When we arrived things already went wrong, they were clearing the street at the front so we had to wait a long time in the car until you could drive into the hotel grounds. Then we had to wait a very long time until we could check in. Purely due to ''short staff''.
Restaurant was closed for days, partly due to the same ******** reason, but then I think LET THE GUESTS KNOW (BY MAIL) IN ADVANCE BEFORE THEY BOOK HERE that there are NO staff for service. That would have been neat. We would have liked a hotel where we could go to the restaurant at all times!
Next: The room is very standard and empty, little entertainment in the hotel. There isn't even a clean lobby at the front. Especially the fellow guests, we did not expect that there were only eastern blockers and workers. The a**osphere was grim and not cozy or warm at all. Lots of people smoking next door, which can be very smelly (inside). It's a shame to waste your money on this hotel.
Most of the staff do NOT speak Dutch, they also seemed to be quite uneducated in the profession. Very waste of money again.
Fortunately we had only booked for 2 nights and no longer. However, after 1 night the key had only been checked out again due to the carelessness of new staff who spent a lot of time messing around in the system. From the beginning he had also just placed the PIN machine in front of us without communicating that it had already been paid online, so I pointed this out and he literally said: ''Oh yes, no, that's wrong, don't touch it''... then I think I DON'T LEAVE THAT THING IN FRONT OF MY NOSE UNINTENDEDLY!]
Overall A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOTEL IN KUT BREDA.
