"Overall good. Staff service is OK. Breakfast doesn't have many choices. I'd like to see more variety in the menu. If you drive, there's an underground parking fee of $18 per day, and the parking lot is quite narrow. Big cars need to be careful when entering and exiting and parking."
"The room is very spacious and clean. The supporting services and facilities are very user-friendly. We experienced the hotel's history, the hotel's three-hour free bicycle activity, etc. The lobby butler was very professional and patient, and carefully introduced us to various dining, entertainment, and outdoor sports services. I will stay here again in the future."
"The location is good, next to the famous Canadian steakhouse The Keg. The service is also very warm, there are hot springs in the winter to soak, you can see the snow-capped mountains. Check-in and check-out are quick. A buffet breakfast is served daily, with yoghurt and oatmeal, and the egg yolk can also meet the needs and will be recommended."
"We were happy with this place. It seems dated but in nice repair (much like our home and ourselves). We wanted it mostly for the fireplace but the room had more than that with a full kitchen and full size appliances. If we ever wanted to be in Banff and make substantial home cooked food, this would be ideal. The bed was great and the staff very kind and friendly. It is in a natural mountain area just five minutes by car from downtown Banff. We had a balcony looking at a Mountain view and deer in the yard in front of the unit. There is bus service into town and free tickets offered by the resort. There is a water slide and an indoor and outdoor hot tub which is nice but not really a breathtaking setting. If you enjoy corn mazes this building has a lot of routing in it that takes a while to learn. We joked with other guests about that. All in all, pretty okay. We would book here again."
"The facilities in the room are relatively ordinary and a bit old, but the scenery outside the window is very good. You can see the snowy mountains and robes will appear from time to time outside the balcony👍. The service is also very good. The guy at the front desk will help take the luggage to the room."
"Overall pretty good, underground parking was rough with little space an terrible parkers. Unfortunately there’s nothing the hotel could do about people’s driving skills. I would recommend this hotel but get back early and walk if you can if you’d like to have a spot for your vehicle. "
"Parking is right outside the door. The location is very convenient
The room is clean and the room card is beautiful
Enjoy the hot spring facilities and beautiful environment
Except for a small bug found in the bathroom
Everything else is fine"
Ccha0214Loved our stay at Babff Ptarmigan Inn. The room was cleaned properly even the room services was perfect. We got a free transit pass with our reservation which we utilized! The picture is our view which you can see the mountains partially and it’s still so pretty!
GGuest UserThe place is not stroller/wheelchair friendly.
They made me park in a different parcade that only had stairs to the main level. Alongside that forcing me to walk in the rain. I chose this place because it had parking and while there the guy is like “parking is complimentary” and I’m trying to tell him I have a baby I need closer parking or underground and he’s like “you have baby? So what?” The audacity. Then after I park in the other parkade, walk to the hotel and check in, he hands me a parking note “oh put this in the car when you get a chance” you couldn’t give it to me ahead of time??
Then at 11:00:28am banging on my door while my babies crying over his voice “ITS CHECK OUT NOW CHECK OUT”
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is on the edge of Banff town, a 10-minute walk from the pedestrian street. The hotel breakfast is a Western buffet with milk, cereal, bread and bacon. For some reason, the prices of hotels in Banff have increased so much. The hotel is a bit expensive. You can stay in Canmore, 16 kilometers away. The underground parking garage is a bit old and dimly lit.
BBlur.86The kitchen is well equipped, the hot spring pool has a great view, and it is very relaxing to soak in. In addition, there is no restaurant in the hotel, so you need to go to the town to eat. Overall, it is a very enjoyable experience.
GGuest UserAlthough a bit too far from town centre, the ledge provides free bus tickets to shuttle between the lodge and town centre. Staffs were very helpful.
BBpraimIt was a great stay, parking was ample in the basement. The room was upgraded to a king suite(thank you). We didn't eat in the attached restaurant (chillies). The hottub was good and the reason we picked this hotel. Would stay again. Only thing negative I could say was that noises from outside easily make their way inside. Not bad, but worth a mention.
GGuest UserThe hotel is carefully decorated, the service staff is friendly, and the room is very clean
There is an underground parking lot and an elevator, which is very convenient for carrying luggage.
In-room meals are provided, which are inexpensive and convenient.
LLizhimoliJThis hotel is on Banff Street. Its hygiene, environment and facilities are all above average. Likewise, its price is on the high side (we booked their room because we couldn't find any other options). As for service, their reception and lobby are closed from 11pm to 7am. Unlike other hotels, during this time period, there is at least a place for guests to sit when needed to avoid the cold wind in Banff. Therefore, when we were waiting for the bus to Calgary Airport in the morning, we could only stand outside the door in the cold wind (Banff had just rained, and Banff was beautiful after the rain, but it was even colder. Some hotels on Banff Street had already started fires to keep warm).
RroiberadorI actually enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. I stayed in a room with mix men and women. I was surprised at first if I am in the wrong room because when I went in the room there were women. I just confirmed that it was the right room when I saw another male. So, 2 males 4 females. They were actually very kind and they respect each other for example they do not disturb another person because he/she might be resting. It is also good to meet other people of different nationalities. They have a kitchen that we can use. I had 2 breakfasts and it was pretty much a bonus for me. Breakfast was good. They also have their own bar where you cane eat and drink. Overall, amazing!
