The location of the hotel was great, with a short walk into the centre of town. The beds were also very comfortable. Staff were all very friendly. We had a family room with two bedrooms, The second room had no window that could be opened and no air conditioning. As it was April and 20 degrees the hotel decided it was still winter, so we had to request a controller for the air conditioning, as our rooms were very stuffy and unpleasant. The state of the room we were provided was outdated and nothing like the images used to promote the hotel. The carpet was very old and worn, there was no fridge, the furniture was very dated with broken fixtures. Unfortunately staying in Bosnia is like staying 30 years in the past, so in no way is this point just related to this hotel. But the entire hotel stank of stale old smoke. The corridors were horrible, the restaurant stank and you could constantly smell the stale smoke all the time. The pool area was very nice but charging €10 per person per visit is insane. I was forced to take my son as he was desperate to swim, and it was the primary reason we chose this hotel. Had I known the price was that outrageous we would have stayed elsewhere.
