Room is good for me. One thing is: can consider to have openable window after the mosquito net on the balcony sliding door if I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner.

NOTE FOR EVERYONE : $150 DEPOSIT This property should update deposit policy on booking app. When I booked it, I called the hotel regarding deposit and they said it depends on the room I've booked, and the deposit will be between $1-100. When I came in, I need to pay $150 for deposit which is wrong information from them before. It's better to state it clearly on booking app so everyone can prepare for it. Deposit payment return to my account in 7 days. There is no issue with other things when I stayed in this hotel. My family really loved it. The tram stop just in front of the hotel and only takes 10 minutes to CBD. We stayed in Family 2 bedroom that has city view on 10th floors. Facilities are great, it has washing and dryer machines which is really helpful for someone that has baby or kids. For budget hotel, I would say this is the best experience and value that I've ever stayed in Melbourne. I paid $177 for 2 bedroom on the weekend stayed. Definitely will be back someday. We stayed there one night as we have booked the hot air balloon flight. Thus, didnt have much opportunity to use any facility except the restaurant. We had dinner there and food and wine were great. However, we noticed that some staff werent paying much attention to asian guests. While serving the food up to western guest, the staff was introducing the food in details but not to us. Furthermore, it took a long while to get our desserts.

Facilities: Well-equipped with a wardrobe, desk, and toiletries. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidied daily. Environment: Pleasant, right by the road and not far from the subway, making transport convenient. Service: Breakfast was abundant. Front desk also offers free luggage storage.

Great hotel with excellent service and value for money. I accidentally left 700 AUD in the room safe after check-out and only realized it at the airport. The staff handled it quickly and professionally, and I got my money back without any hassle. The hotel feels very safe and quiet, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff are friendly. The location is perfect — opposite Southern Cross Station, easy for trains and the airport, with a Coles supermarket across the street. The area is very walkable. I had a very pleasant stay overall. The service was friendly and attentive, and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable, which made for a great night’s rest. I also enjoyed the view, it was fresh and satisfying. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would happily stay here again.
