Attractive, comfortable small hotel well situated in the old town of Beynac. Breakfast served in the hotel, restaurant is in separate building about 100 metres away but overlooking the Dordogne. This is a town of narrow streets, old buildings and very limited room for cars. There is a paying carpark about 100 metres uphill from the hotel (opposite direction from the restaurant). In March 2024 the minimum charge was 3 euros for 2.5 hours between 0800 and 1900 but the ticket machine allows you to spread the time either side of the free period, so we parked at 1800 and our 3 euros gave us a ticket until 0930 the next morning, which was all that we needed because during the day we were elsewhere. Friendly staff in the hotel looked after us well at breakfast. As it was March, and there were very few tourists present, the restaurant offered only a limited menu choice. We had a good duck breast on the one night we went there but made other arrangements for the other two nights.
