This resort in Beijing is perfect for both short getaways and longer vacations. You can hike up the mountains, especially South 12 and South 12 (assuming this is a typo and refers to two different peaks or sections), to enjoy the scenery and play games. Down in the town, you can savor local specialties, watch a bonfire party, and enjoy fireworks. The whole town has a wonderful atmosphere, and the night views are particularly beautiful.

If you're planning to visit Huangshan via Tangkou (South Gate Area), the hotel offers the perfect location and price. 胡洁 (Hu-Jie) is a fantastic guide, as she suggested extra activities, local restaurants and even shuttle services to make the journey more accessible.
My room had an amazing view, unique features and I hope to one day return for another visit! 🤩

The hotel facilities are complete, with a rustic, log-style decor. The twin beds can be easily moved together to form a super-large bed. The underfloor heating is very comfortable and there's no noisy air conditioning for warmth. The hot springs are conveniently located on the second floor of the hotel, and the kids had a blast. It's about 50 meters from the Huangshan transfer station, making it perfect for self-driving family trips. After hiking Huangshan, a soak in the hot springs helps relieve all the fatigue. Highly recommended!

Booked two rooms, one of which is a mountaintop villa. You need a shuttle bus to go back and forth, but the phone in the room is just a decoration without a telephone line. I called the front desk on my mobile phone. It should be during the May Day holiday. No one answered the phone after calling several times. I had to stop a car on the way. The breakfast time in the morning was even more exaggerated. I have been to so many tourist cities, but only this breakfast was over in 5 minutes. It was extremely chaotic and there was no seat. The waitress put on gloves to clean up the leftovers and then took the clean chopsticks and put them in the chopstick basket🤮.

The hotel is nice, and the service is warm and attentive. It's also very clean. They even upgraded us when they saw we had a child with us. The hotel's main theme is culture, and when I booked, I saw it was Zhu Zhishan's former residence. But once we arrived, we couldn't find a single word about the house's history anywhere in the hotel. There was a book in the room, but it only introduced the history of the village.
I went to the front desk to ask about the history of the house, and the lady said, ”We don't have any history here~ It's definitely not historical, just a normal house.” XSL~ (This is likely an abbreviation for '笑死我了' - 'LOL/made me laugh so hard').
Overall, I still highly recommend it.

We had a really great time! The hotel called a driver for us and we have a super smooth experience getting around the town. Staff was SUPER nice. They provided maps for our Huangshan Mountain visit. Always offered cold water and breakfast. Helped us bring our luggage to our rooms, to and from car. Super friendly and enthusiastic. One of the hotel staff also keeps a pet dog on the premises, so if anyone is allergic, please keep that in mind. The dog does roam the hotel. But she’s very tiny and super well-behaved. Very cute!
It does seem like all the rooms are on the third floor so if anyone comes with super heavy luggage, please do keep that in mind.
Rooms were super clean, had plenty of amenities and the small town area around the hotel had so many shops and food. Night time is very eventful. You do hear the night life in the rooms but it didn’t really bother us. If you’re sensitive to noise, please do keep that in mind.
I would definitely recommend. Overall great experience!

Choosing the Arcadia Hotel for my trip to Qingyang was such a wise decision! The hotel boasts a superb location with convenient transportation and a full range of amenities nearby, making it easy to get around and find food. The lobby is elegantly decorated, check-in was efficient and quick, and the staff were warm and attentive, always smiling, and even thoughtfully recommended local attractions and restaurants – a truly delightful experience.
The rooms were clean and tidy, fully equipped, with soft and comfortable bedding and excellent blackout facilities, ensuring a good night's sleep every night. The bathroom had a well-designed wet and dry separation, and the toiletries were of good quality with a stable hot water supply. The breakfast offered a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, all fresh and delicious, catering to different tastes.
The hotel environment was tranquil and pleasant, surrounded by greenery, making for a delightful after-dinner stroll. The service team responded promptly, quickly resolving any needs, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. Excellent value for money, I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Qingyang, and I highly recommend it!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn, part of the InterContinental group, on Mount Jiuhua. Since I was driving, the hotel's location was quite convenient, not far from the Tourist Center and the Grand Wish Cultural Park. The room was pretty standard for the price point. The hotel offered breakfast and dinner, which was super convenient as I didn't have to leave the premises. Although the dinner set menu had simple dishes, the taste was quite good and ample for two people. The hotel's hot spring has both indoor and outdoor pools, but the facilities felt a bit basic. I specifically chose this hotel for the hot springs, so I was a little disappointed. InterContinental's brands still have room for improvement.

