Nestled just off the main road at the entrance to Yuhu Village, Baolin Homestay surprisingly keeps a perfect distance from the hustle and bustle. Stepping into the courtyard, you instantly grasp the true meaning of 'tranquility in the midst of noise': outside, you hear the clip-clop of horse hooves and the chatter of tourists, while inside, only the rustling of leaves in the wind and the distant whisper of snow-capped mountains can be heard. Right outside is the village's main street, with cafes and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. Turning right leads directly to the path down the mountain and open fields, incredibly convenient for hiking or horse riding. The courtyard layout is particularly delightful. We stayed in a private Loft-style courtyard, with a balcony on the first floor where two rattan chairs offer views of dark grey eaves and a patch of blue sky. The second floor features another small terrace with mountain views. The two levels are independent and offer excellent sound insulation. The room's decor combines raw wood and stone for a rustic feel, the bedding is soft, and the hot water is fast and consistent. The room rate includes a simple dinner for two, and the chef's cooking is excellent – a plate of local cured pork stir-fried with mushrooms, savory and imbued with a wild, earthy flavor; the stir-fried seasonal vegetables were crisp, tender, and sweet, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot congee, rice noodles, and side dishes, setting a great mood for the day. The front desk lady is the heart and soul of this place. Meticulous, diligent, and thoughtful, she brought us a warm, sweet dessert soup every evening that warmed us to our fingertips. Her drinks are never perfunctory, whether it's freshly ground coffee or ginger-date milk tea, all made with genuine care. The three little cats are the lively treasures of the courtyard, bringing the whole place to life. Our three days at Baolin were not luxurious, but everything was perfectly arranged; not ostentatious, yet unforgettable. This stone-walled courtyard in Yuhu Village – it will gently embrace you with a warm meal, a comforting drink, and a quiet night.

I originally came for the terrace and the snow-capped mountain view, but I was deeply touched by the warm atmosphere and all the thoughtful details! Before check-in, they proactively contacted me and sent all relevant information like the address, directions, and activities. They always offered to help with luggage, greeted me warmly whenever I came and went, and thoughtfully asked if I needed transportation or meals. It wasn't just commercial politeness; you could feel that they were genuinely good and sincere people! 🌄 The rooms with a second-floor terrace have an absolutely stunning view. You can see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise and sunset right from your room, with the snow-capped mountains practically at your fingertips when you're lying in bed. All the pictures were taken in the room with my phone! Absolutely amazing! I also stayed in a triangular vaulted room and loved the ceiling design! I slept incredibly well! The room photos are exactly what you get; absolutely no misleading pictures! 🍈 The day I arrived, as soon as I settled in, afternoon tea was delivered to my room. It wasn't some perfunctory pre-made stuff; there was delicious ice cream cake and fragrant rose tea! On my last day, I had to leave for the snow mountain before dawn and would miss breakfast, so the night before, the lady prepared a take-out breakfast and delivered it to my room – super thoughtful! After a day of playing, I didn't have an appetite for afternoon tea, so they brought me a full plate of fresh fruit. I was so touched! Every detail shows their sincerity! 🏘️ The hotel is not in the city center, so it's very quiet! During the day, the hotel can arrange transport to the city center, and it's also easy to get a taxi if you go out yourself. Baisha is a small town, different from the hustle and bustle of Lijiang, but it's quiet and convenient. A short walk takes you to the ancient town, and barbershops and convenience stores are all nearby. Because of this hotel, I love this small town even more!!!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They confirmed my check-in details and the hotel's location in advance. Upon arrival, they immediately offered to help with my luggage and even assisted with purchasing tickets for the Song Dynasty City show (I didn't realize discounted tickets needed to be bought a day in advance, but the hotel managed to get them for me). They were consistently warm and welcoming whenever I saw them. The breakfast was plentiful and, more importantly, delicious, with a fantastic view from the restaurant. The room was spacious and modern, featuring a double vanity and a large dressing mirror, perfect for two women to get ready simultaneously. My friend was extremely pleased. Initially, I was a bit worried based on some user-uploaded photos on Amap, but thankfully, the hotel's photos on Trip.com were accurate and trustworthy, not misleading. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

I came here because of the high ratings, and overall, I felt that the staff's enthusiasm and professionalism were higher than average hotels. The score seems quite fair. The two rooms were arranged very close to each other. The whole room was smart-enabled, and you could see the snow-capped mountains. If the weather is good, you must participate in the mushroom foraging activity; it's a great walk, and the mountain scenery is excellent. We followed the guide and found some huge mushrooms, and even with young children, they didn't get impatient. Being inside the scenic area meant avoiding queues and traffic jams, which was great about this village. When we left, there was heavy traffic here. The atmosphere was excellent, and during meals, there would be restaurant managers singing and frequently asking about the food. The restaurant was very distinctive. The elders wanted bags or other things, and their requests were met. The two little dogs were very cute and diligent, and the kids absolutely loved them. You could tell the hotel staff were very caring. The handicraft workshop was also fantastic; you could DIY art pieces. The hotel isn't big, and there aren't many cars, but they still provided a pick-up service. When we left, they even dropped us off at Medclub. Longnv Lake is just a two-step walk away, a scenic spot suitable for all ages. There's an even more distant place with better scenery, but we didn't go because we had the whole family with us. All in all, it was a great experience. Just a note, my room on the first floor had a step at the bed, so be careful.

Services: 24-hour butler service, complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea upon check-in, and local souvenirs upon departure. Guests can also experience unique wilderness activities. Special Features: The guesthouse is home to many cats, dogs, white rabbits, and geese, making it very pet-friendly.

The view from the balcony was beautiful, and the mattress was incredibly soft and comfortable – I fell asleep instantly. What really surprised and delighted me was that the owner provided complimentary pick-up and drop-off to and from the high-speed rail station. They treated us like family, even sharing local holiday specialties with us. Although the weather wasn't great, I was extremely satisfied with the overall accommodation and my trip. It was definitely worth the price! I brought my parents here, and even now, the three of us are still reminiscing. It felt like we were in the Swiss mountains, with every scene of the fields and pastures looking like a painting. This is true 'wild luxury' and a perfect escape. Just sitting in the wilderness and zoning out was incredibly healing. Oh, and the toiletries were a full set of Acqua di Parma's Colonia range, which I absolutely loved. No need to worry about the villas being far apart; they offer shuttle service that gets you to your room in three minutes, and they respond incredibly quickly. The ranch has many retired million-dollar racehorses running freely without saddles. They'd walk right up to you, and seeing them graze outside the window felt sacred and awe-inspiring. The restaurant food was superb; we had their Dai-style stir-fried chicken four times, and it was absolutely divine! The butlers were all very genuine and fun; with 14 butlers looking after just you, I felt like a kid again. We stayed in Lijiang for six days, at Banyan Tree, Taohuawu, and Qianshanji, but this 'wild luxury' hotel was by far the most memorable and stunning. It's true that experiencing such an amazing hotel too early raises your expectations, as everything from the environment to the service here is top-notch. It even made our subsequent stay at Lugu Lake feel less impressive. Next time, I'm definitely staying for a whole week; two days was just too short!

Honestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan. From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking. The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations. The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away. What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! Situated right near Baisha Ancient Town and at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, it boasts a prime, front-row view of the mountain. With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!

When my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
