Although small expensive but good value for money. In addition, the children of the hotel were told that they are more sensitive to the air. They came over at night to handle the sheets and changed the sheets again. Breakfast is quite rich for European hotels. If you are traveling by car, the hotel also has a parking service, with a parking space of 90 euros a day, and will help us wash and clean the garbage in the car for free. The next time I come to Amsterdam, I will still fix him, very satisfied.

This hotel experience was amazing from arrival to departure. We absolutely loved everything about this place. We booked through the AMEX Fine Hotels program and the amenities provided did not disappoint. Our room was truly huge compared to other luxury hotels in Europe. The bathroom was luxurious, from the Dyptique toiletries to the Dyson hair dryer. The breakfast was fantastic! I don’t think I’ve ever had eggs more perfectly cooked day after day. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the lobby bar, which was a perfect respite from the outside crowds. Maybe my only suggestion would be to have that remain open longer. Midnight on a Saturday in Amsterdam felt very early for a last call. We cannot wait to come back for our next stay!

Hotel 717 lives up to its buzz and in fact, exceeded our expectations. From start to finish our stay was delightful. We were greeted warmly at the front doorstep and treated to a welcome cocktail after checking in. The property is beautiful! Expertly curated with whimsical, decorative details throughout. Our room was spacious, and the bed + bedding were sublime. Staff was exceptionally kind, with extra special praise earned by Camilla and Wolf who went above and beyond for us! It was quite difficult to leave Hotel 717, although the send-off tin of cookies eased our sadness and heightened our hopes to return asap. Thank you, Hotel 717! We are grateful for you all!

Great location, near to food places and the canal. The only time it was inconvenient is over the weekends when the close off the roads after 10.30pm till 7am the next morning so taxi or ubers can't drop you off at your hotel lobby, so something to be wary of when checking in or out with huge luggages over the weekend. Nothing to complain about the hotel itself however, will definitely be back!

Right next to the subway station, there are trams 4 and 14. We came out of the airport to take the train to the Central Station, and then changed to No. 4 to the hotel. The streets and roads in Amsterdam are not all asphalt roads, many of which are small bricks and have a lot of luggage. You have to choose the side of the subway station, otherwise you will walk too hard. Old hotel, very clean, very warm reception. No breakfast choice. If you are booking a car, please pay attention to the fact that taxis, etc. cannot reach the entrance of the hotel, or you must cross the square, or be on the side of the road behind you.

Excellent location, could walk to every “tourist” place. . Plenty of restaurants and bars right outside the doors! The breakfast at the hotel was great with lots of options and the staff very accommodating! Pastry chef is outstanding..deserves a raise!! Croissants the lightest fluffiest ever! Everything tastes as good as it looks! Front desk staff very nice, Sarah went out of her way to “fix” a minor problem and continued ask if everything was ok each time she saw us. Rooms clean and roomy, beds comfortable would stay again if ever in Amsterdam and recommend this hotel to anyone who asks! Transportation from airport is a little pricey (taxi for 4 ..70-100 euros depending on traffic ) but once you are there no need to use again.

Bring extra cash for hotel tax and deposits as we were only told on the 1st night of checking in when the recept call up to our room to ask us to go to the reception to pay for our hotel tax and deposit, where only the deposits will be refunded upon checking out if you did not consume their in-room beverages or destroy their hotel etc. Hotel location is very near to 2 super mart, and also the ******** coffee shop, cafe and restaurants, not very convenient for kids as every where smells of ********. Breakfast was super good spread, large varieties, we love it.

The hotel is quite close to the central train station. It is also close to the Chinatown, the Rembrandt museum, the restaurants, and other touristy places. The staffs are friendly and helpful. There is a small restaurant on the first floor. There are also a small shelves with snacks and drinks behind the receptionist, so it’s quite convient to get some midnight snacks. The room has a nice size and it is very clean. The decoration is quite playful and modern similar to other Ibis hotel. The price is good for the location and the size of the room. However, the room is not very sound proof. It’s easy to hear the sound coming from other rooms and form the corridor. At this time, Holland does not require the mask anymore inside the hotel so it’s nice to feel back to how it was before the pandemic.

