Cretan Village Hotel

Stayed at the hotel with family in August 2021. The hotel is geographically located in the village of Amoudara, 5 km from the town of Agios Nikolaos. I agree with previous reviews, without a car there is nothing to do. Because the nearest supermarket is 5 km away. A taxi there and back will cost 20 euros. Our room was number 14. It was located on the highest point of the hotel. My grandmother was with us, of course, it was difficult for her to get there. All those ups and downs. Especially after swimming. In my opinion, the hotel is definitely not suitable for the elderly. The room had a large balcony with a great view. You can see the sea and the mountains from 3 sides. Attaching photo. Number - consisted of a kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom is large, about 16 sqm with a double bed. Equipped with air conditioning. There was a TV. There are no Russian channels. The second bedroom is quite small, with two single beds. There is no air conditioner. There was a fan. There is no TV in this room. I think it's a very big mistake. Because one air conditioner can not cope with the cooling of the entire room. Even opening the windows at night does not save from the heat. Of course, this is a big minus. Those who will be in this bedroom will suffer from the heat. The bathroom is completely lacking shelves for personal items. There is nowhere to hang a towel. As well as personal items. The kitchen has everything you need. Refrigerator, stove, dishes and all necessary equipment. The territory is beautiful, green, clean. There are 2 swimming pools. In one once bathed. But, apparently, something is added, most likely chlorine. Because the eyes sting. We didn't swim there again. There are two beaches near the hotel. One is rocky, the water there is clean, but not comfortable for swimming. The band is cold, the band is warm. A little further the beach is sandy. The water is also clear. But there are a lot of people there, as vacationers from a 5-star hotel nearby and from our hotel swim there. Breakfasts are monotonous, tasty. Very tasty croissants. There is a small selection of fruits and vegetables. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Catches well. Cleaning of rooms somewhere in a day. Very friendly manager lady. Knows a little Russian, friendly, solves any problems. Thank you very much for everything!!!

to judge this Aparthotel depends on what you are looking for and what you expect. we went with T.O. Margo 'knew what to expect from past experiences. in any case, if you do not expect luxury, perfection, comfort but a good price (at least at the end of September) you will find yourself in a very particular and nice "village", top floor tax apar**ent with sea view. furnished with everything you need , romantic. Beware that it takes a car because it is about 5km away from the town, the beautiful beaches at least 20-30 minutes, many many steps to do to reach the room ..... in any case the pros outweigh the cons .... to try for its uniqueness, at least for us, if you adapt you will find many positive things .... obviously the price must be low otherwise it is not worth it. it is located in the middle of the east coast and therefore convenient to visit both the south and the north. the owner is very kind, you can ask her for the car rental.

Hôtel fort sympathique et très bien situé. Parti avec Coralia,a refaire. Cadre parfait et les équipes compétent a tout les niveaux. Les excursions sont tous simplement magnifique. Une semaine est un peu juste, vaudrait partir une dizaine de jours.
