I paid for breakfast, but I ended up making coffee for breakfast. The room that didn't have breakfast was also used as a utility room, and my name was taped on. It feels bad. The sanitary conditions are also relatively poor. Some rooms are under renovation.

within Walking distance to many local stores, restaurants... we didn't hardly use our rental Car. This place was nice, a bit older, but has a lot of historic characteristics. Built in 1913, it used to be the San Marcos Hotel and has some haunted history, pretty interesting read. We will stay again. Downtown Chandler was really clean. You're minutes from the 101 Interstate & the 202. If i had to critique one thing: rooms facing the Pool can be a bit louder if there's a lot of people having fun in the water.

As a perennial Choice Privileges Platinum/Diamond member who has stayed hundreds of nights in various Choice hotels, this was my first experience in a Cambria Hotel, and these are my impressions of our 2-night stay. The price per night was higher than the Comfort Inns and Comfort Suites that we normally stay at, so was the higher price worth it? There are pros and cons. The hotel itself is clean, classy, and impressive, with a large lobby, bar, and restaurant. The rooms are nicely furnished, with modern platform beds, microwave, mini-fridge, sofa, large desk, Keurig coffeemaker, large-screen TV, and a nice little table on wheels that is great for a laptop computer. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially Candace at the front desk and Randy in Housekeeping. Coffee in the lobby is complimentary; however, breakfast is not free and the choice is very limited. Dinner is also available, but the menu is also very limited. The lobby bar also serves as the breakfast counter, although there are dining tables available as well. Snacks and other items are available for purchase in the lobby. The hotel itself is located at the corner of a large, busy intersection at the entrance to a big shopping mall. While there are tons of stores and restaurants within walking distance, our 3rd floor room overlooked the intersection, and it was quite noisy. The pool area is very nice; however, it is directly adjacent to the intersection and also very noisy. There were a few minor maintenance issues in our room… the recessed ceiling light above the coffeemaker didn’t work, and the access door to the microwave and mini-fridge didn’t close properly. The glass desk surface is not compatible with an optical computer mouse unless a sheet of paper or other material is placed on the surface. The backlit bathroom mirror is very impressive; however, the lighting is not quite adequate for makeup or shaving. The large-screen TV is mounted right over the desk, and it is difficult to work at the desk if someone else is watching TV with the volume turned up, since your head is about a foot from the TV and the speakers. In the bathroom, the toilet paper holder is mounted in an awkward location, and the sliding shower door appears to have been installed incorrectly, so that if the shower head is directed on the shower glass, the water will be funneled onto the bathroom floor. The wi-fi internet speed is among the fastest I have ever experienced in a hotel… about 100Mbps/second download and upload speeds. There is some very cool accent lighting in the rooms, but the platform beds have wooden corners that are easy to bump your shins on if you are not careful. Overall, this is a more upscale hotel in a convenient location with a great staff, but it does have a few quirks and inconveniences. Was it worth paying 40% or 50% more than at Comfort Suites? It may be for some, but probably not for us.

I am titanium lifetime elite with marriott. Over 2000 nights with marriott. US, CANADA AND HAWAII. Checked in 5 pm dec 24. Two ladies at front desk rude and combative. We asked for room near elevator facing front of property. Was assigned a room that is the last one on the floor farthest from elevator facing back of property. We refused the room...finally given room by elevator ..room 302. After a near shouting match. A ordeal to get fresh towels...no housekeeping for the 4 nite stay. Breakfast poor selections. Property not that clean ... When we left and returned over 4 days, nobody was At the front desk...security is lax ...anyone can come and go. You can do better elsewhere. Stay somewhere else. I would rate the hotel a 3 out of 10 ( 10 being the Best) 4 year old property not being maintained. No general manager on duty during the 4 days. Bob t Houston, texas