Me and my partner stayed here for the weekend we were in room 7 a double bedroom, had a really nice private bathroom, however it is at the front of the hotel and it is smack bag in the central so if you’re not a party person I wouldn’t get a front room as it’s rather loud at night. You get what you pay for basically The only thing that we weren’t happy about was the fact that the room doesn’t have a kettle and the drinks machine down stairs was free when we got 2 the hotel and then Sunday afternoon it said we have 2 pay for the drinks and it was €2 for hot water let alone the other drinks they offered, that’s not acceptable if your not going to provide a kettle and essentials in the rooms. so was very disappointed with this as who doesn’t like a nice cup of tea in the evening.

I booked a river view room, the river view is very beautiful, open the window, you will feel the world is very beautiful! This is a small hotel, by the canal, the room area is not big, it is a small sparrow, it has all the internal organs, anyway, the facilities are not new, the toilet is relatively simple, it can only be considered barely acceptable. . The uncle at the front desk was pretty good, and I couldn't see it on the TV. There is nothing else to say. My fiancé and I had the most wonderful 3 night stay in Amsterdam and this hotel was the crowing glory of it. Our room was so lovely that we actually ended up spending more time in the hotel than we had planned to. The room was very stylishly decorated and had tea and coffee making facilities, a lovely comfortable bed with nice pillows, a nice big shower and an amazing view of the canal. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly in person and also super helpful whilst I was making the booking. It was my fiancé’s 40th birthday and when we arrived they had put balloons and a little note on the bed for him. To top it all off, the hotel is perfectly located, really close to all the touristy stuff. When we next come to Amsterdam, I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else!

On arrival the hotel was extremely hot, on check in we were told not to turn on the air-con as it only expels hot air and to just open the window. When we got to our room it was too hot and opening our window wasnt enough. I went downstairs to ask the receptionist if she could provide us with a fan since their aircon isnt working given the fact that they have in the hotel description that they offer aircon. She was extremely rude and told me no, that they dont provide fans, and that she cant turn on the aircon just for me, despite the other party i was with complaining prior over the same issue, and another guest complaining to the receptionist about the same while we were checking in. After the first day past the receptionist came up to my room as she stated she had spoken to the owner and “convinced him to let her turn the aircon on” meaning it did in fact work and the owner was clearly just too tight to turn it on as it costs money. I paid for a room with a view on to the square with a measurement of 15m2, u can see in the photo i was looking out onto a wall. When I brought this to receptionist she stated that my friends room was suppose to be mine, and that we can swap, despite my friends room being advertised with a measurement of 13m2. When i stated that we paid for the bigger room and that my friends room was the smaller room out of the 2, she denied this and refused to change my room to the correct one i had paid for. When looking outside our window onto the wall, we noticed there was a window opposite us that was able to see right into our bedroom and onto our bed. so we tried to pull the blind down, when we done this it was evident that the blind was broken and hanging off the wall. When i brought this to the attention of the receptionist i was told i was “looking for things to complain about” and to just “pull the blind off the wall” as she had it stuck to the wall with velcro! When i questioned this she told me “it doesn’t effect your sleep” there was absolutely no apology or sincerity instead a horrible and rude attitude. Both mine and my friends room were filthy. There was dust everywhere, from the bed post, to the window sills. When u jumped on the bed dust would fly into the air. The cups provided for the tea and coffee facility where also full of dust. On check out we were informed we could not leave our cases in the hotel and had to walk 15 minutes in the rain to a baggage storage shop where we paid 15 euro to leave our bags. Absolutely nightmare from start to finish. Overall the hotel was not fit for purpose considering the price i paid for 3 nights. i have never had to complain about a hotel but this one was like nothing i have ever stayed in before alone with such rudeness from the receptionist (who also informed me she was the manager)
