The Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection, is a true gem on the stunning island of Crete. Our stay here was nothing short of spectacular, deserving every one of these five stars. Firstly, a special mention to their amazing staff and to name a few, Panos, Julia, Dimitri and Lena. Now, from the moment we arrived, we were mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea and the historic Spinalonga Island. Each day, we woke up to this incredible panorama, which made our vacation feel like a dream come true. The culinary experience was another highlight of our stay. The resort offers a variety of dining options, each presenting delicious and beautifully presented dishes. We particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood and local Cretan specialties, which were paired perfectly with excellent wines. Our room was spacious, elegantly designed, and immaculately clean. The blend of modern amenities with traditional Cretan touches created a comfortable and luxurious environment. The private terrace and plunge pool added an extra layer of exclusivity and relaxation. The hospitality at the Domes of Elounda was unparalleled. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, always greeting us with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to help. Their attention to detail and personal touches made us feel truly pampered. Overall, our experience at the Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection, was exceptional. The stunning views, exquisite food, luxurious rooms, and outstanding hospitality made our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to return to this slice of paradise!

Our third holiday in Crete was nothing short of amazing. The resort provided a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and cultural immersion. The exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and wide range of activities made this trip unforgettable. We look forward to returning to Crete and experiencing more of what this beautiful island has to offer. It was my second time in Domes of Elounda. The resort is known for its breathtaking views, exceptional service, and a plethora of activities catering to all ages and interests.

I cannot express enough how amazing our family vacation was. Everything at this place is excellent. The staff / team is the most friendliest, caring and most professional we have ever had the pleasure to meet. The whole place is magic, the rooms, the beach, the spa, the treatments, the restaurants and bars and last but not least the pools. What a fabulous 9 days ,we have had,this is our last morning enjoying a coffee with the amazing view of Spinalonga and a very talented pianist playing in the background ,just perfect. The food has been excellent, so much choice in Thalos,with adult area if you want it. We chose outside all the time as the weather has been beautiful. Topos seafood restaurant was amazing ! Our room and pool private pool were well looked after by the wonderful Maria and Mailinda, thank you ladies. Restaurant staff couldn't do enough for us. Sofoklis, made sure we were looked after at breakfast and in the evening . The ladies who booked us in always smiling and very helpful . The young man ,working tirelessly in the Dome bar in the evenings. However our biggest thanks goes to the amazing ,kind, helpful Christina . Breakfast and at the adult pool an absolute star,thank-you Christina , you are an asset to the Domes. Out and about, Plaka and Elounda are both walkable ,or bus or taxi . A little further to Agios Nikolas, again bus or taxi if no car. Bus stop right outside the hotel Those morning sunrises,amazing . Great holiday, so relaxing .

Mid May 2024 - weather wonderful. Domes is absolutely stunning! Waking up every morning to the views added to the magic of the place. A lot of the villas are up hill but they have golf buggys to take you everywhere you want to go. I enjoyed my walk down to breakfast but usually took a buggy up hill. The room was immaculately clean and the simplicity of the decor on the balcony was breath taking. The staff were friendly and helpful. We chose to eat out every night but i heard good reviews about the food. Breakfast was amazing with lots of options! I especially liked the freshly squeezed orange juice! Domes is a 10 minute walk from Plaka where there people are friendly and the vibe is relaxed. We started there most nights and got a taxi to Elounda for 10 euros each way. The highlight for us was the private beach, lots of shade as well as sun and comfortable sunbeds where you can dip your toes in the sea in just a couple of steps. Very highly recommended for a luxury holiday.

A fantastic hotel, with some outstanding service; set in an idyllic location in eastern Crete. I really cannot recommend it highly enough. The team were brilliant, responsive, friendly and seemingly genuinely caring about my family. They went above and beyond on multiple occasions. Manos at the beach and Katarina in the main restaurant merit special praise; but the quality of the Domes' team shone through. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning soon...

We loved the Domes of Elounda hotel. The private beach with the olive trees and beachside restaurants were great. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and always concerned with making sure we were comfortable and happy. The setting among the mountains was also beautiful.

We had to depart the resort early due to an emergency. They refused to credit our account for the remaining 3 nights stating they were at full capacity. This was in fact false as we were able to go on an book a room. That aside any decent hotel would make exceptions for very unfortunate circumstances such as ours and do the right thing. We will never stay at a Domes property again.

Returned to this wonderful hotel for a third time and so pleased we did. The resort is really spread out and it takes a while to walk from one side to the other which I didn’t mind at all and it meant it felt more spacious and not overcrowded, club cars were available to take you back and forth however the resort isn’t particularly well suited to those that can’t manage hills and steps without relying on the buggies. The accommodation is excellent we love the private residence villas which have plenty of space and your own large infinity pool with stunning views. The washing machine makes life easier and the kitchen facilities would be great for those with young kids. We have stayed in the other part of the resort where rooms have private hot tubs and pools again all with amazing views. Food options included a main buffet of excellent quality with themed nights, an a la carte Peruvian fusion restaurant which we loved and outside area called core that offered street food. Lunch time there was seafood beach spot, plus there was the usual pool side lunch time snacks available and the pool restaurant did lunches too. The food was all excellent with lots of choice. During the day there was the haute living area included with some of the accommodation and for us it was well worth it to be able to go and grab a drink or snack when we wanted then on a night you could get an Aperol Spritz G&T etc before dinner in a lovely sunny spot. Hotels facilities include a spa, an outdoor gym with the most amazing views, teen area with games and pool table. kids club and a lovely beach with shallow water. Water sports were available nearby but at extra cost but very reasonable and my daughter did a few different activities there. The hotel also had an adult only pool and adult only area in the buffet but if I’m being honest you could still hear children nearby so maybe not for you if you wanted a peaceful meal or eat later as at 8pm it was a lot more chilled. The hotel is very popular with young families due to the facilities available for them. As we were there it was half term iso lots of school age children but as we were leaving all the little ones were arriving. If you prefer nightly evening entertainment in the hotel then this place isn’t really for you as it’s very low key however we did enjoy some music and Greek dancing. Nearby you have a choice or Elounda and Plaka both offering cafes, restaurants and bars as well as shops and mini markets. The staff are what make the place special the team are all super professional, friendly and helpful. The restaurant teams do fantastic job as sometimes it’s very busy when lots of people arrive together. We probably spent the most time at Blend as it was convenient for us and we loved the new fusion menu and they were more than happy to accommodate my child’s pasta requests.
