My stay at Xining Chaidamu International Hotel was excellent! It's ideally located in the heart of Haihu New District, right next to a commercial area, making getting around super convenient. The lobby is grand and elegant, and the room was spacious and clean with comfortable bedding and great soundproofing. The humidifier was a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and efficient. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the underground parking was very convenient. Overall, it offers fantastic value for money, perfect for both leisure and business travelers. Highly recommend!

The location was quiet enough so there's no traffic noise. It's close to shops and restaurants. But to find the entrance to the hotel was confusing because it's at the back of the building. The room is very old and they tried to decorate it with an American theme with old furniture. But the walls seem to have recently been re-painted. The jacuzzi might suit some people but we find it a waste of space. One of the staff speaks English so it's a bonus. Breakfast was good with a variety of selections.

The cleanliness was great, and the soundproofing was excellent, so we slept soundly at night. The room also had an oxygen machine, and you can ask the front desk for disposable oxygen tubes. If you're experiencing altitude sickness like headaches, timely oxygen use can help alleviate the symptoms. It's also conveniently located about 3KM from the Salt Lake, and there's easy parking in the back if you're driving.

My only real issue was how incredibly hot and dry the underfloor heating made the room; even with the humidifier and fan on, my nose was bleeding from the dryness, but honestly, that's more of a personal problem. The bedding was super comfortable, and they thoughtfully labeled the soft and firm pillows. Even with a bit of altitude sickness, I still managed to get a good night's sleep!

The hotel maintained the usual high standards of an Accor Sofitel. The housekeeping staff did a good job, though the front desk was a bit unremarkable. The gym, pool, and sauna are all available, which is a plus. However, it would have been even more perfect if there was a hot tub.

For travelers new to high-altitude areas, this design ensured quality sleep, completely eliminating headaches and insomnia. Combined with the intelligent room control system, lighting, curtains, and air conditioning could be operated with a single touch, maximizing both technological sophistication and comfort. The service was impeccable. The receptionist was warm and attentive, not only helping with luggage but also thoughtfully providing information on nearby attractions and food streets. The room's cleanliness was a blessing for those with obsessive-compulsive tendencies: the bathroom was spotless, the bedding was changed daily, and even the air conditioning vents were immaculate. The breakfast was abundant, with freshly cooked noodles and fresh fruit offering different options every day, along with local specialties that tantalized the taste buds. It offers exceptional value for money. At this price, you get five-star service, plus complimentary welcome fruit and turndown service. It's truly great value for money!
