Even-though this hotel is not 5* but i give them 5* review because of their 5* services. Spotless room Nice bathrooms Warm and nice Greattttt breakfast To bad we didnt have the chance to try the dinner. Thanks for sending our son blanket back! We will b back.

Wir haben auf dem Weg an die Ostseeküste in der Wassermühle Heiligenthal übernachtet und waren angenehm überrascht. Unser ebenerdiges Zimmer war hell und komfortabel eingerichtet. Es war hell, gepflegt und sehr gut beheizt und wir haben in den sehr guten Betten ruhig und erholsam geschlafen. Das gegenüberliegende Restaurant mit großer Sommerterrasse am Mühlenteich bietet authentische Regionalküche in guter Qualität zu moderaten Preisen - durch die Mitgliedschaft in der Vereinigung "Regionale Esskultur Lüneburger Heide" befinden sich auf der Speisenkarte traditionelle Angebote frisch zubereitet aus besten lokalen Produkten. Wir hatten eine hervorragend zubereitete halbe Bauernente, die zart und mit einer aromatisch-knusprigen Haut serviert wurde. Die Fleischsülze mit Bratkartoffeln war ebenfalls hausgemacht und schmeckte außergewöhnlich gut. Die guten regionalen Produkte befanden sich auch auf dem Frühstücksbuffet: Frisches Brot und Brötchen vom lokalen Bäcker sowie Wurst und Aufschnitt in Metzgerqualität, frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen, Fisch und Salate waren überdurchschnittlich gut. Wir können das Hotel und Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Es ist für einen Städtetrip ins nah gelegene Lüneburg ebenso geeignet, wie für einen mehrtägigen Urlaub in der Lüneburger Heide oder eine Zwischenübernachtung mit regionalem Abendessen.
