It's a shame that I can't select 0 stars. On Tuesday 9th April, I had a meal with my family. To say that the customer service was bad is a huge understatement. The food took around 45 minutes to come after we ordered. When we asked, we were told that it was because they had run out of what we ordered so they had to make some from scratch. But why didn't they tell us that at the point of ordering? We should have been given the choice of waiting or re-ordering. When the food finally arrived, one dish was so overcooked, it was hard and dry. More like something you you use to build a house with. It should never have left the kitchen. An alternative was suggested but as we had already waited nearly an hour, and of course, everyone was by this point very hungry, this was too little, too late. There was no apology, just excuses. The manager refused to sit down at our table to discuss it. Instead, she insisted that my mum went to the reception desk. I can only assume that it was so there were not any witnesses. However, the whole restaurant could hear the manager shouting at my mum and my young son had to witness his granny being verbally abused. Her attitude was shocking: very aggressive and loud. A simple, honest apology at the start would have gone a long way. We will never go back. The manager clearly needs training in the basics of hospitality, or better yet, sacking. After reading the other reviews, it sounds like the same manager.
