Hotels near Retiro Station, Buenos Aires

We were very comfortable and we were very comfortable and we were very comfortable and we were very comfortable and we were also taxiing, we were in a number of places and we had no problem. When we arrived in the room, there were two single beds, we joined together and we could sleep in that way. We picked up the heat record in Argentina in March o/23, thanks to God the air conditioning was working perfectly, the shower is great, breakfast is OK, the wifi is not very good. If you're going to take a trip, stay out the whole day and don't want to stay in the hotel long, just use for rest, I recommend.

Stayed for 5 nights on a last-minute family trip to BA. I'd stayed here 20 years before, remembered it favorably, and wasn't disappointed. We chose a larger room, (not much more expensive than the basic rooms) which turned out to be a small suite. Beds very comfy, rooms well-cleaned each day. Nice breakfast with enough choice to keep us interested each day. Slept great. Used their parking garage for our rental car, which is run as a valet service by Concierge & door staff. All of the staff were very helpful, friendly and patient with us, including helping us to understand the way to change money safely on the ”Blue Dollar” market. It's not a luxury resort-style hotel, but if you want a good-quality hotel, pretty central that is very clean, very friendly and very comfy you'll find it hard to beat. Good reasonably priced family restaurants nearby, and a supermarket across the street were also useful. Note - I read the previous recent reviews on this page - all were helpful and proved to be very accurate.

Avoid this hotel at any cost. It was a shameless bait & switch tactic. We booked a quadruple room at the Recoleta Luxury Boutique Hotel. We prepaid a few nights to be on the safe side. When we showed up to check in according to plan the room we were supposed to occupy was not available due to, supposedly, emergency renovations. Staff gave us contradicting explanations: some pipeline had flooded the hotel but the renovations seemed to be more than just a last minute fix. It all looked planned. The unavailability of our room certainly came as a surprise, we had been in touch with hotel staff repeatedly throughout the prior weeks. They claimed that they did not have contact info to let us know about this unexpected turn of events: false, they had sent us confirmation of our booking to our email address. We had contacted them several times over the phone and in person leading up to our stay at the hotel. They sent us to another establishment belonging to the same hotel chain: the so-called Le B Club & Terrace. Ignore the pompous name: it is a student hostel with horrible maintenance and lousy hygiene. We are talking roaches; walls badly in need of a coat of paint; a rickety, claustrophobic elevator on the brink of malfunction, and a curious reluctance to change our towels, among other details. Both establishments seem to be seriously understaffed. The little staff there is available comes across as terminally uninterested, apathetic, jaded, possibly untrained, prone to lame excuses and bogus explanations. One of their pretexts was “I can’t help you because I just started in the job”. When we finally got lucky enough to confront the manager of Recoleta Luxury Boutique Hotel, an elusive woman by the name Carolina, she apologized profusely and claimed to be on our case. Once again, she wrote down our contact info (or pretended to do so). Several days have passed and we never heard back from her: out of sight, out of mind. In short: avoid this hotel and all its other sister establishments at all cost. It will be a disappointing and at times infuriating experience.

This hotel is a top address in Buenos Aires with very spacious rooms with nice amenities and an incredibly attentive staff: The reception staff was always very helpful and the service team was amazing. I felt always very safe, COVID wise. Everyone took the measurements really seriously. The view from the hotel is wonderful and breathtaking. Thank you very much for an amazing stay.

The hotel is situated in the heart of town - so many fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars on its doorstep. Facilities are basic but the room was very clean and the breakfast more than adequate. The perfect hotel for creating a base in the heart of Buenos Aires. The real plus we’re the excellent staff who were on hand and eager to assist with everything. Very knowledgable helpful and kind - special mention to Danny, Sarah and Gabriel who were excellent, all three went above and beyond, so a huge thanks to the three of you - you made us so very welcome. We stayed for 1 night around 2 weeks ago before our cruise. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was and the front desk host, Daniel, was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel late morning after a long flight from the US. We were relieved that our room was ready. We were starving and Daniel recommended a restaurant near the hotel that was excellent and affordable. Our room was on the top floor with a great view of the plaza. It was in a great location and we walked all over and saw landmarks like the Obelisk and Teatro Colon. The room was comfortable and had a mini fridge and sofa. The breakfast was very good. Highly recommend this hotel and it was very good value.

I know this Hotel Since 2004 and visited a couple of times. I near Santa AV, Onje block from 9 de Julio AvV. and les than 5 mins from General San Martin Station (Metro Line C). The guys at the reception are very competent, friendly and attentive. Has 3Elebatores and a pool, restaurant, Sauna, decent Wifi in Lobby and in every floor.. The Hotel has 3 Elevators. Our room was quite big and includes a small refrigerator and a touch induction cooker over the countertop, as well as a microwave. Also there is a 50” Led TV. Air conditioning. Safe deposit Box. The bathroom is well equipped and spacious. Plenty of plugs available in the room (keep in mind that Argentina uses 220V)

The location is successful, everything is near, and what is not near - on transportation or taxi for a small price. (to trade is necessary, or the next taxi driver will be more cooperative) Everywhere shops, restaurants, walking street Florida. Currency exchange is the same. In 10-12 min. walking terminal from where ferries are sent to Uruguay. The room itself is large, two-room, with balcony and panoramic windows, stunning dawns and sunsets. (on the 37th floor) But very dusty. Bosic does not look. We left the country for a few days and, looking at other hotels around the city, decided to come back here because except dust, everything was fine. The Internet is good, the minimum dishes, but we were enough.The only thing was missing a microwave oven. Also after return I asked for 2 more towels for the pool, the manager replied please, but for $10, very not visionary from his side.For very lazy people there is a cafe right at the entrance, they serve good steaks for an acceptable price. Otherwise, it is normal.

The hotel is very good. The bedrooms are good and clean, the breakfast is very varied, everything is very fresh the location is also good, the uber and taxi arrives very quickly. The room has a very legal size. The reception was very nice. The only thing I didn't mention in the reservation was the need for a credit card, but I did not like it much!