It's rare for B&Bs to have underground parking, but this one does, complete with an elevator directly to the ground floor lobby for check-in – a real hotel-like convenience. This also means your car stays cool, even on scorching summer days. The B&B itself is spotless, and all common areas are comfortably air-conditioned. The staff, from the front desk and the proprietress to the restaurant servers, were incredibly warm and helpful. They even thoughtfully brought out mosquito repellent when they saw us sitting outside – a very nice touch. The laundry room is accessible until 9 PM, and they even offer a fantastic service where staff will wash, dry, fold, and deliver your clothes back to your room. Truly exceptional service!
They provide an electric shuttle service to Xixinan; you just need to call 5 minutes before you want to be picked up. The scenic area isn't large but wonderfully uncommercialized, filled with charming local shops. The fish lantern display at night was vibrant and festive, just like celebrating Chinese New Year! The locals were so warm and down-to-earth, even spontaneously lighting off fireworks.
Right outside the B&B, there's a small stream where you can fish. In the evenings, they even have a live singer – apparently, it's the only B&B in the area with live music! The ambiance was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is served in a 'Jiugongge' (nine-grid platter) style, which was more than enough. The baozi (steamed buns) and wontons were freshly made, and you could always ask for more staple foods if you needed. To top it all off, they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we checked out. So considerate!

AAnonymous UserI was attracted by the pictures, but I was a little disappointed by this homestay in the ancient town. After all, you can stay in a very good hotel in Wuhu at this price.
Let's talk about the general environment of the ancient town first. It is said that tickets are charged on holidays. Few shops are open at night, and there are few people in the morning. It is said that there are performances, but there is nothing suitable for children after looking at the program list. Many shops are closed, and the streets with closed doors can also show that they were once prosperous. It should be good.
Let's talk about the hotel. The room area is OK and the environment is generally good, but my child is afraid of the slide and thinks it is too steep. I tried it myself and it was true, so I lost one of the fun of booking this room.
The breakfast is really incomparable to star hotels. It is matched by the owner himself.
I saw the reviews before that the small animals that can be fed were only empty cages. There was a cat. The baby could only play with the cat for a while. On the way to the room, I had to pass the cat house. The smell almost made me faint.
There are also advantages. In terms of service, the boss contacted in advance. When I arrived, the boss went to the door to pick up the tickets in person. There were several times in the middle when the remote control and bed sheets were replaced. The boss solved it quickly. The owner of the B&B is indeed very responsive to the guests' service and has a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room is very powerful, the terrace is quite comfortable, and it feels good to sit on the terrace as the sun sets.
Overall, I gave it a score of four, and I hope it can be better. Or the price can be more affordable.

MM31101****This hotel has the best heating! The bathtub water gets really hot and the shower pressure is fantastic. The mattress is super comfortable, and the projector works great. I loved sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window, sipping tea and enjoying the amazing mountain views. There's also a separate balcony, which is really convenient for drying clothes. The hair dryer is a Laifen, with powerful airflow and low heat – it's clear the hotel put a lot of thought into both the design and the selection of amenities. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserWe booked the Xiangquan Hot Spring Hotel for my parents, and they raved about it, saying it was even more comfortable than home. Since they have mobility issues, the hotel specially arranged a ground-floor room. My mom, who has knee problems, said the hot springs made her feel much more relaxed. The breakfast was also varied and plentiful, with soft porridge and leavened buns, perfect for elderly palates. The room was quiet at night, with good blackout curtains, and the couple slept soundly. My parents said it was a stress-free place to stay and the people were so welcoming, much better than those crowded tourist spots. For them to be so satisfied, it was definitely worth the money, and I give it a 10/10 rating!

