This hotel is amazing ! Staff are super helpful and attentive - nothing is too much trouble for them. Room service is the best I’ve ever had - fresh pasta delivered to the room in under 20 min (had hangovers)! In the best location - right in the hustle bustle but rooms are so quiet . We will 100% be coming back here .

After a long time, finally an overnight stay in this beautiful hotel. Closed because of Covid, but now open again. Good: Friendly staff, very nicely furnished rooms (especially deluxe rooms and up). Great pillows, fast wifi, good lighting concept, nice terrace, big bathroom. Not so good: Breakfast room a bit cold in terms of a**osphere

The location is excellent, just a few meters from the coastal road. The (sportboat) port is only 200 metres away, so you can walk on the sea side to the other end of the place to take the ferry there. The hotel is conducted by two business-made ladies, who made me a stick for a single trip room 140 euros, which was clearly too much. Unfortunately, in open windows, sleep is hardly thought, because in about 30 meters away the freight trains pass, if you have the room to the wrong side. The bathroom was newly made, beautiful tiles and a modern shower. I spent a few days in this hotel with my family, immediately being hit by the beauty of the environment, for the large, well-treated spaces both outside and inside: he welcomed us a garden with a green grass and ugly flowered trees, And there was a very gentle personal meeting that brought us the baggage to the room and showed us the parking of the hotel. Inside, beautiful furnished rooms with elegant and garned with fresh plants and flowers, and a light-fledged dinner room thanks to the walls of glass, faced on the garden. At the latest floor, a large terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and its islands, behind it is a beautiful pool that is not yet enjoyable in spring but which is surely offering a pleasant cooling in summer. We felt cocktailed and we found also available from room staff (we had the half-pension treatment) ready to meet the needs of my grandchildren aged one and five. The hotel is excellent location, close to the centre and the lake, and especially two steps from the departure of the ferries to the islands.

I had 2 wonderful days on the Lake maggiore! I could not pick a better location. The hotel is located in an antic palace that made me feel like nobility in the 18th century. The room was very clean and spacious, as well as cozy. Like being in your own bedroom, but with no noises and a much better view 😀 The breakfast was amazing. From eggs and bacon to the home made cakes, cookies and everything in between. In only 2 days I was able to refresh and recharge, surrounded by the famous kindness of the Italian hosts. Thank you. You will see me again for sure 🙌🏻🌸

It's a fairytale! It took me a lot to decide if to take the risk to travel or not. I'm glad I did take the risk! This is the first holiday when I don't check anything about the place I was going to stay, surrounding area not at all, just wanted to escape London for a bit. From far one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The hotel looks like a museum, incredibly amazing, surprises didn't chased to happen, they have a pool, tennis court, soccer court so many facilities, it's crazy. The room I've stayed, stunning,the view from the balcony took my breath away. It's quite, it's beautiful, it's perfect! Hotel stuff, they couldn't do any better than this, friendly, willing to assist whenever necessary, I felt like home! I've even got an early check in 🤗.Thank you Domenico, Monica, Andrea, Manpreet and everyone else!!! For anyone looking to escape the madness from a busy city like London let's say, this is the best place to be! P.S. make sure you bring mosquitoes spray, as I've mentioned I haven't done any inquiries before coming so, mosquitoes attack wasn't fun at all. I was looking forward to have dinner in the outdoors restaurant which ended up being a nightmare, but it was entirely my fault, the hotel is located on a hill, surrendered by trees obviously you'll have to deal with mosquitoes. Excellent position

It is a grand old hotel though well maintained with modern comfortable rooms. The beds were good. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The grassy area outdoors near the pool is a great place to sit and look at the lake and at Isola Bella. Service was very good. Only problem was the food. We were here as part of a group and had half board. Breakfast was OK, but dinner was very spotty. Mostly not so good, a few good meals. Avoid the fish, always way overcooked. If you are not tied to a group walk into town for dinners.

Ich habe im November 2023 das Hotel zwei Nächte von Freitag bis Sonntag besucht. Ich kenne es seit ca. zehn Jahren und bin fast alle Jahre ein bis zwei Mal pro Jahr dort gerne abgestiegen. Sauberkeit, Küche und Service habe ich stets geschätzt. Das Hotel hat auch ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Nun aber hat sich vieles verändert. Am Samstag Abend war für uns Hotelgäste das Restaurant ohne Vorankündigung geschlossen. Mit zwei grösseren geschlossenen Gesellschaften war die Küche offenbar voll ausgelastet und alle anderen Gäste mussten auswärts essen gehen. Am Samstag Abend war das Restaurant dann für uns offen und das Abendessen war recht gut. Samstag Nacht: Im geräumigen Keller des Kreuzganges fand eine Party statt. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im ersten Stock mit Blick in den Garten und leider auch schräg über dem Kellergewölbe. Die ganze Nacht lang bis zwei Uhr morgens ertönte laute Musik gemischt mit unprofessionellem Klaviergeklimper, sozusagen in einer Schlaufe. Ich habe ganze vier Stunden geschlafen. Sonntag Morgen: Beim Frühstück war das aufgeschnittene Weissbrot stark angetrocknet, es stammte wahrscheinlich vom Vortag. Auf dem Tresen stand eine ziemlich neue moderne Kaffeemaschine. Cappucino aus dem Automaten: Anstatt mit frischer Milch arbeitet die Maschine mit Milchpulver. Der Cappucino war schlicht ungeniessbar. Auf Verlangen hin bekamen wir dann aber frische heisse Milch. – Das Wochenende hatte ich mir anders vorgestellt. Seit ca. zwei Jahren hat das Hotel ein neues Management, das mit durschschlagendem Erfolg daran arbeitet, den vormals ausgezeichneten Ruf des Hotels zu zerstören. Mich dauern die langjährigen Angestellten an der Reception und im Service. Das Rezept des Managements ist offensichtlich Gewinnmaximierung um jeden Preis, völlig egal, ob dabei Gäste und Stammgäste vergrault werden. In Italien eine Kaffeemaschine mit Milchpulver zu betreiben ist eine Todsünde und eine Beleidigung für die kulinarisch hochstehende Region Piemont. Dem Hotel empfehle ich, wenn es seinen ehemals guten Ruf behalten möchte, das Management dringend auszuwechseln und von schnöder Gewinnmaximierung Abstand zu nehmen. We had a triple corner room (with 2 balconies) which was very spacious compared to other hotels we've stayed in,bathroom had a bath and separate walk in shower. Staff all very helpful and friendly with good English. Ample selection at buffet breakfast, continental and bacon and scrambled egg available. Very clean in all areas. Great location, across from the lake, near the ferry station, lots of restaurants and little shops nearby. Double glazing kept the room quiet from street sounds. Others have commented on lack of soundproofing but we had no problem, once or twice heard next doors shower running but only when in our bathroom. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to Lago Maggiore. We were in room 104, in the Stresa part of the hotel.