GGuest UserI didn't have high expectations for accommodations in Tangkou Town, but this guesthouse pleasantly surprised me, earning a full five-star rating from me.
The surroundings are excellent; it's located in a nearby guesthouse village, away from the crowded town center. The building itself is very new and kept immaculately clean, with no strange odors or greasiness. The owner and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming, and their cooking is delicious. You can really feel the harmonious atmosphere of their family.
What truly impressed me was how the owner thoughtfully saved the leftover chicken soup we didn't finish the night before and turned it into chicken noodle soup for breakfast the next morning, complete with a poached egg and vegetables – it was incredibly comforting, especially in winter. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir and hiking poles.
I heard you can go swimming here in the summer, which makes me look forward to my next visit... It's a shame I didn't take any videos or photos this time, but there's always next time.

AAnonymous UserFirst of all, I don't like to write reviews. Everyone has their own reasons for liking or not liking it. But for Luming Valley, even if I have been trained by Huangshan to the point that I am paralyzed on the bed and don't want to move a step, I still want to give it a big thumbs up with my fingers.
In recent years, I have actually traveled to many places, but there are few places that really satisfy my taste. This place really gives enough. The terrace is natural, accompanied by the sunshine shining in the mountain breeze, or the clouds and mist covering the mountains after the rain. For us who are used to traveling in the city, it is indeed a very precious experience. The town 20 minutes away can also meet most entertainment needs.
The service is also very good. It can be said that Anhui is unique among the surrounding cities. The rich meals, on-call services, discounts and pick-ups for surrounding attractions, in short, there is no reason to be inconsiderate.
In short, Huangshan is wonderful and beautiful, but I am willing to stay once and directly exclude Huangshan from my list and come to a hotel for vacation.
In addition to the good reviews, simple suggestions are given to encourage. The bathtub in the room is not a good experience, which is really contradictory to the double-sided floor-to-ceiling. Although the electric-controlled curtains are advanced But it's a step down in terms of convenience: I certainly don't want the fire escape staircase to face the bathtub, but I also want to see all the green. Then the curtains on both sides can't be adjusted, so I can only give up in disappointment.
Of course, the flaws do not outweigh the merits. Dear readers, listen to me, this is worth a visit.
EEmanuele G.We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Likou, Qimen. Nestled in the heart of nature, the location is serene, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind. The surrounding landscape is lush and beautiful, making it an ideal retreat from busy city life.
One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent service provided by Liang Hao at the reception. From the moment we made our reservation, he was incredibly helpful, providing detailed information and answering all our questions promptly. During our stay, he continued to be attentive and welcoming, ensuring everything went smoothly.
A particularly memorable moment was enjoying a cup of local tea offered by Liang Hao in the hotel’s beautiful tea room. The atmosphere was warm and authentic, and it added a truly special touch to our experience.
We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking tranquility, nature, and outstanding hospitality.

MM23291****From the initial booking inquiry to checking out and heading home, the entire experience was incredibly pleasant. Customer service was prompt and patient, providing all necessary check-in information in advance. Upon arrival, a dedicated staff member guided me, and the front desk proactively shared details about the hotel facilities and local attractions—their attentiveness was truly exceptional. The room itself was spacious and bright with excellent natural light, featuring well-arranged furnishings. The bathroom toiletries were mild and non-irritating. Housekeeping arrived punctually every day, promptly replacing amenities and even thoughtfully organizing items on the desk. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety, including hot dishes, pastries, porridge, and fresh fruit; the ingredients were fresh, the flavors delicious, and the dining area clean and orderly. This was an absolutely flawless stay.
